In this video, I will introduce the future simple tense

ဒီဗီဒီယိုမှာ 'will' နဲ့ 'be going to' ကိုသုံးပြီး

using 'will' and 'be going to'.

အနာဂတ် ရိုးရှင်းတဲ့ tense ကို မိတ်ဆက်ပေးပါမယ် ။

This is a very important tense that will help you express future actions and plans.

၎င်းသည် သင့်အား အနာဂတ်လုပ်ဆောင်မှုများနှင့် အစီအစဉ်များကို ဖော်ပြရာတွင် ကူညီပေးမည့် အလွန်အရေးကြီးသော တင်းမာမှုတစ်ခုဖြစ်သည်။

There's a lot to learn, so let's get started.

The future simple tense can be used to express a future action.

အနာဂတ်လုပ်ဆောင်ချက်တစ်ခုကို ဖော်ပြရန်အတွက် အနာဂတ်ရိုးရိုးတင်းမာမှုကို အသုံးပြုနိုင်သည်။

Let's take a look at some examples.

ဥပမာအချို့ကို လေ့လာကြည့်ရအောင်။

‘I'm cold.’

'ကျွန်တော်အေးတယ်။'

Well that's right now.

ကောင်းပြီ အဲဒါ အခုပဲလေ။

‘I will close the window.’

'ကျွန်တော် ပြတင်းပေါက်ကို ပိတ်လိုက်မယ်။'

We start with the subject ‘will’.

ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် 'ဆန္ဒ' ဟူသော ဘာသာရပ်ဖြင့် စတင်သည်။

And then, the base verb.

ထို့နောက် အခြေခံကြိယာ။

‘I will close the window.’

'ကျွန်တော် ပြတင်းပေါက်ကို ပိတ်လိုက်မယ်။'

In this example, I'm making a sudden decision because how I feel right now.

ဤဥပမာတွင်၊ ကျွန်ုပ်သည် ယခုအချိန်တွင် မည်ကဲ့သို့ ခံစားရသောကြောင့် ကျွန်ုပ်သည် ရုတ်တရက် ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်တစ်ခု ချနေပါသည်။

I will close the window because I'm cold right now.

အခုအေးနေလို့ ပြတင်းပေါက်ကိုပိတ်လိုက်မယ်။

‘I will be at the library tomorrow.’

'မနက်ဖြန် စာကြည့်တိုက်မှာ သွားမယ်။'

Again, you start with the subject and then ‘will’.

တစ်ဖန် သင်သည် ဘာသာရပ်ဖြင့် စတင်ပြီးနောက် 'အလိုတော်'။

After that, you have the base verb.

ထို့နောက်တွင်၊ သင့်တွင် အခြေခံကြိယာရှိသည်။

You can use the ‘be’ verb to talk about a confirmed plan.

အတည်ပြုထားသော အစီအစဉ်အကြောင်းပြောရန် 'be' ကြိယာကို သင်သုံးနိုင်သည်။

‘I will be at the library tomorrow.’

'မနက်ဖြန် စာကြည့်တိုက်မှာ သွားမယ်။'

The economy will get better next year.

နောက်နှစ်တွေမှာ စီးပွားရေး ပိုကောင်းလာမယ်။

In this case, the subject is ‘the economy’.

ဤကိစ္စတွင် ဘာသာရပ်မှာ 'စီးပွားရေး' ဖြစ်သည်။

Again, we follow with ‘will’ and the base verb ‘get’.

နောက်တဖန်၊ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် 'ဆန္ဒ' နှင့် အခြေခံကြိယာ 'get' ဖြင့် လိုက်နာသည်။

‘The economy will get better next year.’

'စီးပွားရေးက နောက်နှစ်မှာ ပိုကောင်းလာမယ်။'

I'm making a prediction here about something that will happen in the future.

အနာဂတ်မှာ ဖြစ်လာမယ့်အရာတွေကို ဒီမှာ ခန့်မှန်းနေပါတယ်။

And finally, ‘I will help you with your homework.’

နောက်ဆုံးအနေနဲ့ 'မင်းအိမ်စာတွေကို ငါကူညီပေးမယ်'

I'm making a future plan to help you.

ငါမင်းကိုကူညီဖို့ အနာဂတ်အစီအစဉ်တစ်ခုလုပ်နေတယ်။

‘I will help you with your homework.’

'မင်းအိမ်စာတွေ ငါကူညီပေးမယ်။'

It doesn't say when but I am talking about the future.

ဘယ်အချိန်ကမှ မပြောပေမယ့် အနာဂတ်အကြောင်း ပြောနေတာ။

Let's move on.

ဆက်ကြရအောင်။

You can also use ‘be going to’ to express a future action.

အနာဂတ်လုပ်ဆောင်ချက်ကို ဖော်ပြရန်အတွက် 'be going to' ကိုလည်း သုံးနိုင်သည်။

It's almost the same as ‘will’.

'ဆန္ဒ' နဲ့ အတူတူနီးပါးပါပဲ။

Here are some examples.

ဤသည်မှာ ဥပမာအချို့ဖြစ်သည်။

‘There's no milk.

'နို့ မရှိဘူး။

I'm going to buy some.’

ငါသွားဝယ်လိုက်ဦးမယ်။'

So what you see here is the subject and then the ‘be’ verb - ‘am’.

