good morning Mr Goodman this is James  Liverpool speaking from the sales area

James Liverpool I'm sorry I don't  remember who is your supervisor

my supervisor is Thomas I have already called  him but he told me I need to talk to you

Thomas oh okay you're from the sales area got it

how can I help you today Mr Liverpool did  you have any problem with your supervisor

no there's no problem with anyone I'm calling  to inform you I can't go to work today

you're not coming to work today why  is that you know we can't means work

yes I know sir but as you can listen  I am sick right now I'm really sorry

yesterday I had to pick up my mom from  the airport at about three in the morning

you know we have to be there at the airport  hours before because the flights are not exact

they can land earlier than expected or sometimes  they delay to arrive it's unpredictable well due  

to that I had to stay there the whole night  so I had to sleep on those uncomfortable seats  

the night was pretty cold well the thing is that  I couldn't sleep well last night and I got sick  

now I have a terrible call and a horrible  backache I don't think I can get to work like this  

that's why I'm calling you I have called my  supervisor but he told me to tell you directly

James James look I understand you have  to pick up your mom from the airport

but that can't be an excuse you have to come  to work anyway we need to be responsible

if you had organized yourself you could  have been able to come to work today
