We have described here

If you have money, of course, you can get the value.

돈이 있다면 물론 가치를 가질 수 있습니다.

You can get a Mercedes

돈이 있다면

for a very high price,

very high performance.

고성능 벤츠 자동차를 살 수 있지요.

But if you don't have money, what happens?

하지만 돈이 없다면 어떨까요?

Well, you are to ride a bicycle,

아마도 자전거를 타고

carrying your own weight and also some other weight,

자신과 다른 사람까지 태우고 타니면서

so that you can earn the bread for the day.

하루 벌어 하루 끼니를 때울 수 있겠지요.

Well, poor do not remain poor;

가난한 사람이 가난한 채로 머물러 있지만은 않습니다.

they become lower-middle-class.

중하류층으로 올라설 수 있지요.

And if they do so,

그렇게 되면

then, of course, the conditions improve,

물론 환경이 나아지고

and they start riding on scooters.

스쿠터를 타기 시작합니다.

But the challenge is, again, they don't get much value,

하지만 문제는 그들은 여전히 높은 가치를 가질 수 없다는 것입니다.

because they can't afford anything more than the scooter.

The issue is, at that price,

can you give them some extra value?

A super value,

in terms of their ability to ride in a car,

looks practically impossible, isn't it.

Now, this is something

that we see on Indian streets

all the time.

But many people see the same thing

하지만 많은 사람들이 같은 것을 보지만

and think things differently,

다르게 생각하기도 합니다.

and one of them is here, Ratan Tata.

그 중 한 명이 바로 라탄 타타입니다.

The great thing about our leaders

그의 위대한 점은

is that, should they not only have passion in their belly,

바로 마음 속에 다른 사람들처럼

which practically all of them have,

열정만 가진 것이 아니라

they're also very innovative.

혁신적이기도 한 것입니다.

An innovator is one who does not know it cannot be done.

그렇지 않다면 혁신가가 될 수 없었겠지요.

They believe that things can be done.

그런 사람들은 일이 이루어질 것을 확신합니다.

But great leaders like Ratan

라탄 같은 위대한 지도자는

have compassion.

인정을 가지고 있습니다.

And what you said, Lakshmi, is absolutely true:

락시미 씨가 말씀하신 것은 백번 옳은 말씀입니다.

it's not just Ratan Tata,

라탄 타타 뿐만 아니라

it's the house of Tatas over time.

Let me confirm what she said.

Yes, I went barefoot

until I was 12.

I struggled to [unclear] day

And when I finished my SSC, the eleventh standard,

And it was [unclear] Tata Trust, which gave me six rupees per month,

almost a dollar per month for six years.

That's how I'm standing before you.

그 덕분에 제가 지금 여러분 앞에 서 있을 수 있었습니다.

So that is the House of Tata.

이것이 바로 타타 가문의 힘입니다.

Innovation, compassion and passion.

혁신, 인정과 열정이

They combine all that.

합쳐진 결과입니다.

And it was that compassion which bothered them,

그의 마음에 걸리는 일이 있었습니다.

because when he saw -- in fact, he told me about eight or nine years ago

8, 9년 전에 타타 씨가 저에게 해준 얘기인데,

how he was driving his own car --

차를 타고 가는데

he drives his own car by the way --

and he saw in the rain,

빗 속에서

a family like the one that I showed to you

아까 보여준 사진과 같이 스쿠터 한 대에

getting drenched with an infant.

젖먹이 아기까지 태우고 흠뻑 젖은 가족을 보았습니다.

And then he said, "Well, I must give them a car that they can afford,

"음, 저들이 살 수 있는 가격의 차를 만들어야겠어.

one lakh car, $2,000 car."

십만 루피, 2천 불 정도로 말이야."

Of course, as soon as you say something like this

물론 이 말을 들은 사람들은

people say it is impossible,

말도 안된다는 반응이었지요.

and that's what was said by Suzuki.

스즈끼사의 반응도 마찬가지였습니다.

He said, oh, probably he is going to build a three-wheeler

그는 이렇게 말하더군요. 아마도 세발 자동차를 만들려나 보군요.

with stepney.

예비바퀴까지 해서 말이죠.

And you can see the cartoon here.

여기 만화 보이시지요.

Well they didn't build that. They built a proper car. Nano.