ဒီတော့ ဒီမှာမြင်ရတဲ့ အရာက အကြောင်းအရာနဲ့ 'be' ကြိယာ - 'am' ပါ။

‘I am’

'ငါ'

And then here we used a contraction ‘I'm’.

ပြီးတော့ ဒီမှာ 'ငါ' လို့ နှိမ့်ချသုံးတယ်။

‘I'm going to buy some.’

'ကျွန်တော် သွားဝယ်မယ်'

I made a decision to buy some because there's no milk.

နို့မရှိလို့ ဝယ်ဖို့ ဆုံးဖြတ်လိုက်တယ်။

The next sentence says, ‘It looks like it's going to snow tomorrow.’

နောက်စာကြောင်းက 'မနက်ဖြန် နှင်းကျတော့မယ် ထင်တယ်' တဲ့။

Here the subject is ‘it’ and so I use the ‘be’ verb – ‘is’.

ဒီနေရာမှာ အကြောင်းအရာက 'it' ဆိုတော့ ငါ 'be' ကြိယာ - 'is' ကိုသုံးတယ်။

‘it is’

'ဒါ'

‘It's’ is the contraction.

'အဲဒါ' က ကျုံ့တယ်။

‘It's going to’ And then we use the base verb ‘snow’.

'It's going to' ပြီးတော့ အခြေခံကြိယာ 'snow' ကို သုံးပါတယ်။

The word ‘tomorrow’ shows that this is a future action.

'မနက်ဖြန်' ဟူသော စကားလုံးသည် ဤအရာသည် အနာဂတ်လုပ်ဆောင်ချက်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ဖော်ပြသည်။

‘He's going to take a trip in the summer.’

'နွေရာသီမှာ ခရီးထွက်တော့မယ်။'

Because the subject is ‘he’, we use the ‘be’ verb – is.

အကြောင်းအရာက 'he' ဖြစ်သောကြောင့် 'be' ကြိယာကို သုံးသည်။

And we can use the contraction ‘he's’. ‘he is’ or ‘he's’ going to

ပြီးတော့ ကျုံ့ 'he's' ကိုသုံးနိုင်တယ်။ 'he is' or 'he's' going to

And then the base verb ‘take’

ပြီးလျှင် base verb ' take'

‘take a trip in the summer’

' take a trip in the summer'

Again an action happening in the future.

ဟူသော လုပ်ဆောင်ချက်တစ်ခုသည် အနာဂတ်တွင် ဖြစ်ပျက်နေပြန်သည်။

Let's move on.

ဆက်ကြရအောင်။

Now, let's take a look at the negative form of

ကဲ အနာဂတ်ရိုးရိုးတင်းမာမှု

the future simple tense.

ရဲ့ အနုတ်လက္ခဏာပုံစံကို ကြည့်ကြရအောင်

The first example says, ‘Stan will not like his English score.’

။ ပထမဥပမာက 'Stan သည် သူ၏ အင်္ဂလိပ်ရမှတ်ကို နှစ်သက်မည်မဟုတ်' ဟုဆိုသည်။

No matter what the subject is, we follow with ‘will not’ and then the

အကြောင်းအရာက ဘာပဲဖြစ်ဖြစ်၊

base form of the verb.

ကြိယာရဲ့ အခြေခံပုံစံကို 'will' နဲ့ လိုက်နာပါတယ်။

‘Stan will not like his English score.’

'Stan က သူ့ရဲ့ အင်္ဂလိပ်ရမှတ်ကို မကြိုက်ဘူး။'

‘We won't give you money anymore.’

'ငါတို့ မင်းကို ပိုက်ဆံမပေးတော့ဘူး'

In this case, the subject is ‘we’.

ဤကိစ္စတွင်၊ အကြောင်းအရာမှာ 'ငါတို့' ဖြစ်သည်။

And we follow with the contraction ‘won't’.

ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ကျုံ့သွားသည်နှင့် 'မဖြစ်' ပါ။

It sounds really different and it's different from other contractions,

အသံက တကယ်ကို ကွဲပြားပြီး တခြားကျုံ့ခြင်းတွေနဲ့ မတူ

but ‘won't’ is the contraction for ‘will not’

ပေမယ့် 'won't' ဟာ 'will' ရဲ့ contraction ဖြစ်လို့

so you can say ‘we will not’ or ‘we won't’.

'we will not' သို့မဟုတ် 'we won't' လို့ ပြောနိုင်ပါတယ်။

They're the same.

အတူတူပါပဲ။

‘We won't give you money anymore.’

'ငါတို့ မင်းကို ပိုက်ဆံမပေးတော့ဘူး'

Again, you notice the base verb ‘give’ after ‘not’.

တစ်ဖန်၊ 'not' ပြီးနောက် အခြေခံကြိယာ 'give' ကို သတိထားမိသည်။

‘He is not going to fly until next week.’

'သူ နောက်အပတ်အထိ ပျံသန်းမှာ မဟုတ်ဘူး။'

This sentence uses ‘be going to’.

ဒီဝါကျမှာ 'be going to' ကို သုံးပါတယ်။

The subject is ‘he’.

