I had to see that every day my siblings and I had  to watch them fight all the time it was horrible

that's why when they decided  to get divorced I was not sad  

به همین دلیل وقتی تصمیم به طلاق گرفتند من غمگین نبودم

but what really affected me was the fact that  my brothers and my sister and I had to separate  

اما چیزی که واقعاً روی من تأثیر گذاشت این بود که من و برادرانم و خواهرم مجبور شدیم از هم جدا شویم

two of us could go with my father  and the other two with my mom

دو نفر از ما می توانستیم با پدرم برویم و دو نفر دیگر. با مامانم

I was very close to them we grew up together  we always played together and also cry together  

خیلی بهشون صمیمی بودم با هم بزرگ شدیم همیشه با هم بازی میکردیم و همچنین

when my parents fought I was happy being with them  that's why it affected me a lot when we went apart

وقتی پدر و مادرم دعوا میکردند با هم گریه میکردیم از بودن با آنها خوشحال بودم به همین دلیل وقتی از هم جدا شدیم خیلی

anyway my father stayed in my house with my sister  and my younger brother and my older brother and I  

روی من تاثیر گذاشت. من و خواهرم  و برادر کوچکترم و برادر بزرگترم

went with my mom to live to a different place  we rented a room in one of my mom's friend

با مادرم برای زندگی به جای دیگری رفتیم در یکی از دوستان مادرم اتاقی اجاره کردیم

but we didn't have much money I remember my  mom used to pay 50 dollars a month or that  

اما پول زیادی نداشتیم. یادم می آید که مادرم 50 دلار می پرداخت. یک ماه یا آن

room it was more like a favor I think because the  owner of the house was one of her best friends

soon we have to move to a different place because  that house was too small for the three of us

we were growing up and we need  a room for me and my brother

but we could only stay there for a year because  after that the house was going to be sold well if

there for a year and then we could take a piece of  a land near there many poor people used to do that

we had to live there in a very small place with  four walls without a bed or furniture we didn't

I remember it cost one dollar soup main dish and  fruit it was not delicious but at least we could

eat something we had to go there every day on  time otherwise they could leave us without food

anyway we had many shortcomings but we were happy  I mean I had my brother by my side and I used to  

ما کمبودهای زیادی داشتیم، اما خوشحال بودیم. من و برادرم که در کنارم بودیم،

visit my other siblings every week it was not the  same but at least we could play together sometimes  

هر هفته به خواهر و برادرهای دیگرم سر می زدیم، این یکسان نبود، اما حداقل می توانستیم گاهی اوقات با هم بازی کنیم،

while we were living in that mountain  my brother and I made a lot of friends  

زمانی که در آن کوه زندگی می کردیم، من و برادرم دوستان زیادی پیدا کردیم،

we used to play together all the time every day  

همه با هم بازی می کردیم. هر روز

my mom used to get mad at us because  we stayed out playing until night

but we were happy anyway soon the side directive  I mean the people who were like the presidents

my mom didn't have her own house the other house  where we used to live was my father's and he

I got to my mom's little store  and she was crying I asked her  

به فروشگاه کوچک مامانم رسیدم و او گریه می کرد از او پرسیدم

why are you crying what happened  tell me but she didn't answer

چرا گریه می کنی چه اتفاقی افتاده  به من بگو اما او نگفت جواب بده

then she told me we have to go to the house  right now come with me let's go I didn't know  

بعد اون بهم گفت باید بریم خونه همین الان با من بیا بیا بریم

what was happening I just told her okay let's  go but calm down tell me what's going on here

من نمیدونستم   چه اتفاقی میفته فقط بهش گفتم باشه بیا بریم اما آروم باش به من بگو اینجا چه خبره

she didn't answer she just told me to hurry so  we went running to our house my mom was crying  

اون جواب نداد فقط به من گفت عجله کنم، پس دوان دوان به سمت خانه‌مان رفتیم، مادرم در تمام راه گریه می‌کرد.

all the way home I just wanted to know what  was happening but she didn't tell me anything

when we got to our home I got it I understood  what had happened my house our home was not

there anymore it had disappeared there was only  a rubble where our house was supposed to be

دیگر آنجا نبود، ناپدید شده بود، فقط یک آوار بود که قرار بود خانه ما باشد،

I was shocked I just stood there without saying  a word it turns out that we had been evicted  

شوکه شدم، بدون اینکه حرفی بزنم همانجا ایستادم، معلوم شد که ما را

they the leaders have just destroyed our  house and it was all my father's fault

بیرون کرده‌اند. همه تقصیر پدرم بود که

these leaders had gone to  visit my father to his house  

این رهبران برای دیدن پدرم به خانه اش رفته بودند،

there they asked him about my mother  and he said that she was still living

there with him and that that was still her  house too because they were still married

my mother collapsed and broke down  in tears where our house used to
