When I found out my grandmother,

Cartoons can say so much with so little.

With just a few lines, you can express happiness,

This became really important to me

I got to know my grandmother Homa

When I set out to write this comic, which was published in the “LA Times,”

I wanted to take something complicated and big

When we do that, we're not actually grieving.

Cartooning has allowed me to go narrow,