အကြောင်းအရာကတော့ 'သူ' ပါ။

And therefore the ‘be’ verb we use is – ‘is’

ထို့ကြောင့် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သုံးသော 'be' ကြိယာမှာ - 'is'

However we put a ‘not’ after the ‘be’ verb.

သို့ပေသော်လည်း 'be' ကြိယာနောက်တွင် 'not' ရှိသည်။

‘He is not going to …’ And then the base verb.

'He is not going to…' ပြီးမှ base verb ပါ။

‘He is not going to fly until next week.’

'သူ နောက်အပတ်အထိ ပျံသန်းမှာ မဟုတ်ဘူး။'

The last sentence says, ‘You are not going to go to the party tonight.’

နောက်ဆုံးစာကြောင်းက 'မင်း ဒီည ပါတီကို မသွားဘူး' လို့ပြောထားတယ်။

The subject is ‘you’ and so we use the ‘be’ verb – ‘are’.

အကြောင်းအရာမှာ 'သင်' ဖြစ်သောကြောင့် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် 'be' ကြိယာ - 'are' ကိုသုံးသည်။

‘You are not going to go …’ That's the base verb.

'မင်းမသွားဘူး…' အဲဒါ အခြေခံကြိယာပါ။

‘… to the party tonight.’

'... ဒီည ပါတီကို သွားမယ်။'

Let's move on.

ဆက်ကြရအောင်။

Now let's take a look at how to form basic questions in the future simple tense.

အခု ရိုးရှင်းတဲ့ အနာဂတ်မှာ အခြေခံမေးခွန်းတွေကို ဘယ်လိုပုံစံရမလဲဆိုတာ လေ့လာကြည့်ရအောင်။

The first sentence says, ‘He will play with us.’

ပထမစာကြောင်းက 'သူ ငါတို့နဲ့ ကစားမယ်' တဲ့။

To turn this into a question, all we have to do is change the order of the

၎င်းကို မေးခွန်းတစ်ခုအဖြစ် ပြောင်းလဲရန် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့လုပ်ဆောင်ရမည့်အရာမှာ

first two words.

ပထမစကားလုံးနှစ်လုံး၏ အစီအစဥ်ကို ပြောင်းလဲခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။

So ‘He will becomes ‘Will he’.

ဒီတော့ 'သူ' ဖြစ်လာလိမ့်မယ် ။

‘Will he play with us?’

'သူ ငါတို့နဲ့ ကစားမှာလား။'

‘The next sentence says, ‘He is going to play with us.’

'နောက်စာကြောင်းက 'သူ ငါတို့နဲ့ ကစားမယ်' တဲ့။

This one uses ‘be going to’.

ဒါက 'be going to' ကိုသုံးပါတယ်။

The subject is ‘he’.

အကြောင်းအရာကတော့ 'သူ' ပါ။

And so the ‘be’ verb to use is – ‘is’.

ဒါကြောင့် 'be' ကြိယာက – 'is' ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Then we have ‘going to’ and then the base verb.

ပြီးရင် 'going to' နဲ့ base verb ရှိတယ်။

‘He is going to play with us.’

'သူ ငါတို့နဲ့ ကစားတော့မယ်။'

When I make a question, I simply again change the order of the first two words.

မေးခွန်းတစ်ခုမေးတဲ့အခါ ပထမစကားလုံးနှစ်လုံးရဲ့ အစီအစဥ်ကို ရိုးရိုးရှင်းရှင်းပဲ ထပ်ပြီးပြောင်းလိုက်တယ်။

‘Is he going to play with us?’

'သူ ငါတို့နဲ့ ကစားမှာလား။'

Now if the subject were to be ‘you’ or ‘we’ or ‘they’,

အခုအကြောင်းအရာက 'မင်း' ဒါမှမဟုတ် 'ငါ' ဒါမှမဟုတ် 'သူတို့' ဆိုရင်

we would say ‘they are’.

ငါတို့က 'သူတို့' လို့ပြောလိမ့်မယ်။

And so the question would say, ‘Are they'.

ဒီတော့ မေးခွန်းက 'အဲဒါတွေလား' တဲ့။

'Are they going to play with them?’

'သူတို့နဲ့ ကစားမှာလား။'

for example.

ဥပမာအားဖြင့်။

So again, remember, for ‘will’ in the future simple tense,

ဒီတော့ နောက်တဖန် 'will' ဟာ အနာဂတ်ရဲ့ ရိုးရှင်းတဲ့ tense မှာ

just say ‘will’ subject and then the base form of the verb.

'will' ဆိုတဲ့ အကြောင်းအရာနဲ့ ကြိယာရဲ့ အခြေခံပုံစံကို ပြောရုံပါပဲ။

However for ‘be going to’ questions, make sure that you pay attention to the proper

သို့သော် 'be's mus' မေးခွန်းများအတွက်၊ မေးခွန်းအစတွင် အသုံးပြုရန်

'be' verb to use at the beginning of the question.

သင့်လျော်သော 'be' ကြိယာကို သေချာအာရုံစိုက်ပါ

To answer the first question, ‘Will he play with us?’

။ ပထမမေးခွန်းကို ဖြေရန် 'သူ ငါတို့နဲ့ ကစားမှာလား။'

You can say ‘Yes, he will’ or ‘No, he won't’.

