No one was a hero. No one was a hero.

هیچکس قهرمان نبود. هیچکس قهرمان نبود.

Because everyone was a hero.

زیرا همه قهرمان بودند.

Everyone has done something.

هرکسی کاری انجام داد.

We all use Wikipedia.

همه ما از ویکی پدیا استفاده میکنیم.

If you think of the concept of Wikipedia

اگر شما به مبنای ویکی پدیا فکر کنید

where everyone is collaborating on content,

در جایی که همه در مطلب مشارکت دارند.

and at the end of the day

و در پایان روز

you've built the largest encyclopedia in the world.

شما بزرگترین دانشنامه دنیا را ساخته اید.

From just an idea that sounded crazy,

you have the largest encyclopedia in the world.

And in the Egyptian revolution,

the Revolution 2.0,

everyone has contributed something,

small or big. They contributed something --

to bring us

one of the most inspiring stories

It was actually really inspiring

این بواقع تاثیر گذار بود که

to see all these Egyptians completely changing.

ببینید مصریان کملاً تغییر کرده اند.

If you look at the scene,

اگر به صحنه نگاه کنید،

Egypt, for 30 years, had been in a downhill --

مصر در ۳۰ سال گذشته در ...

going into a downhill.

سرازیری به پیش می رفت.

Everything was going bad.

که همه چیز داشت خرتب ميشد.

Everything was going wrong.

همه چیز غلط بود.

We only ranked high when it comes to poverty,

ما وقتی بالاترین رتبه ها را کسب می کردیم که صحبت از فقر بود،

corruption,

فساد ،

lack of freedom of speech,

فقدان آزادی بیان،

lack of political activism.

فقدان فعالان سیاسی.

Those were the achievements

و اینها موادی بود که...

of our great regime.

رژیم بزرگ ما بدست آورده بود.

Yet, nothing was happening.

هنوز هیچ اتفاقی نیافتاده بود.

And it's not because people were happy

نه به این خاطر که مردم خوشحال بودند

or people were not frustrated.

یا مردم نا امید نشده بودند.

In fact, people were extremely frustrated.

در حقیقت مردم بسیار ناامید بودند.

But the reason why everyone was silent

اما دلیلی که همه ساکت بودند

is what I call the psychological barrier of fear.

چیزی هست كه من اسمش رو مانع رواني ترس مي گذارم.

Everyone was scared.

همه ترسیده بودند.

Not everyone. There were actually a few brave Egyptians

اما نه همه . در واقع چند مصری شجاع بودند که...

that I have to thank for being so brave --

من باید بخاطر شجاعتشون تشکر کنم--

going into protests as a couple of hundred,

در تظاهراتی -در حدود چند صد نفر نفر -

getting beaten up and arrested.

کتک خوردن و بازداشت شدن.

But in fact, the majority were scared.

اما در حقیقت عمده مردم ترسیده بودند.

Everyone did not want really

هیچکس نمی خواست که

to get in trouble.

تو دردسر بیافتد.

A dictator cannot live without the force.

یک دیکتاتور بدون قدرت زنده نیست.

They want to make people live in fear.

آنها می خواستند که مردم در ترس زندگی کنند.

And that psychological barrier of fear

وآن مانع رواني ترس

had worked for so many years,

برای سالها نتيجه ميداد،

and here comes the Internet,

و آنگاه اینترنت وارد شد،

technology, BlackBerry, SMS.

It's helping all of us to connect.

Platforms like YouTube, Twitter, Facebook

were helping us a lot

because it basically gave us the impression that, "Wow, I'm not alone.

There are a lot of people who are frustrated."

بسیاری ديگر هم نااميد هستند."

There are lots of people who are frustrated.

بسیاری از مردم ناامید شده بودند.

There are lots of people who actually share the same dream.

بسیاری ازمردم به واقع در رویایی مشابه به سر می بردند.

There are lots of people who care about their freedom.

هنوز بسیاری از مردم برای آزادیشان اهمیت قائل بودند.

They probably have the best life in the world.

