The sounds /t/ and /d/.

They can be confusing.

They sound quite the same but they are different.

Pareho sila ng tunog pero magkaiba sila.

And they are very important sounds in English

At ang mga ito ay napakahalagang tunog sa Ingles

so I want you to be able to pronounce them correctly.

Let's take two example words first.

Kumuha muna tayo ng dalawang halimbawang salita.

My first word is the word ‘bat’

Ang una kong salita ay ang salitang 'bat'

with a final /t/ sound.