'ဟုတ်တယ်၊ သူလုပ်မယ်' ဒါမှမဟုတ် 'မဟုတ်ဘူး၊ သူလုပ်မှာမဟုတ်ဘူး' လို့ပြောနိုင်တယ်။

‘Is he going to play with us?’

'သူ ငါတို့နဲ့ ကစားမှာလား။'

You can say, ‘Yes, he's going to’ or ‘No, he isn't going to’.

'ဟုတ်ကဲ့ သူသွားတော့မယ်' ဒါမှမဟုတ် 'မဟုတ်ဘူး၊ သူ မသွားဘူး' လို့ ပြောနိုင်ပါတယ်။

Let's move on.

ဆက်ကြရအောင်။

Let's look at how to form ‘WH’ questions in the future simple tense.

ရိုးရှင်းသောအနာဂတ်တွင် 'WH' မေးခွန်းများကို မည်သို့ဖွဲ့စည်းရမည်ကို ကြည့်ကြပါစို့။

If you notice each question begins with a ‘WH’ word.

မေးခွန်းတစ်ခုစီတိုင်းကို 'WH' စကားလုံးဖြင့် အစပြုသည်ကို သတိပြုမိသည်။

Who

When

Who

Where

Where

And What

And What

The first two sentences use ‘will’ for the future simple tense.

ပထမစာကြောင်းနှစ်ခုသည် အနာဂတ်ရိုးရှင်းသော tense အတွက် 'will' ကို အသုံးပြုသည်။

‘Who will win the game?’

'ဂိမ်းကို ဘယ်သူအနိုင်ရမလဲ။'

To answer I can say, ‘My team will win the game.’

'ကျွန်ုပ်၏အသင်းသည် ဂိမ်းကိုအနိုင်ရလိမ့်မည်' ဟု ကျွန်ုပ်ဖြေဆိုနိုင်ပါသည်။

‘When will they arrive?’

'သူတို့ ဘယ်တော့ ရောက်မှာလဲ'

‘They will arrive in two hours.’

'သူတို့ နှစ်နာရီအတွင်း ရောက်လိမ့်မယ်။'

Now these two sentences have ‘be going to’.

အခု ဒီစာကြောင်းနှစ်ကြောင်းက 'ဖြစ်တော့မယ်'။

‘Where is he going to study?’

'သူဘယ်သွားမလို့လဲ'

In this case, I have the ‘be’ verb – ‘is’ because the subject is ‘he’.

ဒီနေရာမှာ ဘာသာရပ်က 'သူ' ဆိုတော့ 'be' ကြိယာ 'is' ရှိတယ်။

‘Where is he going to study?’

'သူဘယ်သွားမလို့လဲ'

I can say, ‘He is going to study at the library.’

'သူ စာကြည့်တိုက်မှာ စာသင်တော့မယ်' လို့ ပြောလို့ရတယ်။

And finally, ‘What are you going to do?’

နောက်ဆုံးတော့ 'မင်းဘာလုပ်မှာလဲ'

In this case, I use the ‘be’ verb – ‘are’ because the subject is ‘you’.

ဒီနေရာမှာ ဘာသာရပ်က 'မင်း' ဖြစ်လို့ 'be' ကြိယာ - 'are' ကို သုံးပါတယ်။

‘What are you going to do?’

'မင်းဘာလုပ်မလို့လဲ?'

‘I am going to take a shower.’

'ငါ ရေချိုးတော့မယ်'

Let's move on.

ဆက်ကြရအောင်။

For this checkup let's take a look at the will usage for the future simple tense.

ဤစစ်ဆေးမှုအတွက် အနာဂတ်ရိုးရှင်းသောအချိန်အတွက် အလိုတော်အသုံးပြုမှုကို ကြည့်ကြပါစို့။

The first example says, ‘Jen and Paul [blank] home soon’

ပထမဥပမာက 'Jen and Paul [blank] home soon'

with the verb ‘go’.

လို့ ကြိယာ 'go' ပါ။

Remember, when using ‘will’ for the future simple tense,

အနာဂတ်ရိုးရိုးတင်းမာမှုအတွက် 'အလိုတော်' ကိုအသုံးပြုသောအခါ၊

it doesn't matter what the subject is.

အကြောင်းအရာသည် မည်သို့မျှ အရေးမကြီးကြောင်း သတိရပါ။

We say ‘will’ and then the base verb.

ငါတို့က 'will' လို့ ပြောပြီးတော့ အခြေခံကြိယာ။

So here we can say, ‘Jen and Paul’ or ‘They will go home soon’.

ဒါကြောင့် ဒီနေရာမှာ 'Jen နဲ့ Paul' ဒါမှမဟုတ် 'သူတို့အိမ်ပြန်တော့မယ်' လို့ ပြောနိုင်ပါတယ်။

‘I [blank] a scientist after I graduate.’

'ကျွန်တော်ဘွဲ့ရပြီးတဲ့ သိပ္ပံပညာရှင်တစ်ယောက်ပါ။'

Try filling in the blank with ‘be’.

ကွက်လပ်ကို 'be' ဖြင့် ဖြည့်ကြည့်ပါ။

Again, we simply say ‘will be’.