احتمالا مردم بهترین زندگی در دنیا را داشتند.

They are living in happiness. They are living in their villas.

آنها در شادیشان زندگی می کردند. انها در ویلاهایشان زندگی می کردند.

They are happy. They don't have problems.

آنها خوشحال بودند . آنها مشکلی نداشتند.

But they are still feeling the pain of the Egyptian.

ولی آنها درد مصریان را احساس می کردند.

A lot of us, we're not really happy

بسیاری ازما به واقع خوشحال نیستیم

when we see a video of an Egyptian man

زمانی که ویدئوی مرد مصری را می دیدیم...

who's eating the trash

که در حال خوردن آشغال بود

while others are stealing

در زمانی که بقیه

billions of Egyptian pounds

ميلياردها پوند مصری

from the wealth of the country.

از سرمایهای کشور را مي دزديدند.

The Internet has played a great role,

اینترنت نقش بزرگی بازی کرد

helping these people to speak up their minds,

به این مردم کمک کرد افکارشان را بیان کنند

to collaborate together, to start thinking together.

برای همکاری مشترک، برای با هم فکر کردن

It was an educational campaign.

يك جو دوره ى آموزشى بود.

Khaled Saeed was killed

خالد سعید کشته شد

in June 2010.

در ژوئن ۲۰۱۰.

I still remember the photo.

من همچنان تصاویر را بخاطر دارم

I still remember every single detail of that photo.

من همچنان جزئیات آن عکس را بخاطر دارم

The photo was horrible.

آن عکس وحشتناک بود

He was tortured,

او شکنجه شده بود

brutally tortured to death.

وحشیانه تا سر حد مرگ شکنجه شده بود

But then what was the answer of the regime?

اما پاسخ رژیم چه بود؟

"He choked on a pile of hash" --

او در توده ای از هش خفه شده.

that was their answer:

و این پاسخ آنها بود:

"He's a criminal.

" او یک مجرم بود.

He's someone who escaped from all these bad things."

او کسی بود که از تمام چیزهای بد فرار کرد.

But people did not relate to this.

اما مردم به این ربطش ندادند.

People did not believe this.

مردم این را باور نداشتند

Because of the Internet, the truth prevailed

بخاطر اینترنت ، واقعیت چیره گشت

and everyone knew the truth.

و همه کس واقعیت را میدانستند

And everyone started to think that "this guy could be my brother."

و همه شروع کردن به فکر کردن که این شخص ممکن بود برادر من می بود

He was a middle-class guy.

او یک فرد از طبقه متوسط بود

His photo was remembered by all of us.

تصویر اوتوسط همه ما به خاطر سپرده شده

A page was created.

یک صفحه ایجاد شد.

An anonymous administrator

یک مدیر ناشناس

was basically inviting people to join the page,

که مردم را دعوت به پیوستن به این صفحه کرد

and there was no plan.

و هیچ برنامه ای نبود

"What are we going to do?" "I don't know."

چکاری می خواستیم بکنیم؟ من نمیدانم

In a few days, tens of thousands of people there --

angry Egyptians

مصریان عصبانی ...

who were asking the ministry of interior affairs,

"Enough.

Get those who killed this guy.

کسانی که این فرد را کشتند را بگیرید

To just bring them to justice."

But of course, they don't listen.

و البته آنها توجه نکردند

It was an amazing story --

how everyone started feeling the ownership.

Everyone was an owner in this page.

People started contributing ideas.

In fact, one of the most ridiculous ideas

was, "Hey, let's have a silent stand.

این بود که مردم اعتراض خیابانی خاموش داشته باشند

Let's get people to go in the street,

بزارید مردم به خیابان بیایند

face the sea, their back to the street,

dressed in black, standing up silently for one hour,

doing nothing and then just leaving,

For some people, that was like, "Wow, silent stand.

People were making fun of the idea.

