to one of the most amazing scientists

His name has been lost in history,

but here is what he did.

Alexander Von Humboldt started as a practicing geologist,

For example, Von Humboldt was the first explorer

Until Humboldt, scientists who described new plants and animals

he is considered the founder of biogeography.

He also developed a theory called the "Unity of Nature,"
