students often confuse idioms with Proverbs  however these are two different things

Proverbs are well known for stating a piece  of advice or general fact and for example

do not see the wood for the trees to be so  involved in triple matters that you don't get the

important facts he always argues on the silliest  topics it's like he can't see wood for the trees
