Learn the English Phrases "at the end of the day" and "to make a day of it"

In this English lesson I wanted to help you learn the English phrase at the end of the day.

בשיעור האנגלית הזה רציתי לעזור לך ללמוד את הביטוי באנגלית בסוף היום.

Now, this can literally mean at the end of the day.

עכשיו, זה יכול להיות ממש בסופו של יום.

At the end of the day, I go home.

בסוף היום אני הולך הביתה.

Well, at the end of my workday.

But we also use this the same way we use the word ultimately.

To kind of sum up a thought.

When you're working hard at the end of the day, you can only do so much.

So we use the phrase at the end of the day to kind of sum up to kind of

Let me try to think of another example.

The second phrase I wanted to teach you is the phrase to make a day of it.

When you make a day of something, it means something wasn't going to take the whole day.

My favorite type of day for making videos would be cloudy, mild and no wind.

Yes, this is literally my favorite type of day for making a video,
