What is it about the season of spring

春になると 、踊りたくなる、歌いたくなる

that makes me want to dance and sing?

のはなぜですか ?

Is it the colour bursting out with Glee

Glee のはじける色でしょうか

or the first Buzz Buzz of the Bumblebee?

、それともバンブルビーの最初の Buzz Buzz でしょうか?

The daffodils waving their colours as they sway.

水仙が色を揺らしながら揺れています。

What a joy to be out on a springtime day.

春の日に外に出るのはなんと嬉しいことでしょう。

The poets with their prose  all delight in the glow,

The spring nights become  shorter and the days grow long.

春の夜は短くなり、日は長くなります。

The birds begin calling their mating song.

鳥たちは交尾の歌を歌い始めます。

Spring is to me a time to give birth,

私にとって春は出産の時期であり、

a time to replenish the air and the Earth,

空気と地球に潤いを与える時期です。

so take in a deep breath  and I'm sure you'll agree,

深呼吸してください。そうすれば、

that spring is a glorious season to see.

春が素晴らしい季節であることにきっと同意していただけると思います。

I don’t know why, but I always get  excited as spring arrives here in England.

理由はわかりませんが、ここイギリスに春が来るといつもワクワクします。

It really is a wonderful time of year,

長い冬の数ヶ月が終わり、自然が目覚める

as nature wakes up after  the long winter months. Those horrible cold days.

この時期は、一年で本当に素晴らしい時期です 。 あの恐ろしく寒い日々。

The first of March signifies the beginning  of what we call meteorological spring.

3 月 1 日は、いわゆる気象上の春の始まりを意味します。

That is to say we have left  those dull and dismal winter days

つまり、私たちはあの鈍くて陰鬱な冬の日々を去り

and now we are heading towards those bright  and sometimes pleasantly warm spring days.

、今は明るく、時には心地よく暖かい春の日々に向かっています。

Although spring mornings can still be quite cold,

春の朝はまだかなり寒いことがありますが、

it is not unusual for the temperature to drop  dramatically during the first few weeks of spring.

春の最初の数週間に気温が急激に下がることは珍しいことではありません。

For example the temperature  here in England last night 

たとえば、ここイギリスでは昨夜の気温が

dropped below freezing, creating a harsh frost.

氷点下に下がり、ひどい霜が降りました。

The good news of course is that the Sun is able to create more heat as it  slowly rises higher in the sky.

もちろん良いニュースは、太陽がゆっくりと空高く昇っていくにつれて、より多くの熱を生み出すことができるということです。

The cold spring mornings soon make way for pleasant and some might  say enjoyable afternoons.

寒い春の朝はすぐに快適な午後になり、楽しい午後になると言う人もいるかもしれません。

There is no doubt that spring is a wonderful season.

春が素晴らしい季節であることは間違いありません。
