English Pronunciation: Can vs Can't

And in this video, we're going to talk  about how to use the word ‘can’ and ‘can't’. 

E in questo video parleremo di come usare le parole "can" e "can't".

mmm, so first of all, let's talk  about the meaning of these words. 

mmm, quindi, prima di tutto, parliamo del significato di queste parole.

‘can’ means you are able to do something. Maybe because you have the skill or maybe  

‘can’ significa che sei in grado di fare qualcosa. Forse perché hai l'abilità o forse

because your body allows you to do that thing. And ‘can't’ is the opposite, right. 

perché il tuo corpo ti permette di fare quella cosa. E "non posso" è l'opposto, giusto.

You can't do something. You're not able to do  

Non puoi fare qualcosa. Non sei in grado di fare

something because you don't have the skill or your body doesn't allow you to do it. 

qualcosa perché non hai l'abilità o il tuo corpo non te lo permette.

Okay, let's move on to the pronunciation. How do we pronounce these words correctly? 

Ok, passiamo alla pronuncia. Come si pronunciano correttamente queste parole?

Now, I know it's not easy, but I know you if  you keep practicing, you're gonna get better.

Now, this one actually sounds like a man's name. can

it sounds more like an ‘e’ than it does an ‘a’. Again, practice with me.

You can see I've only changed  this by putting a ‘t’ here.

Changing ‘can’ to ‘can't’. So let's practice again.