နောက်တဖန်၊ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် 'ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်' ဟု ရိုးရိုးရှင်းရှင်းပြောပါ။

‘I will be a scientist after I graduate.’

'ကျွန်တော်ဘွဲ့ရပြီးရင် သိပ္ပံပညာရှင်ဖြစ်မယ်'

Now try this one, ‘We [blank] that because it smells bad.’

အခု ဒီတစ်ခုကို စမ်းကြည့်ပါ၊ 'ငါတို့ [အလွတ်] က အနံ့မကောင်းလို့။'

I want you to use the negative form with the verb ‘eat’.

မင်းကို ကြိယာ 'eat' နဲ့ အနှုတ်ပုံစံ သုံးစေချင်တယ်။

Here we say, ‘will not eat’ or remember we can use the contraction ‘won't’.

ဤတွင်ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ပြောသည်မှာ 'မစားရ' သို့မဟုတ် ကျုံ့ခြင်း 'မဖြစ်' ကိုသုံးနိုင်သည်။

‘We will not eat that’ or ‘We won't eat that because it smells bad’.

'ငါတို့မစားဘူး' ဒါမှမဟုတ် 'အနံ့ဆိုးလို့ ငါတို့မစားဘူး'

Now look for the mistake in this sentence.

အခု ဒီစာကြောင်းရဲ့ အမှားကို ရှာကြည့်ပါ။

‘I will eat a pizza for lunch.’

'နေ့လည်စာ ပီဇာစားမယ်'

Remember, we need the base form of the verb.

ကြိယာ၏အခြေခံပုံစံလိုအပ်သည်ကို သတိရပါ။

‘I will eat a pizza for lunch.’

'နေ့လည်စာ ပီဇာစားမယ်'

‘Angie and I will playing a game.’

'အန်ဂျီနဲ့ ငါ ဂိမ်းဆော့မယ်'

Again we need the base form of the verb.

တစ်ဖန် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ကြိယာ၏ အခြေခံပုံစံကို လိုအပ်သည်။

Angie and I will play a game.’

Angie နဲ့ ငါ ဂိမ်းဆော့မယ်'

And finally, ‘Will she be cook dinner?’

နောက်ဆုံးတော့ 'သူမ ညစာ ချက်ပြုတ်မှာလား။'

This is a question.

ဒါက မေးခွန်းတစ်ခုပါ။

However we need to say, ‘Will she cook dinner.’

ဒါပေမယ့် 'သူထမင်းချက်မှာလား' လို့ပြောရမယ်။

We do not need a ‘be’ verb here.

ဤနေရာတွင် 'be' ကြိယာ မလိုအပ်ပါ။

Let's move on.

ဆက်ကြရအောင်။

Let's practice the ‘be going to’ usage of the future simple tense.

အနာဂတ်ရိုးရှင်းသောအချိန်၏ 'be going to' အသုံးပြုမှုကို လေ့ကျင့်ကြပါစို့။

I want you to use the verb ‘watch’.

Remember, for ‘be going to’ in the future simple tense,

အနာဂတ်ရိုးရိုးတင်းမာမှုတွင် 'be't go' အတွက်၊

we start with the subject and then the ‘be’ verb.

The subject here is ‘we’.

In a question, especially a ‘WH’ question, we start with the ‘WH’ word,

and then the ‘be’ verb.

'be' ကြိယာဖြစ်သည်။

‘are’ is the correct ‘be’ verb because the subject is ‘you’.

Then we have ‘going to’.

And again, the base form of the verb.

‘Why are you going to go?’

Now try to find the mistake in the next sentence.

အခု နောက်ဝါကျမှာ အမှားကို ရှာကြည့်ပါ။

‘You are going to studying at home.’

'မင်းအိမ်မှာ စာကျက်တော့မယ်'

Can you find the mistake?

အမှားကို ရှာတွေ့နိုင်မလား။

‘You are going to’ that's correct.

'မင်းသွားတော့မယ်' ဒါမှန်တယ်။

But we need the base form of the verb.

သို့သော်ကြိယာ၏အခြေခံပုံစံလိုအပ်သည်။

‘You are going to study at home.’

'မင်းအိမ်မှာ စာကျက်တော့မယ်'

‘You will be going to learn English.’

'မင်းအင်္ဂလိပ်စာ သင်ယူတော့မယ်။'

‘You will be going’

'မင်းသွားတော့မယ်'

That sounds a little strange.

အဲဒါက နည်းနည်းထူးဆန်းတယ်။

Remember, we don't need the ‘will’ here.

We're using ‘be going to’ and we need to change the ‘be’ verb to match the subject.

We don't need both, so we say, ‘Is he going to play soccer?’

This tense can be used to express an ongoing action in the future.

One usage of the future continuous tense

is to talk about an ongoing action that will happen in the future.

အနာဂတ်တွင်ဖြစ်ပျက်မည့် ဆက်လက်လုပ်ဆောင်မှုတစ်ခုအကြောင်း ပြောဆိုခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။

We include when this action will be happening.

ဤလုပ်ဆောင်ချက်သည် မည်သည့်အချိန်တွင် ဖြစ်ပျက်မည်နည်း။

We can use ‘will be’ or ‘be going to be’.

'will' သို့မဟုတ် 'be going' ကို သုံးနိုင်သည်။

To do this, let's take a look at some examples.

