Chris Milk: How virtual reality can create the ultimate empathy machine

Virtual reality started for me in sort of an unusual place.

I went to art school.

Let's talk about film now.

Film, it's an incredible medium,

But I started thinking about,

So this is called "The Wilderness Downtown."

And out of it starts growing these little boxes with different browser windows.

And you see this teenager running down a street,

So now I've got you inside of the frame,

But then I started thinking about frames, and what do they represent?
