well our neighbors told me they saw you with  a girl I mean I suppose she's your girlfriend  

and that's okay you can have a girlfriend  whenever you want but I also want to meet her  

I would like to know who she is where she comes  from where she lives and what kind of person she  

is I know I sound like a tiresome old man but  it's important for me to meet your girlfriend

so why don't you bring her home we  could have lunch someday or dinner

what does she like to eat I mean what's her  favorite dish I'm not an expert chef but I  

can cook well does she like pasta or maybe she  prefers chicken or I can also cook some stew

that stop what are you talking  about I don't have a girlfriend

you don't have to lie to me I know you're dating  someone and I just want to meet her that's all

we don't have to eat lunch maybe we can go  for a cup of coffee or we can go to the mall

I am free on Saturday I won't work that  day why don't we go to the mall that day

do you like the idea we can have some ice cream  and then go to the movies if you both want

that you're very funny I'm telling  you I don't have a girlfriend

seriously and that girl you were with last  time don't tell me she's only your friend

well yeah she's only my friend well  in fact she's my best friend Maritza

and we were going to her house to pick  up some books to study for the final exam

so when you are looking at the qualities that  a perfect life partner should have look at the  

overall picture the personality the compatibility  the similarities the similarities and ideologies  

what's the point of a pretty girl being rude  to you for example so make a prudent choice

also respect is really important son all said  and done you can weigh your options all you want  

but if a relationship lacks respect  it's as good as a death trap believe me  

you will end up feeling suffocated respect for  you your family your choices your ideologies

your priorities are all an important aspect  in your relationship so mind yourself

also you have to ask yourself something  how does this person treat their family

her mom and dad her brothers and  sisters her grandparents her friends

it's simple if she does not treat them with  kindness and respect she's not the right person

families the core of our relationships these  are the people you have known the longest

and should have the deepest connection to  of course not all families get along and

unfortunately some people have really  

difficult family situations but  a person you're looking to love

should not disrespect a family that  emotionally supports them remember that

another important thing are you thinking  you can change this person please don't

as I've heard once when someone  chose you who you are believe them

you cannot change a person  the person you are dating  

should be right for you as they  are or they are not right for you

good you want the person you are dating to have  the idea of changing you into someone you are not

it will not end well seriously  so be careful with that please  

finally and as you had said before what's the rush

that they will come when you will meet that  beautiful and perfect girl for you so don't rush

take your time to make good friends and to  know them very well first that's the idea
