In 1989,

And then of course, back here on Earth,

I onda naravno, ovde na Zemlji,

as our planet is facing a climate crisis,

dok se naša planeta suočava sa klimatskom krizom,

as our climate could be unlivable in our children or grandchildren's lifetime,

dok bi Zemlja mogla biti nenastanjiva za života naše dece ili unučadi,

I believe we need a strong symbol, a flag,

verujem da nam treba jak simbol, zastava,

to unite us to fight,

da nas ujedini u borbi,

not just as nations,

ne samo kao nacije,

but as a species.

već kao vrstu.
