You Can Translate YouTube Videos Subtitle English to Other Languages!

आप यूट्यूब वीडियो उपशीर्षक अंग्रेजी में अन्य भाषाओं का अनुवाद कर सकते हैं!

Hey guys! This is a special video where I'm going to show you a cool feature on YouTube,

नमस्ते मित्रों! यह एक विशेष video है। जिसमें मैं आप सभी को यूट्यूब की एक ख़ासियत के बारे में बताने जा रही हूँ।

and ask you if you have time to help other people

Some of you may know this already but YouTube has a feature that allows anyone,

including you, to submit a translation of the subtitles.

If you've used my subtitles, then you know that I create

अगर आपने मेरे subtitles इस्तेमाल किए हैं तो आपको पता होगा की

English subtitles for every video.

मैं इंग्लिश subtitle हर विडीओ में डालती हूँ

First, let me show you some of these features.

Here's my video on how to make the AH as in Bat vowel.

And if you go over here, you can press the CC button to turn the subtitles off and on.

But if you click this gear for settings,

अगर आप इस gear को क्लिक करे सेटिंग्स खोलने के लिए

you can then click on subtitles

तब आप subtitles पर क्लिक कर सकते हैं

and you can see that there are four different languages here: the English, which I made

and I put -RE here, so you know that that's something I made.

It's not just the automatic captions.

automatic नहीं आया है

Then someone has contributed Portuguese,

फिर किसी ने Portuguese में बना कर डाला है

Russian, and Vietnamese caption file as well.

Russian और Vietnamese कैप्शन फ़ाइल भी हैं

So you can select which language you would like to see the subtitles in.

तो आप चुन सकते हैं जिस भी भाषा में आप subtitles देखना चाहते हैं

So a great way for you to not only work on your language skills but also help someone else

यह एक बहोत अच्छा तरीक़ा है अपने भाषा ज्ञान पे काम करने का और किसी की मदद भी करने का

whose English skills might not be as advanced as yours,

जिनकी अंग्रेज़ी उतनी तगड़ी नहीं जितनी आप की है

is to create a translation of the captions.

Let me show you how to do that and how to keep track of them.

YouTube has some pretty cool features

Youtube में काफ़ी मज़ेदार खूबियाँ हैं

and you may find that this becomes a fun hobby of yours.

और शायद ये आपकी हॉबी भी बन जाए

Let's say you find a video that you want to add captions to.

माँ लेते हैं आपको एक विडीओ मिली है जिसमें आप कैप्शन डालना चाहते हैं

This video is where I showed people my wedding photos

इस विडीओ में मैं अपनी शादी की तस्वीरें दिखा रही हूँ जो काफ़ी साल पुरानी हैं

from several years ago and it doesn't have any contributed caption translations.

और इसमें कोई सहयोगित कैप्शन अनुवाद नहीं है

So what you can do is you can go click on the Settings button

and then click on 'subtitles'

तो आप सेटिंग्स पर क्लिक कीजिए फिर subtitles

and then there's an option to add subtitles.

और तब वहाँ एक ऑप्शन आटा है subtitles डालने का

So when you click on that button, it opens another tab.

जब आप उस बटन पर क्लिक करते हैं तो एक नया टैब खुल जाता है

To start, you select the language that you want to add.

शुरुआत करने के लिए पहले भाषा का चयन करे जो आप डालना चाहते हैं

Let's say I'm going to add Spanish subtitles.

जैसे मैं Spanish subtitle डालूँगी

You open it up and then it takes you to the page where you can watch the video

आप उसे खोलते हैं और ये आपको इस पेज पर लाएगा जहां आप विडीओ देख सकते हैं

and then you also see in the left-hand side here.

और यह बायें हाथ की तरफ़ देख सकते हैं

The English caption file which I've made and then there's a place for you to translate each caption.

अंग्रेज़ी कैप्शन फ़ाइल जो मैंने बनायी है और उसके नीचे आपके लिए अनुवाद करने की जगह

So I could start typing in Spanish what I wanted to,

तो मैं यह Spanish में लिखना शुरू कर सकती हूँ

what I thought was a good translation for this...

and so on, I won't type the whole caption translation here.

मैं अभी यहाँ पूरा अनुवाद नहीं करूँगी पर

But when you're done, you can delete it if you feel like you've messed up and you don't want to save it.

जब आप पूरा कर ले आप delete कर सकते हैं अगर आपको सही नहीं लगता

You can submit if you're done and you're ready

या फिर Submit कर सकते हैं अगर पूरी तरह तैयार है

and if you're not, if you don't have time to finish it all at once,

या फिर आपके पास समय नहीं है पूरा करने का

it will save what you've typed into your drafts

यह अपने आप उसे Drafts में सेव कर देगा

so it automatically saves every time you add something.

तो यह automatically सेव करता है जब भी आप कुछ टाइप करेंगे

If you want, you can click credit my contribution,

अगर आप चाहे तो "credit my contribution " पर क्लिक करे

which I believe means that it will link back to you

जो मेरे ख़याल से आप टक वापस link करेगा

so that people can know who contributed these awesome translations.

जिस से लोगों को पता चलेगा ये किसने लिखी हैं

To keep track of your translations,

अपने अनुवाद की खबर रखने के लिए

you can click on the 'your contributions' tab here in the left bar menu

आप 'your contribution' पर क्लिक कर सकते हैं जो बायीं तरफ़ मौजूद है

and you can see videos that you have submitted

और आप सारे विडीओज़ देख सकते हैं जो आपने add किए हैं

that you're done with and then you can also see your drafts.

जो अधूरे हैं वो आप 'draft ' में देख सकते हैं

So this is where you can come back and edit if you don't have time to finish all at once.

यह आप वापस आ कर कभी भी edit कर सकते हैं अगर समय की कमी हो तो
