Seventy-thousand years ago, our ancestors were insignificant animals.

The most important thing to know about prehistoric humans

is that they were unimportant.

Their impact on the world was not much greater than that of jellyfish

or fireflies or woodpeckers.

Today, in contrast, we control this planet.

आज इसके व्यतिरेक हम इस ग्रह पर काबू पालिये|

And the question is:

How did we come from there to here?

हम वहाँ से यहाँ कैसे पहुंच गये?

How did we turn ourselves from insignificant apes,

हम अपने आप को कैसे मोड लिये ताकी हम आफ्रिका के कोने में

minding their own business in a corner of Africa,

अपने काम देखने वाले नगणनीय वानर से

into the rulers of planet Earth?

इस दुनिया के शासक कैसे बनगये?

Usually, we look for the difference between us and all the other animals

आम तौर पर, हम व्यक्तिगतस्तर पर दूसरे जानवर और हमलोगोँ

on the individual level.

मे फर्क देखते है|

We want to believe -- I want to believe --

हमलोग ये मानना चाह्ते है -- मैँ ये मानना चाह्ता हूँ --

that there is something special about me,

कि मुझ मेँ कुछ खास बात है,

about my body, about my brain,

मेरे शरीर मे, मेरे दिमाग मे,

that makes me so superior to a dog or a pig, or a chimpanzee.

जो मुझे एक कुत्ता, एक सुवर, या एक चिँपाँजी से कई ज्यादा बेहतर बनाता है|

But the truth is that, on the individual level,

लेकिन सच तो ये है कि व्यक्तिगत स्तर पर

I'm embarrassingly similar to a chimpanzee.

मैँ शर्मानक, चिँपाँजी समान रूप मे हूँ|

And if you take me and a chimpanzee and put us together on some lonely island,

और अगर तुम मुझे और एक चिँपाँजी को एक सुनसान द्वीप मे रखोँगे|

and we had to struggle for survival to see who survives better,

और अगर हम को जीने के लिए सँघर्ष करना पडा, और कौन बेहतर बचता

I would definitely place my bet on the chimpanzee, not on myself.

मै अपना शर्त निश्चित रूप से चिँपाँजी के ऊपर, रखूँगा परन्तु मेरे ऊपर नहीँ|

And this is not something wrong with me personally.

और मुझमें व्यक्तिगत रूप से कोई कमी नहीँ है|

I guess if they took almost any one of you, and placed you alone

मुझे लगता है, अगर वेआप में से किसी एक को लेते और तुमको अकेले

with a chimpanzee on some island,

चिँपाँजी के साथ कोई द्वीप मे रखते तो

the chimpanzee would do much better.

चिँपाँजी आप से बेहतर काम करेगा|

The real difference between humans and all other animals

असली फर्क मनुष्य और बाकी सारी जानवर के बीच

is not on the individual level;

अंतर व्यक्तिगत स्तर पर नहीँ है;

it's on the collective level.

बल्कि सामजिक स्तर पर है|

Humans control the planet because they are the only animals

मनुष्य धर्ती को काबू मे रख सकते है क्योँ कि वे सिर्फ ऐसी जानवर है

that can cooperate both flexibly and in very large numbers.

जो ज्यादा सँख्या मे सहयोग और लचील ढँग से मदद कर सकते हैँ|

Now, there are other animals --

अब, दूसरे जानवर है -

like the social insects, the bees, the ants --

जैसे कि समाजिक कीडे, मखियाँ, चीटियाँ --

that can cooperate in large numbers, but they don't do so flexibly.

जो ज्यादा सँख्या मे साथ देते हैं, पर इतना लचीले ढँग से नहीँ करते|

Their cooperation is very rigid.

उनका साथ देना कठिन हैं|

There is basically just one way in which a beehive can function.

मूल्र रूप से एक ही रास्ता है जिस तरीके से मधु मक्खी काम कर सकती हैँ|

And if there's a new opportunity or a new danger,

और अगर वहाँ कोई नया अवसर या नया खतरा हो,

the bees cannot reinvent the social system overnight.

मधु मक्खी समजिक व्यवस्था का पुन: कल्पना रातोँ रात नहीँ कर सकते|

They cannot, for example, execute the queen

उदाहरणार्थ, वो अपने राणी को फासि नहीं देसक्ते

and establish a republic of bees,

और एक राज्य का स्थापना नहीं कर सकते

or a communist dictatorship of worker bees.