하지만 타타는 그런 걸 만들지 않았습니다. 제대로 된 차를 만들었지요. 나노입니다.

And mind you, I'm six feet half an inch,

기억해 두실 것은 저는 6피트 반인치(184cm)이고

Ratan is taller than me,

라탄 타타는 저보다 큽니다.

and we have ample space in the front

이 특별한 차에는 앞자리에 충분한 공간이 있고

and ample space in the back in this particular car.

뒤에도 역시 충분한 자리가 있습니다.

And incredible car.

놀라운 차입니다.

And of course, nothing succeeds like success;

물론 성공만한 성공은 없습니다.

the cynics then turned around,

여기저기 비꼬는 사람들도 생겨났지요,

and one after the other

하나 둘씩 늘어가면서

they also started saying, "Yes, we also want to make a car in the Nano Segment.

입을 모아 말하길, "우리도 이 나노 시장에 차를 만들고 싶었다고,

We'll manufacture a car in the Nano Segment."

우리도 이 나노 시장에 차를 출시할거야."

How did this great story unfold,

나노의 탄생에 대한

the making of Nano?

알려지지 않은 놀라운 이야기를 해볼까요?

Let me tell you a bit about it.

몇 가지만 말씀드리자면,

For example, how we started:

예를 들어 어떻게 시작되었는지에 관해서요.

Ratan just began with a five-engineer team,

young people in their mid-twenties.

And he said,

"Well, I won't define the vehicle for you,

And at a point in time,

he got so engrossed in the whole challenge,

Can you believe it?

I still am told about this story

Early morning he'll be coming back with sort of solutions.

But who was the team leader?

The team leader was Girish Wagh,

a 34 year-old boy in [unclear].

And the Nano team average age

was just 27 years.

And they did innovation in design and beyond.

Broke many norms of the standard conventions for the first time.

많은 기본적인 관습의 기준을 처음으로 깨뜨렸지요.

For example, that a two-cylinder gas engine

예를 들어 2행정 엔진이

was used in a car with a single balancer shaft.

하나의 밸런스 샤프트만으로 처음으로 차에 사용되었습니다.

Adhesives were replacing the rivets.

리벳 대신 접착제를 사용했지요.

There was a co-creation, a huge co-creation,

그리고 전 분야에 걸친 협업이

with vendors and suppliers.

협력업체와 함께 이루어졌습니다.

All ideas on board were welcome.

모든 아이디어는 받아들여졌지요.

100 vendors were co-located adjacent to the plant,

백여개의 협력업체가 공장 주변에 자리잡았고,

and innovative business models for automobile dealerships were developed.

또한 자동차 판매업계의 혁신적인 사업모델을 개발해냈습니다.

Imagine that a fellow

who sells cloth, for example, will be selling Nano.

I mean, it was incredible innovation.

Seeking solutions for non-auto sectors.

자동차 업계가 아닌 곳에서 해결책을 찾았지요.

It was an open innovation,

ideas from all over were welcome.

The mechanism of helicopters seats and windows was used, by the way,

as well as a dashboard

that was inspired by two-wheelers.

The fuel lines and lamps

were as in two-wheelers.

And the crux of the matter was, however,

All the time, you have been given an envelope.

And therefore, each component

Half the number of parts

The length is smaller by eight percent by the way.

But the current entry-level cars

in comparison to that is eight percent less,

but 21 percent more inside space.

실내공간은 21%가 더 넓습니다.

And what happened

여기서 일어난 일은

was that -- more from less --

바로 적은 것에서 많은 것을 만들어내는 것입니다.

you can see how much more for how much less.

얼마나 적은 것에서 많은 것을 창조할 수 있는지 보실 수 있지요.

When the Model T was launched --

포드의 T형 자동차가 처음 나왔을 때

and this is, by the way, all the figures

모든 수치를

that are adjusted to 2007 dollar prices --

2007년의 달러화 가치로 환산하면

Model T was 19,700 by Ford.

19,700불이었습니다.

Volkswagon was 11,333.

폭스바겐의 비틀은 11,333불이었고,

And British Motor was around 11,000.

브리티쉬 모터의 미니는 11,000불 가량 됩니다.

And Nano was, bang, 2,000 dollars.

그리고 나노는 무려 2,000불에 불과하지요.

This is why

started dreaming of being in a car.