‘I will be taking the test soon.’

So you can see here we have the subject and then ‘will be’.

After that, we include verb +ing.

The word ‘soon’ at the end of this sentence indicates when this action will be happening.

ဤဝါကျ၏အဆုံးတွင် 'မကြာမီ' ဟူသော စကားလုံးသည် မည်သည့်အချိန်တွင် ဖြစ်ပျက်လာမည်ကို ညွှန်ပြသည်။

‘I am going to be taking the test soon.’

'ငါ မကြာခင် စာမေးပွဲ ဖြေရတော့မယ်။'

This sentence means the same thing as the first sentence,

ဤဝါကျသည် ပထမဝါကျနှင့် အတူတူပင်ဖြစ်သော်လည်း

but instead of ‘will be’, we used ‘be going to be’.

' will be' အစား 'be going' ကို သုံးသည်။

Here the subject is ‘I’.

And therefore we have the ‘be’ verb ‘am’.

I can also use the contraction and say.

ကျုံ့ပြီးပြောလို့ရတယ်။

‘I'm going to be taking the test soon.’

The next sentence says, ‘He will be sleeping by 10 p.m.’

နောက်စာကြောင်းက 'သူ 10 နာရီထိုးမှ အိပ်မယ်'

And the last sentence says, ‘They are going to be …’

ဆိုပြီး နောက်ဆုံးစာကြောင်းက 'သူတို့ ဖြစ်တော့မယ်...'

Here, because the subject is ‘they’, we use ‘are’.

ဆိုတော့ အကြောင်းအရာက 'သူတို့' ဆိုတော့ 'are' သုံးပါတယ်။

‘They are going to be studying …’ There's the verb +ing

'သူတို့ စာသင်တော့မယ်…' There's the verb +ing

‘… next October.’

'... လာမည့် အောက်တိုဘာလ။'

‘by 10 pm’ and ‘next October’ show when these actions will be happening.

'ည ၁၀ နာရီ နောက်ဆုံးထားပြီး' နှင့် 'လာမည့် အောက်တိုဘာလ' တွင် အဆိုပါ လုပ်ဆောင်ချက်များ မည်သည့်အချိန်တွင် ပြုလုပ်မည်ကို ပြသသည်။

Let's move on.

ဆက်ကြရအောင်။

The future continuous tense is also used to show

အနာဂတ် စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် တင်းမာမှု

that a short action in the future is happening

ကိုလည်း အနာဂတ်တွင် တိုတောင်းသော လုပ်ဆောင်ချက်တစ်ခု ဖြစ်ပျက်

during or while a longer action is in progress in the future,.

နေချိန် သို့မဟုတ် အနာဂတ်တွင် ပိုမိုကြာရှည်စွာ လုပ်ဆောင်နေချိန်တွင် ဖြစ်သည် ကို ပြသရန်လည်း အသုံးပြုပါသည် ။

We can use the word ‘when’ to show when the shorter action occurs.

တိုတောင်းသော လုပ်ဆောင်ချက် ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာသည့်အခါ ပြသရန် 'အချိန်' ဟူသော စကားလုံးကို ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ သုံးနိုင်သည်။

Take a look at the first example,

'သူတို့ရောက်လာရင် ငါအိပ်မယ်' ဆိုတဲ့

‘I will be sleeping when they arrive.’

ပထမဥပမာကို ကြည့်ပါ

Here we see two actions,

‘I will be sleeping’ and ‘they arrive’.

The part of the sentence that's in the future continuous tense is the longer action

that's in progress in the future.

အနာဂတ်တွင် လုပ်ဆောင်နေသည့် ကြာကြာလုပ်ဆောင်မှု ဖြစ်သည်။

‘I will be sleeping.’

'ငါ အိပ်တော့မယ်'

Remember, ‘I will be’ and then verb +ing.

'I will be' ပြီးနောက် ကြိယာ +ing ကို သတိရပါ။

This is the action that is ongoing in the future.

ဒါက အနာဂတ်မှာ လုပ်နေတဲ့ လုပ်ရပ်ပါ။

Then we see ‘when they arrive’.

ထို့နောက် 'သူတို့ရောက်လာသောအခါ' ဟု ကျွန်ုပ်တို့မြင်သည်။

This is in the present tense.

ဤသည်ကား ပစ္စုပ္ပန်ကာလ၌ ဖြစ်၏။

‘they arrive’

'သူတို့ရောက်လာတယ်'

This is the shorter action that happens while this action is ongoing.

ဟူသည်မှာ ဤလုပ်ဆောင်ချက်ကို ဆက်လက်လုပ်ဆောင်နေချိန်တွင် ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာသည့် တိုတောင်းသော လုပ်ဆောင်ချက်ဖြစ်သည်။

‘We will be having dinner when the movie starts.’

'ရုပ်ရှင်စပြီး ညစာစားကြမယ်။'

This is very similar to the first sentence.

ဤသည်မှာ ပထမစာကြောင်းနှင့် အလွန်ဆင်တူသည်။

‘We will be having dinner …’

'ငါတို့ ညစာစားကြမယ်...'

That's the ongoing action that will happen in the future.

အဲဒါက အနာဂတ်မှာ ဖြစ်လာမယ့် လုပ်ရပ်ပါ။

And while this is happening, the movie will start.

