Paul I can't believe it I haven't seen you  since that reunion we had do you remember

Frank of course I remember it's good  to see you my friend how are you

פרנק כמובן אני זוכר שטוב לראות אותך ידידי מה שלומך

as you can see an excellent I got  a good job I have more free time

good to know I didn't know your son studied  here too in fact I didn't know you had a son

oh but when was the last time we talked  huh I think it was five years ago right

I think so what happens is that I  don't usually come here to the school

Deborah my wife usually comes to pick up  my son from school I work every day so

poor of you it must be difficult when  was the last time you went on vacation

of course it was it was the best  decision I could take it's just amazing

well due to that I could travel to different  countries and went on vacation many times

מדהים בגלל שיכולתי לנסוע למדינות שונות ויצאתי לחופשה הרבה פעמים

I don't have to ask for permission or plan my  vacations if I want to go I just go and that's it

אני לא צריך לבקש רשות או לתכנן את החופשות שלי אם אני רוצה לנסוע אני פשוט הולך וזהו

I think that's great and where did  you go on vacation I'd like to know

where I didn't go I travel  to Europe Asia Africa America

all the countries I visit are interesting my  friend last year I went to France it was amazing

France I've never gone there  people say it's an amazing country

it is I went last year I visited many  beautiful places when I was there

I arrived at the Paris de gallo  airport they treated me very well

הגעתי לשדה התעופה של פריז דה גאלו, הם התייחסו אליי מאוד טוב

obviously I flew first class I always do people  say it's expensive but it's nothing for me  

ברור שטסתי במחלקה ראשונה אני תמיד אנשים אומרים שזה יקר אבל זה כלום בשבילי

it only cost ten thousand dollars really  cheap did you also take a first class flight  

זה עלה רק עשרת אלפים דולר ממש זול, לקחתם גם מחלקה ראשונה טיסה

no I didn't I took the regular flight I  couldn't afford that it's too much money

לא לא עשיתי את הטיסה הרגילה לא יכולתי להרשות לעצמי שזה יותר מדי כסף

remember I have three children and that could  be like fifty thousand dollars impossible

I know I know you're poor it happens  because you have many children

well in fact I'm happy I love my children  and they love me so that's okay for me

if you say so by the way where did you  go on vacation if I'm allowed to ask

sure we went to India it was  amazing the food was delicious

בטוח שנסענו להודו זה היה מדהים האוכל היה טעים

we ate something called Robin Rush it's  one of the best dishes I've ever tried

אכלנו משהו שנקרא רובין ראש זו אחת המנות הכי טובות שניסיתי

that sounds weird when I travel  I only eat hard Cuisine dishes

שנשמעות מוזר כשאני מטיילת אני אוכלת רק מנות קשוח

when I was in Paris I only ate baguette  Cross Sound special cheese Parisian honey

כשהייתי בפריז אכלתי רק באגט קרוס סאונד גבינה מיוחדת דבש פריזאי

anyway everything was very expensive  but delicious the best food

בכל מקרה הכל היה מאוד יקר אבל טעים האוכל הכי טוב

and of course I drunk it's a special drinks  a dirty Margarita or a dumb perion wine  

וכמובן ששתיתי זה משקאות מיוחדים מרגריטה מלוכלכת או יין פריון מטומטם

but I suppose you don't know much about them  I will bring some of these drinks someday

אבל אני מניח שאתה לא יודע עליהם הרבה אני אביא כמה מהמשקאות האלה מתישהו

oh thank you when I was in India I drank  a delicious tea there are different types

תודה לך כשהייתי בהודו. שתו תה טעים יש סוגים שונים

the most popular and delicious for me  was the Masala chai without any doubt

הכי פופולרי וטעים עבורי היה צ'אי מסאלה ללא שום ספק

they made it with cardamom black  pepper cinnamon cloves and Ginger  

הם הכינו אותו עם הל שחור פלפל ציפורן קינמון וג’ינג’ר

few ingredients but the flavor was amazing and  the best part was that it was a cheap drink

מעט מרכיבים אבל הטעם היה מדהים והחלק הכי טוב היה שזה היה זול משקה

I don't remember well but we paid just some  dollars for five cups of chai tea isn't that great  

