"You've Got This" - Discurso Motivacional para Alunos da Língua Inglesa

Dear English language learner,

Caro aluno de inglês,

I know that you may be  feeling discouraged right now. 

sei que você pode estar se sentindo desanimado agora.

Maybe you've been trying to learn English for a  while, and it just doesn't seem to be clicking. 

Talvez você esteja tentando aprender inglês há algum tempo e simplesmente não parece estar dando certo.

Maybe you're struggling to understand native  speakers, or you're too shy to speak up in class.

Talvez você esteja lutando para entender falantes nativos ou seja muito tímido para falar em sala de aula.

But I want to tell you something: you can do this. 

Mas eu quero te dizer uma coisa: você pode fazer isso.

You can become fluent in English. It won't be easy, but it will be worth it.

Você pode se tornar fluente em inglês. Não será fácil, mas valerá a pena.

You see, learning a language is a  lot like training for a big fight. 

Veja bem, aprender um idioma é muito parecido com treinar para uma grande luta.

You have to put in the work every day, even  when it feels like you're not making progress. 

Você tem que trabalhar todos os dias, mesmo quando parece que não está progredindo.

You have to push through the  pain and the frustration,  

Você tem que superar a dor e a frustração

and keep going even when you feel like giving up.

e continuar mesmo quando sentir vontade de desistir.

But if you do that, if you keep  fighting, you will see results. 

Mas se você fizer isso, se continuar lutando, verá os resultados.

You will start to understand more and more, and  you will be able to express yourself more clearly.  

Você começará a entender cada vez mais e será capaz de se expressar com mais clareza.

You will be able to connect with  people from all over the world,  

Você poderá se conectar com pessoas de todo o mundo

and you will be able to open up a whole  new world of opportunities for yourself.

e abrir um novo mundo de oportunidades para si mesmo.

So if your English is bad right now, don't worry. Just keep going. 

Portanto, se o seu inglês está ruim agora, não se preocupe. Apenas continue.

Keep studying, keep practicing,  keep pushing yourself to do better. 

Continue estudando, continue praticando, continue se esforçando para fazer melhor.

And one day, you will wake up  and realise that you are fluent.

E um dia você vai acordar e perceber que é fluente.

Remember, it's not about how good you  are today. It's about how good you

can be tomorrow. So get up, dust  yourself off, and keep fighting.