ဒီလိုဖြစ်နေချိန်မှာတော့ ရုပ်ရှင်စတော့မှာပါ။

But again, we use the present tense here.

ဒါပေမယ့် ဒီနေရာမှာ ပစ္စုပ္ပန်ကာလကို သုံးပါတယ်။

‘the movie starts’

'ရုပ်ရှင်စပြီ'

So we will be having dinner when the movie starts.

ဒါနဲ့ ရုပ်ရှင်စတော့မယ်ဆိုရင် ညစာစားမယ်။

‘Tina is going to be working when you leave.’

'Tina မင်းထွက်သွားရင် အလုပ်သွားတော့မယ်။'

Remember, we can use ‘be going to be’ in this tense so,

ဒီတင်းမာမှုမှာ 'ဖြစ်မယ်' လို့ သုံးနိုင်တာမို့

‘She is going to be working when you leave.’

'မင်းထွက်သွားတဲ့အခါ သူမ အလုပ်လုပ်တော့မှာ' ဆိုတာကို သတိရပါ။

This shorter action will happen while this ongoing action is in progress.

ဤလုပ်ဆောင်ဆဲလုပ်ဆောင်ချက်ကို လုပ်ဆောင်နေချိန်တွင် ဤတိုတောင်းသောလုပ်ဆောင်ချက်သည် ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာမည်ဖြစ်သည်။

And finally, ‘It will be raining when you go shopping’.

Again, this is the ongoing action.

နောက်တစ်ခုက ဒါက လုပ်နေတဲ့ လုပ်ဆောင်ချက်ပါ။

And this is the shorter action.

ပြီးတော့ ဒါက ပိုတိုတဲ့ လုပ်ဆောင်ချက်ပါ။

Let's move on.

Now, I'll talk about the negative form of the future continuous tense.

အခု ကျွန်တော်ပြောမယ့် အနာဂတ် စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် တင်းမာမှုရဲ့ အဆိုးမြင်ပုံစံ။

Here are some examples:

ဤသည်မှာ ဥပမာအချို့ဖြစ်သည်-

‘He will not be reading before bed.’

'သူသည် အိပ်ရာမဝင်မီစာဖတ်မည်မဟုတ်'။

For the negative form, after the subject and ‘will’, we say ‘not be’.

အနှုတ်ပုံစံအတွက်၊ အကြောင်းအရာနှင့် 'ဆန္ဒ' ပြီးနောက်၊ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် 'မဖြစ်' ဟုဆိုသည်။

And then verb +ing.

ပြီးရင် ကြိယာ +ing ။

‘He will not be reading before bed.’

'သူ အိပ်ရာမဝင်ခင် စာမဖတ်ဘူး'

He'll be doing something else.

သူ တခြားတစ်ခုခုလုပ်တော့မယ်။

The next sentence says,

နောက်စာကြောင်းက

‘My dad won't be cheering when the game ends.’

'အဖေက ပွဲပြီးရင် အားပေးမှာမဟုတ်ဘူး' တဲ့။

So this is very similar to the first sentence.

ဒီတော့ ဒါက ပထမစာကြောင်းနဲ့ အရမ်းတူတယ်။

We have the subject, ‘my dad,’

ကျွန်ုပ်တို့တွင် 'ဖေဖေ' ဟူသော အကြောင်းအရာ ရှိပြီး

and instead of ‘will not’ we use the contraction ‘won't’.

'မလုပ်' အစား ကျုံ့ခြင်း 'မဖြစ်' ကို သုံးပါသည်။

Remember, ‘won't’ is a contraction for ‘will not’.

'won't' သည် ' will not' အတွက် ကျုံ့ခြင်းဖြစ်သည်ကို သတိရပါ။

‘My dad won't …’ and then we have ‘be’ verb +ing.

'အဖေ မဟုတ်ဘူး…' ပြီးတော့ ငါတို့မှာ 'be' ကြိယာ +ing ရှိတယ်။

‘My dad won't be cheering when the game ends.’

'ပွဲပြီးသွားတဲ့အခါ အဖေက အားပေးမှာမဟုတ်ဘူး။'

The next sentence says, ‘He is not going to be working tomorrow.’

နောက်စာကြောင်းက 'သူ မနက်ဖြန် အလုပ်မသွားဘူး' တဲ့။

Here we have the ‘be going to be’.

ဒီမှာ 'ဖြစ်မယ်' ရှိတယ်။

So ‘he’ is the subject and so we use the ‘be’ verb ‘is’.

ဒါကြောင့် 'he' ဟာ subject ဖြစ်တဲ့အတွက်ကြောင့် 'be' verb 'is' ကို သုံးပါတယ်။

After the ‘be’ verb, we say ‘not’.

'be' ကြိယာနောက်မှာ 'not' လို့ ပြောကြတယ်။

He is not going to ‘be’ verb +ing.

သူသည် 'be' ကြိယာ +ing မဟုတ်ပါ။

‘He is not going to be working tomorrow.’

'မနက်ဖြန် အလုပ်မသွားဘူး'

Remember, we can also use a contraction here and say,

ဤနေရာတွင် ကျုံ့ခြင်းကိုလည်း အသုံးပြုနိုင်ပြီး

‘He isn't going to be working tomorrow.’

