about five ways how not to follow your dreams.

One: Believe in overnight success.

You know the story, right?

The tech guy built a mobile app and sold it very fast for a lot of money.

You know, the story may seem real, but I bet it's incomplete.

If you go investigate further,

I myself have a story in Brazil that people think is an overnight success.

I come from a humble family,

Two: Believe someone else has the answers for you.

Constantly, people want to help out, right?

လူတွေဟာ အစဉ်လိုပဲ ကူညီချင်တယ်၊ ဟုတ်တယ်နော်?

All sorts of people: your family, your friends, your business partners,

ရှင်တို့ရဲ့ မိသားစု၊ ရှင်တို့ရဲ့ မိတ်ဆွေတွေ၊ ရှင်တို့ရဲ့ စီးပွားဖက်တွေ၊

အားလုံးက ရှင်တို့ ဘယ်လမ်းအတိုင်း သွားသင့်ကြောင်း အမြင်တွေရှိကြတယ်-

they all have opinions on which path you should take:

"And let me tell you, go through this pipe."

But whenever you go inside,

ဒါပေမဲ့ ရှင်တို့ အဲဒီကို ဝင်လိုက်တာနဲ့ ဆက်ပြီး ရွေးစရာတွေကို မြင်လာရမယ်။

there are other ways you have to pick as well.

And you need to make those decisions yourself.

No one else has the perfect answers for your life.

And you need to keep picking those decisions, right?

The pipes are infinite and you're going to bump your head,

When I launched my first book,

I worked really, really hard to distribute it everywhere in Brazil.

With that, over three million people downloaded it,

over 50,000 people bought physical copies.

you need to work harder than ever and find yourself another peak.

Maybe if I did little,

a couple hundred thousand people would read it,

and that's great already.

But if I work harder than ever,

I can bring this number up to millions.

That's why I decided, with my new book, to go to every single state of Brazil.

And I can already see a higher peak.

There's no time to settle down.

အခြေချနေထိုင်ဖို့ အချိန် မရှိပါ။

Fourth tip, and that's really important:

စတုတ္ထ အကြံပေးချက်- တကယ့်ကို အရေးကြီးတယ်-

Believe the fault is someone else's.

အပြစ်ရှိတာ အခြားတယောက်ပါလို့ ယုံကြည်ပါ။

I constantly see people saying,

ကျွန်မဟာ အစဉ်လိုလို ကြားရတာက၊

"ကျွန်တော့ဆီမှာ အရမ်းကောင်းတဲ့ စိတ်ကူးရှိတယ်၊

"Yes, I had this great idea, but no investor had the vision to invest."

ဒါပေမဲ့ ဘယ်သူမှာမှ အဲဒီထဲ မရင်းနှီးချင်ကြဘူး။"

"အို၊ အရမ်းကောင်းတဲ့ ဒီထုတ်ကုန်ကို ကျွန်တော် တီထွင်လိုက်ပြီ၊

"Oh, I created this great product,

but the market is so bad, the sales didn't go well."

ဈေးကွက် အခြေအနေဆိုးနေလို့ သိပ် မရောင်းရဘူး။"

Or, "I can't find good talent; my team is so below expectations."

ဒါမှမဟုတ်၊ "တော်တဲ့လူတွေကို ရှာမရဘူး ကျွန်တော့အဖွဲ့ဟာ သိပ်ညံ့လှတယ်။"

If you have dreams,

ရှင်တို့ဆီမှာ စိတ်ကူးတွေ ရှိရင်၊

it's your responsibility to make them happen.

အဲဒါတွေ ရုပ်လုံးပေါ်လာရေးဟာ ရှင်တို့ရဲ့ တာဝန်ပါပဲ။

Yes, it may be hard to find talent.

တော်တဲ့လူတွေကို ရှာရတာ ခဲယဉ်းတာမှန်ပါတယ်။

Yes, the market may be bad.

ဟုတ်ကဲ့၊ ဈေးကွက် အခြေအနေဟာ ဆိုးဝါးနိုင်ပါတယ်။

But if no one invested in your idea,

ဒါပေမဲ့ လူတယောက်ကမှ ရှင့်စိတ်ကူးကို မထောက်ပံ့ချင်ရင်၊

if no one bought your product,

ရှင့်ထုတ်ကုန်ကို ဝယ်မယ့်သူ မရှိရင်၊

for sure, there is something there that is your fault.

အဲဒီထဲမယ် ရှင်ရဲ့ အပြစ် တစုံတခုရှိနေတာ သေချာပါတယ်။

Definitely.

သိပ်ကို သေချာပါတယ်။

You need to get your dreams and make them happen.

ရှင်တို့ဟာ စိတ်ကူးတွေကို ယူပြီး လက်တွေ့ လုပ်ဖို့ လိုအပ်တယ်။

And no one achieved their goals alone.

