You know, there are very few things that set us apart

دەزانی، شتانێکی کەم هەن کە ئێمە لێک جییا دەکەنەوە

from the rest of life on Earth.

لە ژیانی سەر زەوی.

At the heart of them, I believe, is our inexhaustible power of imagination.

لەبنەڕەتەوە، من باوەڕم وایە، خەیاڵ هێزی بێ سنووری ئێمە.

Imagination is the ability to bring into mind, things that aren’t present.

خەیاڵ کردن توانای وێنا کردنی شتێکە کە لە مێشکدا نییە.

With imagination, we can anticipate the future.

لە ڕێی خەیاڵ کردنەوە، دەتوانین مەزندەی داهاتوو بکەین.

We can revisit the past.

دەتوانین بە ڕابردوو بچینەوە.

You can step outside the present moment

دەتوانی هەنگاو بنێی بۆ داهاتوو

هەوڵبدەی و ئەو شتانە ببینی کە کەسانی دیکە دەیبینن.

and try and see things as other people see them.

لەڕێگەی داهێنانەوە دەتوانین پلانەکانمان بەرەوە پێشەوە بەرین،

It’s through creativity that we develop our architecture,

our scientific proofs,

سەلماندنە زانستیەکانمان،

and our works of art.

کارە هونەریەکانمان.

ئێمە تەنها لە زەویدا ناژین وەک ئەوەی بینیووەتمانەوە،

We don’t just live in the world as we find it,

we create civilizations, theories, technologies,

ئێمە شارستانیەتی، بیردۆز، زانست و زانیاریمان دروست کرد،

and we reach beyond the planet.