차를 가질 수 있다는 것을 꿈꾸기 시작했습니다.

And those dreams are getting fulfilled.

그리고 꿈이 실현되기 시작했습니다.

near my own home.

바로 제 집 옆이지요.

The driver's name is Naran.

이 운전사의 이름은 나란입니다.

He has bought his own Nano.

본인 소유의 나노를 가지고 있습니다.

And you can see, there is a physical space

사진에서 보시듯이 이 공간은

that has been created for him,

그를 위한 것이 아닙니다.

parking that car, along with the owner's car,

주인집 차 옆에 자신의 차를 주차해놓았지요.

but more importantly, they've created

하지만 더욱 중요한 것은

a space in their mind that

마음의 여유가 생긴 것입니다.

"Yes, my chauffeur is going to come in his own car and park it."

"그래, 내 운전기사도 자기 차를 타고 와서 주차해 놓아도 되지."

And that's why I call it a transformational innovation.

제가 급변하는 혁신이라 부르는 이유입니다.

It is not just technological,

기술적인 측면 뿐만 아니라

it is social innovation that we talk about.

우리가 얘기하는 사회적 혁신입니다.

And that is where, ladies and gentlemen,

this famous theme

I remember talking about this for the first time in Australia,

when their academy honored me with a fellowship.

And Gandhian engineering, in my judgment,

is the one which is going to take the world forward,

is going to make a difference,

not just for a few, but for everyone.

Let me move from mobility in a car to individual mobility

자동차 얘기는 그만하고 개인의 이동성에 대한 이야기를 하도록 하지요.

for those unfortunates

다리를 잃은

who have lost their legs.

불행한 사람들에 대한 이야기입니다.

Here is an American citizen and his son

여기 의족을 부착한 한 미국인과

having an artificial foot.

그의 아들이 있습니다.

What is its price? 20,000 dollars.

가격이 얼마인 줄 아시나요? 2만불입니다.

And of course, these feet are so designed

게다가 이 의족은

that they can walk only on

단지 잘 정비된 인도나 길에서만

such perfect pavement or roads.

걸을 수 있게 설계되었습니다.

Unfortunately, that's not the case in India.

불행히도 인도에 그런 곳은 없지요.

You can see him walk barefoot

맨발로

on an awkward land, sometimes in a marshy land,

and so on and so forth.

More importantly,

they not only walk far to work,

and not only do they cycle to work,

but they cycle for work, as you can see here.

And they climb up for their work.

You have to design an artificial foot for such conditions.

이런 환경에 적합한 의족을 만들어야만 하지요.

A challenge, of course.

물론 쉽지 않은 일입니다.

Four billion people, their incomes are less then two dollars a day.

4백만의 사람들이 하루에 2불도 안되는 수입으로 살아가고 있는데

And if you talk about a 20,000-dollar shoe,

의족을 구입하기 위해 2만 불을 지불해야 한다면

you're talking about 10,000 days of income.

1만 일 동안 일을 해야 합니다.

You just don't have it.

말도 안되는 일이지요.

And therefore, you ought to look at alternatives.

따라서 대안을 찾아야만 합니다.

And that is how Jaipur Foot was created in India.

자이퍼 풋이 인도에서 발명될 수 있었던 이유입니다.

It had a revolutionary prosthetic fitment and delivery system,

이것은 혁명적인 보철학과 배송 시스템,

a quick molding and modular components,

enabling custom-made, on-the-spot limb fitments.

I've been talking about getting more from less for more.

더 많은 사람을 위해 적은 것에서 많은 것을 만드는 이야기를 하고 있습니다.

Let's move to health.

건강과 관련된 이야기를 해보지요.

We've talked about mobility and the rest of it, let's talk about health.

이동성에 관한 이야기를 해왔으니 건강에 대한 얘기를 해보도록 합시다.

What's happening in the area of health?

건강 분야에서는 무슨 일이 있을까요?

You know, you have new diseases that require new drugs.

알다시피 새로운 질병에는 새로운 약이 필요합니다.

And if you look at the drug development 10 years ago and now,

신약 개발을 10년 전과 지금을 비교한다면

what has happened?

어떨까요?

10 years ago, it used to cost about a quarter billion.

10년 전에는 개발비용이 약 2억5천만불이 들었지만

Today it costs 1.5 billion dollars.

지금에 와서는 15억불이 듭니다.

