It really makes a difference what we say.

ကျွန်တော်တို့ ပြောလိုက်ပုံဟာ တကယ့်ကို အရေးပါပါတယ်။

I learned this from a woman who survived Auschwitz.

Auschwitz မှာ ရှင်ကျန်ခဲ့သူ အမျိုးသမီး တစ်ဦးဆီကနေ သိလာခဲ့ရတာပါ။

She went to Auschwitz when she was fifteen years old,

သူဟာ အသက် ၁၅ နှစ်မှာ Auschwitz ကို သွားခဲ့ပြီး

and her brother was eight, and the parents were lost.

သူ့မောင်လေးက ၅ နှစ်၊ မိဘတွေက ပျောက်နေတယ်။

And she told me this,

သူ ကျွန်တော့ကို ပြောခဲ့တာက

"We were in the train going to Auschwitz,

"ကျွန်မတို့က Auschwitz ကို သွားတဲ့ ရထားပေါ်မှာပါ။

and I looked down, and I saw my brother's shoes were missing.

ကျွန်မ ငုံ့ကြည့်တော့ မောင်လေးရဲ့ ဖိနပ်တွေပျောက်နေတယ်

And I said, 'Why are you so stupid?

ကျွန်မက ဘာလို့ အဲလောက်မိုက်ရတာလဲ၊

Can't you keep your things together?

ပစ္စည်းတွေ ကိုယ်နဲ့အတူ မထားနိုင်ဘူးလား၊

For goodness sake!'

ဖြစ်မှ ဖြစ်ရလေဟယ်'တဲ့။

The way an elder sister might speak to a younger brother."

အစ်မကြီးဖြစ်သူက သူ့မောင်ငယ်ကို ပြောလောက်မယ့်ပုံပါ။

Unfortunately, it was the last thing she ever said to him

ကံဆိုးတော့ သူ့မောင်ကို နောက်ဆုံးပြောခဲ့တာ

because she never saw him again.

အကြောင်းက သူ့မောင်ကို ထပ်မတွေ့ရတော့လို့ပါ။

He did not survive.

သူ မရှင်ကျန်ခဲ့ဘူး။

And so when she came out of Auschwitz, she made a vow.

ဒါနဲ့ Auschwitz ကနေ သူ ထွက်လာတော့ သန္နိဋ္ဌာန်ချလိုက်တယ်။

She said, "I walked out of Auschwitz into life.

သူ ပြောတာက "ကျွန်မ Auschwitz ကနေ အသက်ရှင်ခဲ့တယ်။

And the vow was,

သန္နိဋ္ဌာန်က

"I will never say anything that couldn't stand

ငါပြောသမျှ နောက်ဆုံးအရာအဖြစ် သူများ သည်းမခံနိုင်တာကို

as the last thing I ever say."

"ငါ ဘယ်တော့မှ မပြောတော့ဘူး"ပါ။

Now, can we do that? No.

အခု ကျွန်တော်တို့ ဘာလုပ်နိုင်လဲ၊

But it is a possibility to live in to.

ဒါပေမဲ့ ဒါက ရှင်သန်နေကြဖို့ ဖြစ်နိုင်ခြေတစ်ခုပါ။