या श्रामिक मक्कियो का तांशाही साम्यवादी नहीं बना सकते

Other animals, like the social mammals --

दूसरे जानवर जैसे सामाजिक स्थनधारियों

the wolves, the elephants, the dolphins, the chimpanzees --

भेदियों, हाथियों, दाल्फिंस, चिपांजीस --

they can cooperate much more flexibly,

वो ज्यादा लचीले ढंग से समर्थन देते हैं|

but they do so only in small numbers,

लेकिन वो ऐसे बहुत कम संख्या मे करते है,

because cooperation among chimpanzees

क्योंकि चिन्म्पांजियोँ में साथ देना

is based on intimate knowledge, one of the other.

उन दोनो को एक दूसरोँ को समझने पर है|

I'm a chimpanzee and you're a chimpanzee,

मै एक चिन्म्पांजी हूँ और तुम एक चिन्म्पांजी हो,

and I want to cooperate with you.

और मै तुम्हारे साथ मिलकर काम करना चाहता हूँ|

I need to know you personally.

मुझे तुम्हे व्यक्तिगत रूप से जानना जरूरी है|

What kind of chimpanzee are you?

किस तरह के चिम्पांजी हो तुम?

Are you a nice chimpanzee?

तुम एक अच्छा चिम्पांजी हो?

Are you an evil chimpanzee?

क्या तुम एक दुष्ट चिम्पांजी हो?

Are you trustworthy?

क्या तुम भरोसा के लायक हो?

If I don't know you, how can I cooperate with you?

अगर मै तुम्हे नही जानता मै तुम्हारे साथ कैसे दे सकता हूँ ?

The only animal that can combine the two abilities together

ऐसे एक हीं जानवर है जो इन दोनो क्षमतावो को मिला सकता है

and cooperate both flexibly and still do so in very large numbers

और लचीले ढंग से भी और ज्यादा संख्या मे भी साथ दे सकते है

is us, Homo sapiens.

वो है हम मानव जाती|

One versus one, or even 10 versus 10,

एक का एक ,या दस का दस,

chimpanzees might be better than us.

चिंपांजी हम से बेहतर हो सकते है|

But, if you pit 1,000 humans against 1,000 chimpanzees,

पर ,अगर तुम १००० लोग को १००० चिंपांजियों के सामने रखोगे तो,

the humans will win easily, for the simple reason

मानव आसानी से जीत जायेंगे, इसका कारण सरल है

that a thousand chimpanzees cannot cooperate at all.

कि १००० चिंपांजियों एक दूसरे के साथ नहीं दे सकते|

And if you now try to cram 100,000 chimpanzees

और अगर तुम १००,००० चिंपांजियों को एक साथ

into Oxford Street, or into Wembley Stadium,

ऑक्सफ़ोर्ड स्ट्र्रीट या वेम्ब्ले स्टेडियम

or Tienanmen Square or the Vatican,

या टियनानमें स्क्वेअर या व्हेटिकन मे ठूसना

you will get chaos, complete chaos.

तुम को पूरा अस्थ्व्यस्थता मिलेगि

Just imagine Wembley Stadium with 100,000 chimpanzees.

कल्पना करो १,००,००० चिंपांजियों से भरा वेम्ब्ले स्टेडियम को

Complete madness.

पूरा पागलपन मिलेगा

In contrast, humans normally gather there in tens of thousands,

इसके उलते मे लोग वहाँ हजारोँ मे इकट्टा होते हैँ,

and what we get is not chaos, usually.

और हमे आम तौर पर अस्वस्थता नहीँ मिलेगी|

What we get is extremely sophisticated and effective networks of cooperation.

हमे अत्यन्त सुविग्न और प्रभावी सहयोगी को नेटवर्क मिलेगा|

All the huge achievements of humankind throughout history,

मनुष्य चरित्रमे सभी बडे उपलब्धियँ

whether it's building the pyramids or flying to the moon,

यदी पिरमिड की निर्माण हो या चांद की यात्रा हो

have been based not on individual abilities,

व्यक्तिगत सामर्थ्य पर आधार नहीँ हैं,

but on this ability to cooperate flexibly in large numbers.

