by watching Jimmy Page on YouTube.

Usman Riaz: Yes, that was the first one. And then I --

ئوسمان ڕیاز: بەلێ، ئەو ئێکەم تشت بی. --

That was the first thing I learned,

ئەو ئێکەم تشت بی ئەز فێربیم،

and then I started progressing to other things.

و پشتی ھینگێ من دەستپێکر ب دویف چوونا ھندەک تشتێن دیتر.

And I started watching Kaki King a lot,

و من دەستپێکر ب ،گەلەک بەرێخودانا کاکی کینگ

and she would always cite Preston Reed as a big influence,

و ئەو ژی دا ھەر ئاماژێ ب پرێستون ریید دت وەک کاریگەرێ ھەرە مەزن،

so then I started watching his videos,

ژبەر ھندێ من دەستپێکر ب ،بەرێخودانا ڤیدیویێن وی

and it's very surreal right now to be --

و براستی نوکە وەک خەیالەکێ یە --لنک من کو ئەز

CA: Was that piece just now,

ک.ئ: ئەرێ ئەو پارچا ژبەری نوکە،

that was one of his songs that you learned, or how did that happen?

ئەرێ ئەو ئێک ژ کار و بەرھەمێن وی یە تو فێربی؟

UR: I'd never learned it before,

ئ.ڕ: ئەز چجار فێری وێ نەبویمە ژبەری نوکە،

but he told me that we would be playing that on stage,

بەلێ ئەوی گووتە من کو دێ پێکڤە لسەر دەپێ شانوویێ ژەنین،

so I was familiar with it, so that's why I had so much more fun learning it.

ژبەر ھندێ ئەز پێ ئاگەھ بویمە، و من حەز ژوێ پارچێ کریە دەمێ فێربوویمێ.

And it finally happened, so ...

و لدووماھیێ بجھ ھات، ژبەرھندێ...

CA: Preston, from your point of view,

ک،ئ: بریستون، ب دییتنا تە،

I mean, you invented this like 20 years ago, right?

مەبەستا من، تە ژبەری 20 سالان ئەڤە یێ داھێنای، ڕاستە؟

How does it feel to see someone like this

come along taking your art and doing so much with it?

Preston Reed: It's mind-blowing,

ڕید بریستون: براستی ئەو تشتەک عەجێبە،

and I feel really proud, really honored.

And he's a wonderful musician, so it's cool.

PR: We haven't prepared anything.

ب.ڕ: مە چ ئامادە نەکریە.

CA: There isn't. I'll tell you what.

ک.ئ: نینە. ئەز دێ تشتەکێ بێژمە وە .

If you have another 30 or 40 seconds,

ئەگەر تە 30 یان 40 چرکەیێن دی ھەبن،

and you have another 30 or 40 seconds,

و وە 30 یان 40 چرکەیێن ھەین

and we just see that, I just think --

و ئەم دبینین، ئەز دبێژم --

I can feel it. We want to hear a little more.

ئەز ھەست پێدکم، مە دڤێت ئەم ھێشتا ئاگەھداریا مۆزیکا وە بکین.

And if it goes horribly wrong, no worries.
