Meaning of ALL BARK AND NO BITE and TO LET THE CAT OUT OF THE BAG - A Short English Lesson

So this morning, I did an English lesson

The first phrase, all bark and no bite

refers to, first of all, a dog.

Sometimes you have a dog that barks a lot,

So they are more likely to complain about something