Time taken for moving a molecule to marketplace,

분자 화합물이 시작에 나올 때까지

after all the human and animal testing,

동물 실험과 인체 실험을 모두 거쳐

was 10 years, now it is 15 years.

10년이 걸렸던 것이 지금은 15년이 걸리고 있습니다.

Are you getting more drugs because you are spending more time and more money?

시간과 돈이 더 들어간 결과 더 많은 약이 나왔나요?

No, I'm sorry.

미안하게도 그렇지 않습니다.

We used to have 40, now they have come down to 30.

40여종의 신약이 개발되었던 것이 30여종으로 줄었지요.

So actually we are getting less from more

즉 점점 더 적은 사람들을 위해

for less and less people.

많은 것으로 적은 것을 만들고 있는 것이지요.

Why less and less people? Because it is so expensive,

왜 소수의 사람들만 가능할까요? 너무 비싸기 때문에

so very few will be able to basically afford that.

매우 적은 사람들만 약값을 지불할 수 있습니다.

Let us just take an example.

Psoriasis is very dreadful

disease of the skin.

The cost of treatment, 20,000 dollars.

1,000-dollar antibody injections under the skin, by the way,

Time for development -- it took around 10 years

Let's start in the spirit

and start putting some targets.

For example, we don't want 20,000 dollars; we don't have it.

Can we do it [for] 100 dollars?

Time for development, not 10 years.

개발에 소요되는 시간도 10년은 너무 깁니다.

We are in a hurry. Five years.

Cost of development -- 300 million dollars.

Sorry. I can't spend more than 10 million dollars.

안되겠군요. 천만불 이상 쓸 수 없어요.

Looks absolutely audacious.

뻔뻔해 보이기도 하고

Looks absolutely ridiculous.

터무니 없는 소리로 들리기도 합니다.

You know something? This has been achieved in India.

하지만 아시나요? 인도에서 해냈습니다.

These targets have been achieved in India.

위에서 말씀드린 목표가 모두 인도에서 실현되었지요.

And how they have been achieved ...

어떻게 성공할 수 있었냐면 ...

Sir Francis Bacon once said,

프란시스 베이컨 경이 말했지요,

"When you wish to achieve results

"이전에 실현된 적이 없는

that have not been achieved before,

결과를 얻고 싶다면

it is an unwise fancy to think

that they can be achieved by using methods

And therefore, the standard process,

The Indian cleverness

I launched a big program

저는 큰 규모의 프로그램을

He is giving us not just for Psoriasis,

for cancer and a whole range of things, changing the whole paradigm.

And you can see this Indian Psoriasis breakthrough

obtained by this reverse form of [unclear]

by doing things differently.

You can see before treatment and after treatment.

This is really getting more from less for more and more people,

이것은 진정 적은 것으로 많은 사람에게 많은 것을 제공하는 일입니다.

because these are all affordable treatments now.

이제 누구나 부담없이 치료를 받을 수 있게 되었기 때문입니다.

Let me just remind you

마하트마 간디가

of what Mahatma Gandhi had said.

한 말씀을 상기시켜 드리자면,

He had said, "Earth provides enough

"지구는 모든 사람의 필요를

to satisfy every man's need, but not every man's greed."

충족시킬 충분한 것을 제공하지만, 모든 사람의 욕심을 채우지는 못합니다."

So the message he was giving us

간디가 전하는 메세지는

was you must get more from less and less and less

우리는 반드시 더 적은 것으로 많은 혜택을 누릴 수 있어야 한다는 것입니다.

so that you can share it for more and more people,

더 많은 사람과 나눌 수 있고

not only the current generation,

현재 세대뿐만이 아니라

but the future generations.

미래의 후손들을 위해서도 필요합니다.

And he also said, "I would prize every invention of science

또한 간디는 이렇게 말했지요.

made for the benefit for all."

"모든 이들에게 혜택을 주는 모든 과학적 발명에 상을 주어야 합니다."

So he was giving you the message that you must have it for more and more people,

그가 전하는 메세지는 분명합니다.

not just a few people.

단지 소수의 사람들 뿐 아니라 더 많은 사람에게 혜택을 주어야 한다는 것입니다.

And therefore, ladies and gentlemen,

그리고 여러분,

this is the theme, getting more

더 많은 것을 더 많은 사람을 위해

from less for more.

