And one of these kids shot up his hand, and he said,

"Well, actually there is a name for it.

It's a sextra-quadra-hexa-something or other." Right?

അത് സെക്സ്ട്ര- ഖ്വാട്ര-ഹെക്ട്ര- അങ്ങനെയെന്തോ ഒന്ന്".

Now, that kid was wrong by four orders of magnitude,

ആ കുട്ടി നാലോ അതിൽ കൂടുതൽ സ്ഥാങ്ങളുടെയോ അളവിൽ തെറ്റിപ്പോയിരുന്നു.

but there was no doubt about it, these kids were smart.

പക്ഷെ ഒരു കാര്യത്തിൽ സംശയമൊന്നും ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു, ഈ കുട്ടികൾ വളരെ ബുദ്ധിശാലികളായിരുന്നു.

Okay? So I stopped giving the lecture.

ശരിയല്ലേ?,അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ പ്രസംഗം അവസാനിപ്പിച്ചു.

All they wanted to do was ask questions.

അവരുടെ ആഗ്രഹം ധാരാളം ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ ചോദിക്കുക എന്നതായിരുന്നു.

In fact, my last comments to these kids, at the end I said,

യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ, അവസാനം ഈ കുട്ടികളോടുള്ള എന്റെ കമന്റുകൾ, ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു

"You know, you kids are smarter

"നിങ്ങൾക്കറിയുമോ , നിങ്ങൾ കുട്ടികൾ വളരെ സമര്‍ത്ഥർ ആണ്

than the people I work with." Now — (Laughter)

എന്റെ കൂടെ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നവരെക്കാളും" ഇനി--(ചിരി)

They didn't even care about that.

അവർ അതിനെപ്പറ്റി ചിന്തിച്ചു കൂടിയില്ല.

What they wanted was my email address

അവർക്ക് ആകെ വേണ്ടിയിരുന്നത് എന്റെ ഇമെയിൽ അഡ്രസ്‌ ആയിരുന്നു

so they could ask me more questions. (Laughter)

എന്നോട് കൂടുതൽ ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ ചോദിക്കാൻ.(ചിരി).

Let me just say, look, my job is a privilege

ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞോട്ടെ, എന്റെ തൊഴിൽ ഒരു അനുഗ്രഹം തന്നെയാണ്.

because we're in a special time.

the facts are that I really don't see myself.

What I see is the generation behind me.

These are some kids from the Huff School, fourth graders.

I talked there, what, two weeks ago, something like that.

ഞാൻ അവിടെ സംസാരിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി .രണ്ടാഴ്ചയോ മറ്റോ മുമ്പ്.

I think that if you can instill some interest in science

and how it works, well, that's a payoff