But actually when people went to the street --

the first time it was thousands of people

in Alexandria --

it felt like -- it was amazing. It was great

احساس لذت بخشی داشت - باشکوه بود

because it connected people from the virtual world,

چونکه مردم را به هم متصل کرده بود از یک دنیای مجازی ،

bringing them to the real world,

که به دنیای واقعی آورده شده بودند

sharing the same dream,

یک رویای مشترک داشتند

the same frustration, the same anger,

با یک ناامیدی و یک عصبانیت

the same desire for freedom.

And they were doing this thing.

But did the regime learn anything? Not really.

They were actually attacking them.

They were actually abusing them,

despite the fact of how peaceful these guys were --

they were not even protesting.

And things had developed

until the Tunisian revolution.

This whole page was, again,

managed by the people.

In fact, the anonymous admin job

was to collect ideas,

help people to vote on them

and actually tell them what they are doing.

People were taking shots and photos;

مردم فیلم و ویدئو می گرفتند

people were reporting violations of human rights in Egypt;

مردم نقض حقوق بشر در مصر را گزارش می کردند

people were suggesting ideas,

در حقیفت مردم ایده ها را می دادند

they were actually voting on ideas,

به ایده ها، رای میدادند

and then they were executing the ideas; people were creating videos.

و ایده هارا اجرایی می کردند؛ مردم ویدیو می ساختند

Everything was done by the people to the people,

همه چیز توسط مردم برای مردم انجام میشد

and that's the power of the Internet.

و آن قدرت اینترنت بود

There was no leader.

هیچ رهبری نبود

The leader was everyone on that page.

رهبر تمام مردم در آن صفحه بودند

The Tunisian experiment, as Amir was saying,

تجربه ى تونسي ها ، همان گونه که امیر گفت

inspired all of us, showed us that there is a way.

بر همه ما تاثیر گذاشت و به ما نشان داد که یک راهی هست

Yes we can. We can do it.

بله ما میتوانیم، ما میتوانیم انجام بدهیم

We have the same problems;

ما مشکلی مشترک داریم

we can just go in the streets.

ما فقط میتوانیم به خیابان برویم

And when I saw the street on the 25th,

و زمانی که من خیابان ها را در ۲۵ ام دیدم

I went back and said,

برگشتم و گفتم،

"Egypt before the 25th

مصر قبل از ۲۵ ام

is never going to be Egypt after the 25th.

هیچگاه مصر بعد از ۲۵ ام نخواهد بود

The revolution is happening.

انقلاب اتقاق افتاده

This is not the end,

و پایانی نیست

this is the beginning of the end."

و این آغازی برای پایان است."

I was detained on the 27th night.

من در شب ۲۷ ام بازداشت شدم

Thank God I announced the locations and everything.

متشکرم از خدا ، زیرا من مکانها و همه چیز را اعلام كرده بودم.

But they detained me.

اما آنها من را بازداشت کردند

And I'm not going to talk about my experience, because this is not about me.

من نمی حواهم درباره تجربه خودم صحبت کنم ، زیرا موضوع من نيست.

I was detained for 12 days,

من برای ۱۲ روز بازداشت شدم

blindfolded, handcuffed.

چشم بسته و دست بسته

And I did not really hear anything. I did not know anything.

I was not allowed to speak with anyone.

من اجازه صحبت با کسی را نداشتم

And I went out.

و من بیرون آمدم

The next day I was in Tahrir.

روز بعد من در تحریر بودم.

Seriously, with the amount of change I had noticed in this square,

به واقع با این همه تغییرات که من در این میدان دیدم

I thought it was 12 years.

فکر کردم ۱۲ سال گذشته است.

I never had in my mind

من تصور نمی کردم

to see this Egyptian,

که این مصر را ببینم

the amazing Egyptian.

این مصر فوق العاده

The fear is no longer fear.

ديگر ترس، ترس نبود.

It's actually strength -- it's power.

در عوض قوت بود-- قدرت بود.

People were so empowered.

مردم خیلی قدرتمند شده بودند

It was amazing how everyone was so empowered

این فوق العاده بود که همه قوی شده بودند

and now asking for their rights.

و اکنون حقوقشون را درخواست می کردند

Completely opposite.

