I thought I would read poems I have that relate to the subject

I was sort of astonished to find out how many I have actually.

The first one is dedicated to

My grandmother is washing my mouth out with soap;

In those days,

Here was my relation with the woman who lived all last autumn and winter,

A student, a young woman

in a fourth-floor hallway of her lycee,