더 적은 것으로부터 얻는 것이 핵심입니다.

And mind you,

또한 강조하고 싶은 것은,

it is not getting just a little more for just a little less.

약간의 적은 것으로 적당한 것을 얻는 것이 아니라는 점입니다.

It's not about low cost.

몇 푼 싸게 하는 것이 중요한 것이 아니라,

It's about ultra-low cost.

정말 적은 비용으로 해내야 합니다.

You cannot say it's a mere treatment 10,000 dollars,

치료 비용이 1만불이니,

but because you are poor I'll give it for 9,000.

가난한 사람에게 9천불에 주겠다고 말할 수는 없지요.

Sorry, it doesn't work. You have to give it for 100 dollars, 200 dollars.

미안하지만 전혀 소용이 없습니다. 백불, 2백불에 제공해야지요.

Is it possible? It has been made possible, by the way,

가능할까요? 저는 이런 일들을 가능하게 하고 있습니다.

for certain other different reasons.

특별한 다른 이유가 있습니다.

So you are not talking about low cost, you are talking about ultra-low cost.

저비용이 아니라 초저비용이 되어야 합니다.

You are not talking about affordability,

감당할 수 있을 정도가 아니라

you are talking about extreme affordability.

부담없이 지불할 수 있어야 하지요.

Because of the four billion people whose income is under two dollars a day.

40억의 인구가 매일 2불 이하의 수입으로 살고 있기 때문입니다.

You're not talking exclusive innovation.

배타적인 혁신이 아니라

You're talking about inclusive innovation.

모두를 위한 혁신이 되어야 합니다.

And therefore, you're not talking about incremental innovation,

이윤을 창출하기 위한 혁신이 아니라

you're talking about disruptive innovation.

분배를 위한 혁신이 되어야 합니다.

The ideas have to be such

이런 아이디어는

that you think in completely different terms.

완전히 다른 개념에서 생각해야만 합니다.

And I would also add,

덧붙이고 싶은 것은,

it is not only getting more from less for more

단지 적은 것에서 많은 사람을 위해 많은 것을 얻는 것 뿐만 아니라

by more and more people, the whole world working for it.

점점 더 많은 사람들, 온 세상이 참여해야 합니다.

I was very touched when I saw a breakthrough the other day.

어느 날 다른 놀라운 혁신을 보고 큰 감동을 받았습니다.

You know, incubators for infants, for example.

신생아를 위한 인큐베이터는

They're not available in Africa.

예를 들어 아프리카에서는 꿈도 꾸지 못하지요.

They're not available in Indian villages.

인도의 시골에서도 마찬가지입니다.

And infants die.

신생아들이 죽게 되지요.

And incubator costs 2,000 dollars.

인큐베이터는 2천불입니다.

And there's a 25-dollar incubator

그런데 25불짜리 인큐베이터가

giving that performance that had been created.

기존 인큐베이터와 동일한 성능을 발휘합니다.

And by whom?

누가 만들었을까요?

By young students from Standford University

바로 스탠포드 대학의 젊은 학생들이

on an extreme affordability project that they had, basically.

초저비용의 프로젝트를 통해 해냈습니다.

Their heart is in the right place, like Ratan Tata.

그 학생들의 마음은 바른 곳에 있습니다. 라탄 타타처럼요.

It's not just innovation, compassion and passion --

단순한 혁신이 아니라, 따듯한 인정과 열정입니다.

compassion in the heart and passion in the belly.

마음 속에 인정을 담아 열정을 가지고 해낸 것이지요.

That's the new world that we want to create.

우리가 만들고자 하는 새로운 세상입니다.

And that is why the message is that of Gandhian engineering.

그리고 이것이 간디식 공학의 메세지입니다.

Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to end before time.

The message, the final message, is this:

India gave a great gift to the world.

What was that?

[In the] 20th century, we gave Gandhi to the world.

The 21st century gift,

which is very, very important for the whole world,

whether it is global economic meltdown,

is gaining more from less for more and more --

not only the current generations,

And that can come only from Gandhian engineering.

Now, when you were a young boy in this school,

what were your thoughts, like what did you think you could become?

What do you think that drove you?

Was there a vision you had? What is it that drove you?

RAM: I'll tell you a story that drove me, that transformed my life.