کاملاَ مخالفش

Extremism became tolerance.

تندرو ها معتدل شده بودند

Who would [have] imagined before the 25th,

چه کسی قبل از ۲۵ ام این را تصور می کرد

if I tell you that hundreds of thousands of Christians are going to pray

که من بگم صدها هزار مسیحی برای دعا رفتند

and tens of thousands of Muslims are going to protect them,

و صدها هزار مسلمان از آنها حمایت کردند

and then hundreds of thousands of Muslims are going to pray

و بعد صدها هزار مسلمان برای دعا رفتند

and tens of thousands of Christians are going to protect them --

و صدها هزار مسیحی از آنها حمایت کردند

this is amazing.

این فوق العاده است.

All the stereotypes

تمام کلیشه هایی که ...

that the regime was trying to put on us

رژیم تلاش کرده بود به ما غالب کند

through their so-called propaganda, or mainstream media,

در تمام تبلیغات یا هجمه گسترده رسانه ای

are proven wrong.

ثابت شدند که اشتباه بودند

This whole revolution showed us

تمام این انقلاب به ما نشان داد...

how ugly such a regime was

که رژیم چقدر کریه بود

and how great and amazing

و چقدر بزرگ و فوق العاده بودند...

the Egyptian man, the Egyptian woman,

مردان و زنان مصری

how simple and amazing these people are

چه ساده و فوق العاده بودند این مردم

whenever they have a dream.

هرزمان که آنها رویایی داشتند

When I saw that,

زمانی که من می دیدمش

I went back and I wrote on Facebook.

من برگشتم و در فیس بوک نوشتم

And that was a personal belief,

و آن یک باور فردی بود

regardless of what's going on,

بی توجه به آنچه که می گذشت

regardless of the details.

بی توجه به جزییات

I said that, "We are going to win.

من می گفتم " ما پیروز می شویم "

We are going to win because we don't understand politics.

ما پیروز می شویم زیرا ما از سیاست اطلاعی نداریم

We're going to win because we don't play their dirty games.

ما پیروز می شویم زیرا بازی های کثیفشان را بازی نمی کنیم

We're going to win because we don't have an agenda.

ما پیروز می شویم زیرا ما اولویت بندی نداشتیم

We're going to win because the tears that come from our eyes

ما پیروز می شویم زیرا اشکانی که از چشمانمان سرازیر شدند

actually come from our hearts.

در واقع از قلبمان نشات می گرفتند

We're going to win because we have dreams.

ما پیروز می شویم زیرا ما رویایی داشتیم

We're going to win because we are willing to stand up for our dreams."

ما پیروز می شویم زیرا ما می خواستیم برای رویایمان بیاستیم

And that's actually what happened. We won.

و آنچه که اتفاق افتاد آن بود كه، ما بـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــردیـــــــــــــــــــــــــم

And that's not because of anything,

و آن بخاطر چیزی نبود جز

but because we believed in our dream.

رویایی که ما باور داشتیم.

The winning here is not

پیروزی اینجا چیزی نيست

the whole details of what's going to happen in the political scene.

كه در جزئيات صحنه سياسي قرار است اتفاق بيفتد.

The winning is the winning of the dignity

پیروزی ، پیروزی شأنِ

of every single Egyptian.

تک تک مصریان است

Actually, I had this taxi driver telling me,

در واقع ، من از راننده تاکسی شنیدم که ،

"Listen, I am breathing freedom.

"گوش کن ، من آزادی را نفس می کشم

I feel that I have dignity

من حس میکنم برای خودم شأنی دارم

that I have lost for so many years."

که من سالیان آن را گم کرده بودم "

For me that's winning,

برای من اين پيروزى است،

regardless of all the details.

بی توجه به جزییات

My last word to you is a statement I believe in,

آخرین جمله من برای شما این مطلب است که من باورش دارم

which Egyptians have proven to be true,

که مصریان این واقعیت را به واقع ثابت کردند که

that the power of the people

قدرت مردم

is much stronger than the people in power.

بسیار قوی تر از افراد در قدرت است.
