سلام جان من فکر کردم که قبلا خوابیده ای آیا تو خوبی

I'm great and you're not gonna tell  me what to do you're not my dad

من عالی هستم و نمیخواهی به من بگویی چه کار کنم تو پدر من نیستی می

I know I'm not your father and I  don't pretend to be I just want to

دانم که من پدرت نیستم و تظاهر نمی کنم که هستم میخوام برام

I don't care what you want get out  of my room you're not my father

مهم نیست چی میخوای از اتاقم بیرون برو تو پدر من نیستی گوش کن

listen I want to tell you a story it happened  to me when I was your age please listen to me

میخوام یه داستان برات بگم که وقتی همسن تو بودم برای من اتفاق افتاد لطفا به من گوش کن

okay say whatever you want but  then leave I don't like you at all

هرچی میخوای بگو ولی بعد برو من اصلا تو را دوست ندارم

I was just a kid when my parents got divorced  at the beginning it affected me a lot  

من بچه بودم که پدر و مادرم از هم جدا شدند در ابتدا این خیلی روی من تأثیر گذاشت.

I was sad all day every day I missed my father  so much but then then I understood why my  

تمام روز غمگین بودم که دلم برای پدرم خیلی تنگ شده بود اما بعد فهمیدم چرا

mom had decided to get divorced my parents  used to fight a lot when they were together  

مادرم تصمیم گرفته بود طلاق گرفتن پدر و مادرم زمانی که با هم بودند خیلی دعوا می کردند

and all I remember was them fighting every day my  mom used to be angry all the time and sometimes

she cried at nights I couldn't understand  why back then but now I get it they didn't

anyway my brother and I missed my dad so much  the first six months and my mom was also sad and

and my mom didn't earn much money with the store  so she used to be out until 10 or 11 in the night

و مامانم با فروشگاه پول زیادی به دست نمی‌آورد بنابراین تا ساعت 10 یا 11 شب بیرون بود،

we try to help her of course but it was not enough  we were only children we couldn't get a good job  

البته ما سعی می‌کردیم به او کمک کنیم، اما کافی نبود، ما فقط بچه بودیم که نمی‌توانستیم. شغل خوبی پیدا نکردیم،

so we helped her where we could we also try to  sell some things but it was never enough never

بنابراین ما تا جایی که می‌توانستیم به او کمک کردیم و سعی کردیم برخی چیزها را بفروشیم، اما هرگز کافی نبود، هرگز

one day we went to her store and we saw our  mom with a man it was one of my mom's friend  

یک روز به فروشگاه او رفتیم و مادرمان را با مردی دیدیم که یکی از دوستان مادرم بود.

we knew him well we had met him like  four or five years ago in the church

آن مرد سلام کردم و سپس به مدرسه رفتم که دوست داشتم مادرم دوباره خوشحال شد

at least for a moment she told us he was just her  friend and we were fine with that we believed her

he came back to visit my mom I saw him when I  went to my mother's store they were there talking

برای دیدن مادرم برگشت او را دیدم وقتی به فروشگاه مادرم رفتم آنها آنجا صحبت می کردند

when he saw me he tried to leave the place he  said I'm sorry I know you don't like me I'm going  

وقتی من را دید سعی کرد جایی را ترک کند که گفت من هستم متاسفم میدونم دوستم نداری میرم   بهش

I told him wait I need to talk to  you I know you make my mom happy  

گفتم صبر کن باید باهات صحبت کنم میدونم مامانم رو خوشحال میکنی

she was sad when you left  so you must be a good person

وقتی تو رفتی ناراحت شد پس اگر نمیخوای باید آدم خوبی باشی

if you don't want to be my mother's  boyfriend again I will understand  

دوست پسر مادرم باش دوباره میفهمم

it was all my fault but at least  you can be her friend please  

همه تقصیر من بود اما حداقل تو میتونی دوستش باشی خواهش میکنم

I know she loves you so much and she  will be very happy if you are together

میدونم خیلی دوستت داره و خیلی خوشحال میشه اگه با هم باشی
