I would like to invite you on a little thought experiment.

So why do we celebrate the wrong leaders?

Sometimes it comes down to pure racism and sexism.

We have a well-documented bias for associating leadership with white men.

But there's another culprit at work as well,

Our mistaken belief

that the best leaders are those who generate the most noise,

Shackleton and Amundsen are a case in point.

Shackleton, our candidate B,
