There is a great phrase in English that expresses the need to do something now, without any hesitation,

英語には、ためらうことなく、今すぐ何かをする必要性を表現する素晴らしいフレーズがあります。

The phrase is... ‘There is no time like the present’.

そのフレーズは...「現在ほど時間はありません」です。

This phrase is often used when we want to emphasise the importance of taking action straight away.

このフレーズは、すぐに行動を起こすことの重要性を強調したいときによく使われます。

The present is now,

which is often seen as the best time to do something.

何かをするのに最適な時期であると考えられています。

However, while this phrase serves as a good way of motivating oneself,

it is not always a good idea to rush in or do something

without some sort of consideration taking place first.

To hesitate is not necessarily a bad thing.

For example, perhaps you are planning to buy an expensive car.

You can't afford to pay for it in one go.

So you will instead take out a loan.

In this situation, there will be many things to consider.

This is a decision that cannot be made lightly.

Sometimes it is better not to rush into doing something,

without first giving it careful consideration.

You might call this a considered purchase.

A thing that cannot be rushed into.

Sometimes you must avoid making a rash decision.

The rash decision is something you do without thinking about it.

So it is possible to do something too quickly.

We can say that a person ‘jumped in with both feet’.

They did not take time to consider what it was they were getting into.

So whilst making a quick decision and not hesitating is a good thought,

in reality it might be wise to wait before making a firm commitment.

Especially one where a binding contract or a large sum of money is involved.

Of course, when it comes to living every day to its fullest and not missing out on those important moments,