पर एक दूसरे की लचीले ढंग से मदद कर ने की ऊपर आधारित है|

Think even about this very talk that I'm giving now:

अब मै जो सम्भाषण दे रहा हूँ उसके बारे मे सोचिये:

I'm standing here in front of an audience of about 300 or 400 people,

मै यहाँ लगबग ३०० या ४०० श्रोताओँ के सामने खडा हूँ,

most of you are complete strangers to me.

तुम मे से ज्यादा लोग मेरे लिये बिलकुल अजनबी हो|

Similarly, I don't really know all the people who have organized

ऐसे ही मै उन लोगोँ को नहीँ जानता जो इसका इंतेजाम् किया

and worked on this event.

और इस कार्यक्रम के ऊपर काम किया|

I don't know the pilot and the crew members of the plane

मै पैलट और हवाइ जहाज की सभ्ययोँ को नहीं जानता

that brought me over here, yesterday, to London.

जो मुझे यहाँ लेके आये और कल लँडन को लेके गये|

I don't know the people who invented and manufactured

मै उन लोगोँ को नहीं जानता जो इस मैक्रोफोन और केमेरा का आविष्कार किये,

this microphone and these cameras, which are recording what I'm saying.

और् बना दिये जो इस वक्त मेरे बातोँ को रिकॉर्ड कर रहे है|

I don't know the people who wrote all the books and articles

मै उन लोगोँ को नहीँ जानता जो सब किताबेँ और लेख लिखे

that I read in preparation for this talk.

जो मै इस सँ भाषण के लिये तैयार होते हुये पढा था|

And I certainly don't know all the people

और मै उन सभी लोगोँ को बिलकुल भी नहीँ जानता

who might be watching this talk over the Internet,

जो नयी दिल्ली या ब्युनोस ऐरस् से

somewhere in Buenos Aires or in New Delhi.

इन्टरनेट पर ये संभाषण देख रहें होंगे|

Nevertheless, even though we don't know each other,

फिर भी हम एक दूसरे को ना जानते हुये भी

we can work together to create this global exchange of ideas.

हम इस विचारों का अदला बदली वैश्विक स्तर पे कर सकते है|

This is something chimpanzees cannot do.

ये सब कुच चिंपांजियों नहीँ कर सकते|

They communicate, of course,

वो बेशक संसूचित करते हैँ,

but you will never catch a chimpanzee traveling to some distant chimpanzee band

पर तुम एक चिंपांजी को कोई दूर की बैंड के लिये हाथियोँ या कोई और चीज

to give them a talk about bananas or about elephants,

जो चिंपांजियों को दिलचस्प लगे,

or anything else that might interest chimpanzees.

उसके बारे मे भाषण देने के लिये जाते हुये नहीँ देख सकते.

Now cooperation is, of course, not always nice;

अब साथ देना हमेशा अच्छी बात नहीं होती;

all the horrible things humans have been doing throughout history --

सभी दारूण चीज पूरी चरित्र मे मनुष्य जो कर रहे है --

and we have been doing some very horrible things --

और हम जो बहुत हीं गलत चीज जो हम कर रहे हैँ --

all those things are also based on large-scale cooperation.

वो सभी चीज भी बड़े पैमाने पर सहयोग पर आधारित है|

Prisons are a system of cooperation;

जैल एक तरफ के सहयोग है;

slaughterhouses are a system of cooperation;

बूचड़खाने भी एक सहयोग की प्रणाली है;

concentration camps are a system of cooperation.

कारा शिविर एक सहयोग की प्रणाली है|

Chimpanzees don't have slaughterhouses and prisons and concentration camps.

चिंपांजियों के पास बूचड़खाने, जैल और ,कारा शिविर नहीँ होते|

Now suppose I've managed to convince you perhaps that yes,

अब अगर मैने शायद आपको यकीन दिलाया कि हाँ,हम इस दुनिया को काबू मे कर सकते

we control the world because we can cooperate flexibly in large numbers.

क्योँकि हम एक दूसरे का समर्थन लचीले ढंग से बडी सँख्या मे करते हैँ|

The next question that immediately arises

अगला प्रश्न जो तुरंत उठता है

in the mind of an inquisitive listener is:

एक कुतूहली श्रोता के मन मे कि

How, exactly, do we do it?

हम ये कैसे करते हैँ?

What enables us alone, of all the animals, to cooperate in such a way?

पूरी जानवरोँ मे क्या है जो सिर्फ हमे योग्य बनाता है कि हम एक दूसरे की समर्थन कर सकते?

