Learning Clumsy, Klutz, and All Thumbs | Basic English Expressions Lesson

I'm Robin. And in this video, I'm  going to talk about the word clumsy,

the slang word klutz and the idiom all thumbs.

All three of these expressions mean the same thing.

এই তিনটি অভিব্যক্তি একই জিনিস বোঝায়।

We're talking about an awkward person,

আমরা একজন বিশ্রী ব্যক্তি সম্পর্কে কথা বলছি,

someone who has a lot of accidents or someone who's always breaking things.

এমন একজন যার প্রচুর দুর্ঘটনা রয়েছে বা এমন একজন যিনি সর্বদা জিনিসগুলি ভাঙছেন।

OK, it can describe a man or a woman.

ঠিক আছে, এটি একজন পুরুষ বা একজন মহিলাকে বর্ণনা করতে পারে।

Let's take a look in my example.

He always has accidents.

The first word, clumsy.

That's what we want to use to describe someone

Here's the slang word.

OK.  They mean the same thing.

And the last one is an idiom.

OK, that's your thumb.

So if you're all thumbs, every finger is a thumb.

Let's take a look at some example sentences.
