But then one night I stay up till two minutes past nine

So the next night I really push the boat out and I stay up till ten past nine.

Then I get into trouble.

So, to test the limits is to see how far you can go before things change.

To be suspended means to be asked to leave for a short period and this is a

really exaggerating the fact that you're surprised or shocked by

what you are trying to understand.

If you are doing something that I think is crazy, I'd say,

اگر کاری انجام می دهید که به نظر من دیوانه است، می گویم:

"What on earth are you doing?"

"تو چه کار می کنی؟"

Or if you walk into my house and I don't know who you are, I'd look at you and say,

یا اگر وارد خانه من شوی و من ندانم کی هستی، به تو نگاه می کنم و می گویم:

"Who on earth are you?

"تو کی هستی؟

And what on earth are you doing in my house?"

و در خانه من چه می کنی؟"

So it adds meaning an additional level of shock or surprise to your question.

بنابراین، سطح دیگری از شوک یا شگفتی را به سوال شما اضافه می کند.