אני לא זוכר טוב אבל שילמנו רק כמה דולרים עבור חמש כוסות תה צ'אי זה לא כזה נהדר

and also people are very friendly  loved their culture it's just fantastic

וגם אנשים מאוד ידידותיים אהבו את התרבות שלהם זה פשוט פנטסטי

we bought colorful souvenirs such  as clothes Rings hats and cups

קנינו מזכרות צבעוניות כמו בגדים טבעות כובעים וכובעים

yeah it sounds good but I suppose you didn't  enjoy that trip much because of your family

כן זה נשמע טוב אבל אני מניח שלא נהנית מהטיול הזה הרבה בגלל המשפחה שלך

or what do you mean I don't understand why  couldn't I enjoy my trip because of my family

או מה זאת אומרת אני לא מבין למה לא יכולתי ליהנות מהטיול בגלל המשפחה שלי

because you went with your family  you had to be with them all the time

בגלל שהלכת עם המשפחה שלך היית צריך להיות איתם כל הזמן

yeah so what is that a problem I  really don't understand what you mean

no it's nothing and when was the last  time you went to a party I want to know

to be honest I don't remember  well oh yeah we went last month

one of my wife's friends had a birthday  so she invited us we bought a present

לאחת מחברותיה של אשתי היה יום הולדת אז היא הזמינה אותנו קנינו מתנה

we didn't know it was gonna be a  big party but it was it was crazy

שלא ידענו שזו הולכת להיות מסיבה גדולה אבל זה היה מטורף

we danced the whole night we sang  many songs karaoke it was funny

רקדנו כל הלילה שרנו הרבה שירים קריוקי זה היה מצחיק

oh come on that's not a real party  didn't you drink alcohol and got drunk

אוי בחייך, זו לא מסיבה אמיתית, לא שתית אלכוהול והשתכרת

or no I used to do that when  I was single but not anymore

או לא הייתי עושה את זה כשהייתי רווק אבל כבר לא

I don't like that now I love spending  good time with my family I can't get drunk

you see that's not funny  you're not free you are a slave

a slave no I mean I can get drunk if  I want but I don't I'm fine like this

if you say so and when was the last  time you went out with your friends

with my friends well I don't see my friends  very often I just play soccer with them

עם החברים שלי טוב אני לא רואה את החברים שלי מאוד לעתים קרובות אני פשוט משחק איתם כדורגל

and about my friends from  school you are one of them

ולגבי החברים שלי מבית הספר אתה אחד מהם

you must know I have many friends  I go out with them every Friday

that's only one of the advantages of  not having children but you don't know

I don't want to have any children I couldn't  enjoy my life if I did that impossible

oh I get it now Frank I know you're  happy to be single and not have children

and that's okay I mean it's your  decision and I respect that but

there's not just one way to be happy my  friend you can have children get married or

be single or go to the parties every day  and that would also be okay believe me

you decided not to get married and that's amazing  I decided to get married and have children

שהחלטת לא להתחתן וזה מדהים אני החלטתי להתחתן וללדת ילדים

and that's amazing too I enjoy every single  day with my family I love them so much

וגם זה מדהים אני נהנה מכל יום עם המשפחה שלי אני אוהב אותם כל כך הרבה

feelings are probably different but the important  thing is to enjoy life does not matter how  

הרגשות כנראה שונים אבל הדבר החשוב  זה ליהנות מהחיים לא משנה כמה

I don't need to get drunk to be happy or  I don't need to go out every Fridays no

אני לא צריך להשתכר כדי להיות שמח או אני לא צריך לצאת כל יום שישי לא

but that's just my case it's not yours and it's  fine again the important is to be happy right

אבל זה רק המקרה שלי זה לא שלך וזה בסדר שוב חשוב להיות שמח נכון

no no no that's not true how can  you be happy living like that

לא לא לא זה לא נכון איך אתה יכול להיות שמח לחיות ככה

I don't accept that life is better without  children without a wife or those responsibilities  

אני לא קבל את זה שהחיים טובים יותר בלי ילדים בלי אישה או האחריות האלה

yeah for you maybe but not for me and  that's okay we don't have to think alike

כן בשבילך אולי אבל לא בשבילי וזה בסדר אנחנו לא צריכים לחשוב דומה

when was the last time you talked to a  friend about your life about your feelings

מתי הייתה הפעם האחרונה שדיברת עם חבר על החיים שלך על הרגשות שלך

I don't do that I am happy like this  life's short and we need to enjoy it

אל תעשה את זה אני שמח כמו החיים האלה קצרים ואנחנו צריכים להנות מהם

I think I have to go and it was good to see  you I will go and meet my friends to have fun
