Now, when you think about swimming, I'm sure most of you consider a nice

If, however, you've experienced swimming in the UK, it's very different.

Now when you jump into a pool, you have the choice of different types of strokes.

Now, a stroke is basically the style of swimming that you choose.

I used to be terrible at swimming where you put your head under the water.

I talked about the breaststroke being my stroke of choice.

Now, the next most popular stroke is called the front crawl.

You might sometimes hear this referred to as freestyle, and you are lifting each

I didn't learn this stroke until literally about a year ago.

This is because your head is often in the water the whole time, and

The next stroke is on your back and it's called backstroke.

Okay, so let's talk about pools in the UK.

I said the majority of pools are indoor pools and often people learn
