So plural nouns are the form that tells us

With regular nouns, we simply add an s to make them plural.

I want to mention the spelling of irregular nouns,

You sometimes need to add a letter or two

Let me give you some examples,

But first, let's talk about the pronunciation

Listen to the sound 's.'

It's like the sound a snake makes.

It's completely voiceless.

That's a really good way to check

Let's move onto the 'z' sound and when to use it.

'R,' 'vh,' 'v,' or vowel sounds.

So we've gone through quite a lot already,

Here are spelling changes.

I said earlier that some words change their spelling

When a word ends in ies, that 'z' sound is voiced

I have one more section under the 'z' sound,

Luckily, we have some rules for this extra syllable sound.
