To tamper with something is to interfere or mess around

Alright, next on the list is a noun and it is defect, defect.

A defect is a fault or an issue with something, or someone, that causes

Okay, so this idiom is bite the bullet.

What you'll notice is the T in bite kind of starts to drop off