마셀카 : 저를 이끌어주었던 이야기를 해드리지요. 제 인생을 바꾼 일입니다.

I remember, I went to a poor school,

제 기억으로, 저는 아주 낙후된 학교에 다녔습니다.

because my mother could not gather the 21 rupees,

저희 어머니는 기간 안에 학교에 내야하는 21루피,

that half a dollar that was required

즉 0.5불을 낼 수 없을 정도로

within the stipulated time.

가난했으니까요.

It was [unclear] high school.

그곳은 (--불명확함--) 고등학교였습니다.

But it was a poor school with rich teachers, honestly.

낙후된 학교였지만, 훌륭한 선생님들이 계셨습니다. 진짜로요.

And one of them was [unclear] who taught us physics.

그 중 한분이 (--불명확함--) 선생님이셨고, 물리학을 가르쳐 주셨지요.

One day he took us out into the sun

하루는 우리를 태양볕이 드는 곳으로 데려가서

and tried to show us how to find

어떻게 볼록렌즈의 초점거리를

the focal length of a convex lens.

구하는지 알려주셨습니다.

The lens was here. The piece of paper was there. He moved it up and down.

렌즈를 들고, 종이를 여기 놓고서 렌즈를 위아래로 움직였습니다.

And there was a bright spot up there.

그러면 밝은 점이 생기지요.

And then he said, "This is the focal length."

선생님께서 말씀하시길, "이것이 초점 거리다."

But then he held it for a little while, Lakshmi.

렌즈를 잠시 들고 있었는데요, 락시미씨.

And then the paper burned.

곧 종이가 타기 시작했습니다.

When the paper burned, for some reason he turned to me,

종이가 타들어 가자, 선생님은 문득 저를 보고서

and he said, "Mashelkar, like this,

"마셀카야, 이것처럼

if you do not diffuse your energies,

너의 힘을 분산시키지 말고

if you focus your energies,

한 곳으로 집중시킨다면

you can achieve anything in the world."

세상의 어떤 일도 해낼 수 있단다."

That gave me a great message: focus and you can achieve.

그 말씀은 저에게 커다란 의미로 다가왔습니다. 집중하면 이룰 수 있다.

I said, "Whoa, science is so wonderful,

저는 "우와, 과확은 참 멋지네요,

I have to become a scientist."

저는 과학자가 되겠어요." 라고 말했지요.

But more importantly, focus and you can achieve.

하지만 더욱 중요한 것은, 집중하면 이룰 수 있다는 것입니다.

And that message, very frankly,

그 메세지는 매우 솔직하게

is valuable for society today.

현대 사회에 중요한 가치를 가집니다.

What does that focal length do?

초점거리는 무슨 역할을 할까요?

It has parallel lines, which are sun rays.

태양광선은 평행하게 내리쬡니다.

And the property of parallel lines

평행하다는 뜻은

is that they never meet.

그 선들이 절대 만날 수 없다는 것이죠.

What does that convex lens do?

볼록렌즈는 어떤 역할을 할까요?

It makes them meet.

평행선을 만나게 합니다.

This is convex lens leadership.

이것이 바로 볼록렌즈 리더십입니다.

You know what today's leadership is doing? Concave length.

요즘의 리더십은 어떤 줄 아세요? 오목렌즈입니다.

They divide them farther.

점점 더 멀어지게 하지요.

So I learned the lesson

저는 그 가르침에서

of convex lens leadership from that.

볼록렌즈 리더십을 배웠습니다.

And when I was at National Chemical Laboratory [unclear].

그리고 제가 국립화학연구소와

When I was at Council of Scientific Industry Research --

과학산업연구협의회의

40 laboratories -- when two laboratories were not talking to each other,

40개 연구소가 서로 교류조차 하지 않을 때,

I would [unclear].

서로 화합하게 했습니다.

And currently I'm president of Global Research Alliance,

그리고 지금은 국제연구소 연맹의 회장직을 맡아

60,000 scientists in nine counties, right from India to the U.S.

인도에서 미국에 이르는 9개 국가의 6만여 과학자들을 대표합니다.

I'm trying to build a global team,

저는 국제적인 팀을 구축해서

which will look at the global grand challenges that the world is facing.

세계가 직면한 큰 도전에 대응하고자 노력합니다.

That was the lesson. That was the inspirational moment.