The answer is our imagination.

इसकी उत्तर है हमारी कल्पना शक्ती|

We can cooperate flexibly with countless numbers of strangers,

हम अनगिनत सँख्या मे अजनबियोँ की मदद कर सकते हैँ,

because we alone, of all the animals on the planet,

क्योँकि इस ग्रह के सारी जानवरोँ मे सिर्फ हम हैँ,

can create and believe fictions, fictional stories.

कुछ बना सकते हैँ, कल्पनावोँ, और कल्पनात्मक रचनावोँ को मानते हैँ|

And as long as everybody believes in the same fiction,

और जब तक सभी लोग उस कल्पना को मानते हैँ,

everybody obeys and follows the same rules,

सब लोग एक ही नियम,एक ही मानद्न्डोँ, और एक ही मूल्योँ

the same norms, the same values.

का अनुसरण करते है|

All other animals use their communication system

बाकी सब जानवर सिर्फ वास्तविकता का वर्णन करने के लिये अपनी संचार व्यवस्था

only to describe reality.

इस्तेमाल करते हैँ|

A chimpanzee may say, "Look! There's a lion, let's run away!"

एक चिंपांजी कह सकता है "देखो! वहाँ एक शेर है ,चलो हम भागते हैँ!"

Or, "Look! There's a banana tree over there! Let's go and get bananas!"

या,"देखो! वहाँ एक केले की पेढ है ! आओ हम चले और केले लाये"

Humans, in contrast, use their language not merely to describe reality,

मनुष्य उसके विपरीत ,अपने भाषा सिर्फ सच का विवरण देने के लिये ही नहीं

but also to create new realities, fictional realities.

बल्कि नया सच ,सच की कल्पना करने के लिये भी इस्तेमाल करते है|

A human can say, "Look, there is a god above the clouds!

एक मनुष्य ये बोल सकता "देखो, बादल के ऊपर वहाँ एक भगवान है"

And if you don't do what I tell you to do,

और मै ने जो बोला अगर तुम वो नहीं करोगे,

when you die, God will punish you and send you to hell."

जब तुम मरोगे,भगवान तुम्हे दँड देगा और नरक मे भेजेगा|

And if you all believe this story that I've invented,

और अगर तुम सब मेरे इस कहाँनी, जो मै ने बनाया,पर यकीन करोगे

then you will follow the same norms and laws and values,

तब तुम मानदंडों और कानूनों और मूल्यों का पालन करोगे,

and you can cooperate.

और तुम अपना सहयोग दे सकते|

This is something only humans can do.

ये सिर्फ मनुष्य ही कर सकता है|

You can never convince a chimpanzee to give you a banana

तुम एक चिंपांजी को कभी तुम्हे एक केला देने के लिए नहीँ मना सकते

by promising him, "... after you die, you'll go to chimpanzee heaven ..."

ये वादा कर्ते हुए कि "तुम जब मरोगे तो तुम चिँपाँजियोँ का स्वर्ग जाओगे..."

(Laughter)

(हँसी)

"... and you'll receive lots and lots of bananas for your good deeds.

"... और तुम्हे बहुत सारे केले मिलेँगे तुम्हारी अच्छे कामोँ के लिए|

So now give me this banana."

इसलिए मुझे अब ये केला दे दो|"

No chimpanzee will ever believe such a story.

कोई चिंपांजी कभी भी ये कहानी पर यकीन नहीँ करेग|

Only humans believe such stories,

सिर्फ़ मनुष्य ही ऐसे कहानियों पर यकीन करते हैँ|

which is why we control the world,

इसीलिए हम इस दुनिया पर काबू पा लिए

whereas the chimpanzees are locked up in zoos and research laboratories.

लेकिन चिंपांजी चिडियघरोँ और अनुसंधान प्रयोगशालाओं मेँ ताले के पीछे है|

Now you may find it acceptable that yes,

अब तुम ये मानलोगे कि हाँ,

in the religious field, humans cooperate by believing in the same fictions.

आध्यात्मिक क्षेत्र मेँ मनुष्य एक ही कल्पना मे यकीन कर एक दूसरे की समर्थन करते हैँ|

Millions of people come together to build a cathedral or a mosque

लाखोँ मे लोग इकट्टे होते है एक बडा गिरजा या मस्जीद का निर्माण करने के लिए

or fight in a crusade or a jihad, because they all believe in the same stories

या जिहाद या धर्मयुद्ध मे लडने के लिए क्योँ कि वे सबलोग एक ही कहानी मे यकीन करते हैँ|

about God and heaven and hell.