ပြီးတော့ ဘယ်သူမှာမှ မိမိပန်းတိုင်တွေကို တယောက်တည်း မရယူနိုင်ခဲ့ပါ။

ရှင်တို့ဟာ ရှင့်စိတ်ကူးတွေ လက်တွေ့ ဖြစ်လာအောင် မလုပ်နိုင်ရင်

But if you didn't make them happen, it's your fault and no one else's.

အဲဒါဟာ ရှင်တို့ရဲ့ အပြစ်သက်သက်ပါ။

Be responsible for your dreams.

ကိုယ့် စိတ်ကူးတွေအတွက် တာဝန်သိတတ်ပါ။

ပြီးတော့ နောက်ဆုံးနဲ့ တကယ့်ကို အရေးကြီးတဲ့ အကြံပေးချက်က-

And one last tip, and this one is really important as well:

Believe that the only things that matter are the dreams themselves.

တကယ့်တကယ် အရေးကြီးဆုံးက စိတ်ကူးတွေ ကိုယ်နှိုက်ပါ။

Once I saw an ad, and it was a lot of friends,

ကျွန်မဟာ တချိန်တုန်းက ကြော်ငြာတခု မြင်ခဲ့တယ်၊ မိတ်ဆွေ အများကြီးက၊

they were going up a mountain, it was a very high mountain,

တောင်တခုကို တက်ဖို့ ပြင်နေခဲ့ကြတယ်၊ သိပ်ကို မြင့်တဲ့ တောင်ကြီးပါ၊

and it was a lot of work.

တော်တော့ကို ကြိုးစားဖို့ လိုခဲ့တယ်။

You could see that they were sweating and this was tough.

And they were going up, and they finally made it to the peak.

Of course, they decided to celebrate, right?

I'm going to celebrate, so, "Yes! We made it, we're at the top!"

Two seconds later, one looks at the other and says,

"OK, let's go down."

Life is never about the goals themselves.

Life is about the journey.

ဘဝဆိုတာ တချိန်လုံး သွားနေရတဲ့ လမ်းခရီးပါ။

Yes, you should enjoy the goals themselves,

ဟုတ်ကဲ့၊ ရှင်တို့ဟာ ပန်းတိုင်တွေ ကိုယ်၌ကို ခံစားနိုင်ကြတာ မှန်ပါတယ်၊

but people think that you have dreams,

and whenever you get to reaching one of those dreams,

အဲဒီလို စိတ်ကူးတွေထဲက တခုခုကို လက်လှမ်းမှီပြီဆိုရင်၊

it's a magical place where happiness will be all around.

အံ့အားသင့်စရာ ကောင်းကာ ပျော်ရွှင်မှုတွေနဲ့ ပြည့်နေမယ်လို့ လူတွေ ထင်ကြတယ်။

But achieving a dream is a momentary sensation,

ဒါပေမဲ့ စိတ်ကူးတခုကို လက်လှမ်းယူမှုကို တခဏမျှသာ ခံစားရတာပါ၊

ရှင်တို့ရဲ့ ဘဝကျတော့ အဲဒီလို မဟုတ်ဘူး။

and your life is not.

The only way to really achieve all of your dreams

is to fully enjoy every step of your journey.

ရှင်တို့ရဲ့ ဘဝခရီးရဲ့ အဲဒီလို ခြေလှမ်းတိုင်းကို အပြည့်အဝ ခံစားဖို့ပါပဲ။

That's the best way.

အဲဒါကမှ အကောင်းဆုံး နည်းလမ်းပါ။

And your journey is simple -- it's made of steps.

ဘဝခရီးဟာ လွယ်ပါတယ် -- ခြေလှမ်းတွေနဲ့ ပြည့်နေတယ်။

တချို့ခြေလှမ်းတွေဟာ မှန်ကြပါလိမ့်မယ်။

Some steps will be right on.

Sometimes you will trip.

If it's right on, celebrate, because some people wait a lot to celebrate.

And if you tripped, turn that into something to learn.

If every step becomes something to learn or something to celebrate,

ခြေလှမ်းတိုင်းဟာ တခုခုကို သင်ယူစရာ ဒါမှမဟုတ်

ကျင်းပစရာ ဖြစ်လာတယ်ဆိုရင်၊

you will for sure enjoy the journey.

ဒီတော့ အကြံပေးချင်တာ ငါးခုပါ-

Believe in overnight success,

ညတွင်းချင်း အောင်မြင်မှာ ယုံကြည်နေပါ၊

believe someone else has the answers for you,

ရှင့်အတွက် အဖြေကို တယောက်ယောက်က ပေးမှာကို ယုံနေပါ၊

believe that when growth is guaranteed, you should settle down,

အောင်မြင်မှု သေချာသွားရင် အခြေချ နေထိုင်သင့်တာကို ယုံကြည်ပါ၊

အခြားသူတယောက်ရဲ့ အပြစ်ကြောင့်ပဲ

believe the fault is someone else's,

and believe that only the goals themselves matter.

Believe me, you do that, and you will destroy your dreams.
