Let's play a game.

It starts with a coin showing heads,

But what is a quantum computer?

Well, quantum physics describes

the behavior of atoms and fundamental particles,

So a quantum computer operates

So a quantum computer is not just a more powerful version

So how did it achieve this amazing winning streak?

Here's how it works.

The key idea here

So future large-scale quantum simulations for drug development

could perhaps lead to treatments for diseases like Alzheimer's,

which affects thousands of lives.

And thirdly, my favorite quantum application

is teleportation of information from one location to another

အချက်အလက်တွေကို တစ်နေရာမှ တစ်နေရာသို့ အလိုအလျောက် ပို့ပေးခြင်းပါပဲ၊

without physically transmitting the information.

အချက်အလက်တွေကို ရုပ်ပိုင်အရာ ပို့ပေးရန်တောင် လိုမှာ မဟုတ်ပါ။

Sounds like sci-fi, but it is possible,

သိပ္ပံဝတ္ထုနဲ့တူသလို ထင်ရပေမဲ့ ဖြစ်နိုင်ပါတယ်၊

because these fluid identities of the quantum particles

ခုနက ကွမ်တမ်မှုန်တွေရဲ့ အရည်ဆိုင်ရာ လက္ခဏာတွေဟာ

can get entangled across space and time

ငြိပါလျက် အာကာသနဲ့ အချိန်ကိုဖြတ်နိုင်စွမ်း ရှိကြပုံဟာ

in such a way that when you change something about one particle,

it can impact the other,

and that creates a channel for teleportation.

It's already been demonstrated in research labs

and could be part of a future quantum internet.

We don't have such a network as yet,

but my team is working on these possibilities,

by simulating a quantum network on a quantum computer.

So we have designed and implemented some interesting new protocols

ကျုပ်တို့ဟာ စိတ်ဝင်စားစရာ ကောင်းတဲ့ ပရိုတိုကော အသစ်တွေ ပြုစု ကျင့်သုံးနေကြရာ

such as teleportation among different users in the network

and efficient data transmission

ထိရောက်တဲ့ ဒေတာလွှဲပြောင်းမှုတို့

and even secure voting.

So it's a lot of fun for me, being a quantum physicist.

ဒီတော့ ကျွန်မလို ကွမ်တမ်ရူပဗေဒ ပညာရှင် အတွက် ပျော်စရာတွေအများကြီးပါပဲ။

We must tread carefully and responsibly

as we build our quantum future.

And for me, personally,

I don't see quantum physics as a tool just to build quantum computers.

ကွမ်တမ်ရူပဗေဒကို ကွမ်တမ်ကွန်ပျူတာတွေ ထုတ်လုပ်ရေး ကိရိယာလို မမြင်ပါဘူး။

I see quantum computers as a way for us to probe the mysteries of nature

ကွမ်တမ်ကွန်ပျူတာတွေဟာဖြင့် အနာဂတ်ရဲ့ လျှို့ဝှက်ချက်တွေကို ဖေါ်ထုတ်ရန်နဲ့

and reveal more about this hidden world outside of our experiences.

ကျုပ်တို့ မသိကြရသေးတဲ့ အပြင်မှာ ရှိနေတဲ့ ကမ္ဘာကြီးကို ပိုဖေါ်ထုတ်ရန် နည်းလမ်းပါ။

How amazing that we humans,

ကျုပ်တို့ လူသားတွေဟာ စကြာဝဌာကို

with our relatively limited access to the universe,

စူးစမ်းရာမှာ ကန်သတ်ချက်တွေ ရှိနေတာတောင်

can still see far beyond our horizons

ကျုပ်တို့ရဲ့ စိတ်ကူးနဲ့ ထိုးဖောက် ဉာဏ်ကို သုံးပြီး

မိုးကုပ်စက်ဝိုင်း ကျော်ပြီး ကြည့်နိုင် စွမ်း ရှိကြတာ အံ့အားသင့်စရာကြီးပါ။

just using our imagination and our ingenuity.

And the universe rewards us

ဒီနေရာမှာ စကြာဝဌာကလည်း ကျုပ်တို့ကို ၎င်းရဲ့ မယုံနိုင်စရာတွေ

by showing us how incredibly interesting and surprising it is.

စိတ်ဝင်စားစရာတွေကို ဖွင့်ပြခြင်းဖြင့် ကျုပ်တို့ ဆုချီးမြှင့်ပေးပါတယ်။

The future is fundamentally uncertain,

အနာဂတ်ဟာ လုံးဝကို မရေရာပေမဲ့

and to me, that is certainly exciting.