जो भगवान, स्वर्ग और नरक के बारे मे हैँ|

But what I want to emphasize is that exactly the same mechanism

पर मै जिस पर जोर देना चाह्ता हूँ वह ये है कि मनुष्य की दूसरे भडी समर्थन मे भी

underlies all other forms of mass-scale human cooperation,

ये ही काम करता है

not only in the religious field.

ना कि सिर्फ आध्यात्मिक क्षेत्र|

Take, for example, the legal field.

उदाहरणार्थ, न्याय व्यवस्था मेँ देखिए,

Most legal systems today in the world are based on a belief in human rights.

ज्यादातर न्याय व्यवस्थाएँ आज दुनिया मेँ मानव हक मेँ यकीन रखने पर आधारित हैँ|

But what are human rights?

लेकिन मानव हक क्या हैँ?

Human rights, just like God and heaven, are just a story that we've invented.

मानव हक, सिर्फ एक कहानी है, जो हमने कल्पना की जैसे कि भगवान और स्वर्ग को.

They are not an objective reality;

वह तो वस्तुगत सच्चाई नहीँ हैँ|

they are not some biological effect about homo sapiens.

ये कुछ होमो सेपियन्स के बारे मेँ जैविक प्रभाव नहीँ हैँ|

Take a human being, cut him open, look inside,

एक मनुष्य को काटो, खोलो, अंदर देखो,

you will find the heart, the kidneys, neurons, hormones, DNA,

तुमको दिल, किड्नी, न्यूराँन्स, हारमोन, डी एन ए,

but you won't find any rights.

लेकिन तुम्हेँ कोई हक नहीँ दिखेगा|

The only place you find rights are in the stories

ये हक कहानियोँ मेँ ही खोज कर सकते है

that we have invented and spread around over the last few centuries.

जो हमलोगोँ ने, अविष्कार किया और पिछले कुछ शताब्दोँ मेँ विस्तार किया|

They may be very positive stories, very good stories,

ओ बहुत सकारात्मक कहानियाँ, बहुत अच्छे कहानियाँ,

but they're still just fictional stories that we've invented.

पर ओ भी कल्पनात्मक रचनाएँ जो हमने आविष्कार किया है|

The same is true of the political field.

ये बात राजकीय क्षेत्र मेँ भी लागू होती है,

The most important factors in modern politics are states and nations.

आधुनिक राजकीय मेँ राष्ट्र और देश दो बहुत ही खास कारक है|

But what are states and nations?

पर राष्ट्र और देश क्या हैँ?

They are not an objective reality.

ओ वस्तुगत सच्चाई नहीँ है|

A mountain is an objective reality.

ये पर्वत वस्तुगत सच्चाई है|

You can see it, you can touch it, you can even smell it.

आप उसको देख सकते, आप उसको छू सकते, आप उसको कभी सूँघ सकते|

But a nation or a state,

लेकिन एक देश या एक राष्ट्र

like Israel or Iran or France or Germany,

जैसे इज्राइल,या इरान,या फ्रांस या जर्मनी,

this is just a story that we've invented

ये एक कहानी है जो हम ने आविश्कार किया

and became extremely attached to.

और उसके साथ हम अत्यंत जुड गए

The same is true of the economic field.

आर्थिक क्षेत्र मे भी समान सूत्र चलता है|

The most important actors today in the global economy

विश्व अर्थव्यवस्था मे महत्व पूर्ण आज हैँ

are companies and corporations.

कंपनियों और निगमों

Many of you today, perhaps, work for a corporation,

आज तुम मे से ज्यादा लोग शायद कोई निगमोँ के लिये काम करते होंगे

like Google or Toyota or McDonald's.

जैसे गूगल,या टोयोटा या मैक डोनाल्ड्स

What exactly are these things?

असल मे ये सब चीज क्या हैँ?

They are what lawyers call legal fictions.

ओ जिन्हे वकील न्याय कल्पना बुलाते हैँ|

They are stories invented and maintained

ओ कथायेँ शक्तिशाली मेधावी जिसको हम वकील कहते हैँ

by the powerful wizards we call lawyers.

से आविष्कार किया गया और बनाए रखा|

(Laughter)

(हँसी)

And what do corporations do all day?

