I stepped out of a New York City subway on a beautiful day in September.

Well, my son turned 18 this year,

Now, to be clear, you don't have to be a woman

And we're not used to thinking of subsistence farmers as philanthropists,

തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കാനുള്ള അവസരം ഉണ്ട്.

നമ്മൾ ആ സായുധ പ്രാണരക്ഷാത്തോണിയിൽ ചാടാൻ പോവുകയാണോ അതോ

fueled by racism and xenophobia.

എല്ലാവരെയും കൊണ്ടു പോകാൻ സാധിക്കുന്ന ഒരു അമ്മ കപ്പൽ ഒരുമിച്ചു പണിയാൻ പോവുകയാണോ?

Not every mother is a role model,

but all of us have a choice.

Are we going to jump on that armed lifeboat