और निगम क्या करते है ?

Mostly, they try to make money.

ज्यादातर ओ पैसे बनाने की सोचते हैँ|

Yet, what is money?

मगर येपैसे क्या है ?

Again, money is not an objective reality; it has no objective value.

फिर से,पैसे एक वस्तुगत सच्चाई नही है ,उस्को कोई वस्तुगत मूल्य नही है

Take this green piece of paper, the dollar bill.

एक हरा कागज का तुकडा ,डॉलर बिल लेलो

Look at it -- it has no value.

उस्की तरफ देखो,उसका कोई मूल्य नही है

You cannot eat it, you cannot drink it,

तुम उसको नही खा सकते तुम उसको नही पी सकते,

you cannot wear it.

तुम उसको नही पहन सकते

But then came along these master storytellers --

पर तब आये उसके साथ ये उस्ताद कहानीकारों

the big bankers,

बड़े बैंकरों,

the finance ministers,

वित्त मंत्रियों,

the prime ministers --

प्रधान मंत्रियों --

and they tell us a very convincing story:

और ओ बहुत ही कायल कहानियाँ बता ते हैँ

"Look, you see this green piece of paper?

"देखो तुम ये कागज़ का टुकडा देखते हो?

It is actually worth 10 bananas."

ये असल मे 10 केले के लायक है"

And if I believe it, and you believe it,

और अगर मै उसको मानता हूँ, तुम मानते हो,

and everybody believes it,

और सबलोग इसको मानते हैँ

it actually works.

ये सचमुच काम करेगा

I can take this worthless piece of paper,

मै इस कागज के बेकार टुकड़ा ले सकता हूँ

go to the supermarket,

सूपर मार्केट जा सकता हूँ,

give it to a complete stranger whom I've never met before,

एक पूरा अजनबी ,जिसे मै इस के पहले कभी मिला नही को दे सकता हू

and get, in exchange, real bananas which I can actually eat.

और उसके बदले मे मिलेगा असली केले जिसको मै खा सकता हूँ|

This is something amazing.

ये कुछ अद्भुत है|

You could never do it with chimpanzees.

तुम चिन्म्पांजीस के साथ ये कभी नही कर सकते

Chimpanzees trade, of course:

चिन्म्पांजीस बेशक लेनदेन करते हैँ

"Yes, you give me a coconut, I'll give you a banana."

"हाँ,तुम मुझे एक नारियल देदो ,मै तुम्हे एक केला दूंगा"

That can work.

ओ काम कर सकता है

But, you give me a worthless piece of paper

पर तुम मुझे एक् कागज के बेकार टुकड़ा दो

and you except me to give you a banana?

और तुम मुझे एक केला देने की आशा करते हो

No way!

बिलकुल नहीं!

What do you think I am, a human?

तुम क्या सोचते हो मै एक मानव हूँ?

Money, in fact, is the most successful story

पैसे असल में अत्यन्त सफल कहानी है

ever invented and told by humans,

जो कभी मनुष्य द्वारा आविष्कार और कहा गया

because it is the only story everybody believes.

क्योंकी ये ही एक कहानी है जिसमे हर कोई विश्वास रखता है|

Not everybody believes in God,

हर कोई भगवान मे विश्वास नही रखता,

not everybody believes in human rights,

He hated American politics and American religion

We humans control the world because we live in a dual reality.

Their reality consists of objective entities,

like rivers and trees and lions and elephants.

We humans, we also live in an objective reality.

हम मनुष्य, हम भी वस्तुगत सच्चाई मेँ जीते हैँ|

In our world, too, there are rivers and trees and lions and elephants.

But over the centuries,

पर शताब्दों बीतने पर,

we have constructed on top of this objective reality

a second layer of fictional reality,

a reality made of fictional entities,

like nations, like gods, like money, like corporations.

And what is amazing is that as history unfolded,

this fictional reality became more and more powerful

so that today, the most powerful forces in the world

are these fictional entities.

depends on the decisions and wishes of fictional entities,

of the 21st century will be,

प्रश्न ये है कि,

"What do we need humans for?",

"हमें इंसानों की जरूरत क्या हैं?",

or at least, "What do we need so many humans for?"

या तो कम से कम " हमें इतने सारे मनुष्यों की जरूरतें क्या हैं?"

YNH: At present, the best guess we have is to keep them happy