'သူ မနက်ဖြန် အလုပ်မလုပ်တော့ပါ' ဟု ပြောနိုင်ကြောင်း သတိရပါ။

That's okay as well.

ဒါလည်း အဆင်ပြေပါတယ်။

‘We aren't going to be shopping on Sunday.’

'ငါတို့ တနင်္ဂနွေမှာ ဈေးဝယ်ထွက်မှာ မဟုတ်ဘူး။'

Here the subject is ‘we’.

ဒီနေရာမှာ ဘာသာရပ်က 'ငါ' ပါ။

And so the ‘be’ verb to use is ‘are’.

ဒါကြောင့် 'be' ကြိယာက 'are' ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

I use the contraction here ‘aren't’ for ‘are not’.

ဒီနေရာမှာ 'are't' ကို 'are not' အတွက် သုံးပါတယ်။

‘We are not …’ or ‘We aren't going to be shopping on Sunday.’

'ငါတို့ မဟုတ်ဘူး…' ဒါမှမဟုတ် 'ငါတို့ တနင်္ဂနွေမှာ ဈေးဝယ်ထွက်မှာ မဟုတ်ဘူး'

Now let's talk about how to form basic questions in the future continuous tense.

Take a look at this first sentence.

ဒီပထမစာကြောင်းကို ကြည့်ပါ။

It says, ‘He will be traveling next month.’

'သူ နောက်လ ခရီးသွားမယ်' လို့ ပြောတယ်။

Now, to turn this into a question,

ယခု ဤအရာကို မေးခွန်းတစ်ခုအဖြစ်ပြောင်းလဲရန်၊

all you have to do is change the order of the first two words.

သင်လုပ်ဆောင်ရမည့်အရာမှာ ပထမစကားလုံးနှစ်လုံး၏ အစီအစဥ်ကို ပြောင်းလဲခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။

So ‘He will’ becomes ‘Will he’.

ဒီတော့ 'သူသွားမယ်' 'Will he' ဖြစ်သွားတယ်။

‘Will he be traveling next month?’

'သူ နောက်လ ခရီးသွားမှာလား။'

You'll notice that the rest of the words don't change.

ကျန်တဲ့ စကားလုံးတွေ မပြောင်းဘူးဆိုတာ သတိထားမိမှာပါ။

Only the first two words.

ပထမစကားလုံးနှစ်လုံးသာ။

So, ‘Will he be traveling next month?’

ဒါဆို 'သူ နောက်လမှာ ခရီးသွားမှာလား။'

To answer you can say, ‘Yes, he will.’

'ဟုတ်တယ်၊ သူလုပ်လိမ့်မယ်' ဟုသင်ဖြေဆိုနိုင်သည်။

or ‘No, he won't.’

ဒါမှမဟုတ် 'မဟုတ်ဘူး၊ သူလုပ်မှာမဟုတ်ဘူး။'

The next sentence says, ‘They are going to be living there.’

နောက်စာကြောင်းက 'သူတို့အဲဒီမှာနေမယ်။'

Again to turn this into a question, simply switch the order of the first two words.

ဒါကို မေးခွန်းတစ်ခုအဖြစ် ပြန်ပြောင်းဖို့အတွက် ပထမစကားလုံးနှစ်လုံးရဲ့ အစီအစဥ်ကို ပြောင်းလိုက်ပါ။

‘They are’ becomes ‘Are they’.

Now, you'll notice in these two sentences,

Take a look at the board.

ဘုတ်ကိုကြည့်ပါ။

First, you'll notice that all of these questions begin with the ‘Wh’ words -

ပထမဦးစွာ၊ ဤမေးခွန်းများအားလုံးသည် 'Wh' စကားလုံးများ -

‘Where,’ ‘What,’ ‘Who,’ and ‘When’.

'Where' 'What' 'Who' နှင့် 'When' တို့ဖြင့် စတင်သည်ကို သင်သတိပြုမိပါလိမ့်မည်။

Let's take a look at the first question.

‘Where will he be working?’

When we use ‘will be’, we start with ‘Where’ and then ‘will’.

After that, we have the subject + be and then verb +ing.

ထို့နောက်တွင်၊ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့တွင် subject + be နှင့် verb +ing ရှိသည်။

‘Where will he be working?’

'သူဘယ်မှာအလုပ်လုပ်မှာလဲ'

I can answer by saying,

'သူလုပ်မယ်' ဒါမှမဟုတ် 'စက်ရုံမှာ အလုပ်လုပ်မယ်'

‘He will’ or ‘He'll be working at the factory.’

လို့ ဖြေနိုင်ပါတယ် ။

The next question says, ‘What will she be watching?’

နောက်မေးခွန်းတစ်ခုက 'သူဘာတွေကြည့်နေမှာလဲ' တဲ့။

This is very similar to the first question.

ဒါက ပထမမေးခွန်းနဲ့ အရမ်းတူတယ်။

The only difference is that the subject is now ‘she’ and the verb is different.

တစ်ခုတည်းသော ခြားနားချက်မှာ အကြောင်းအရာသည် ယခု 'သူမ' ဖြစ်ပြီး ကြိယာ ကွဲပြားပါသည်။

‘What will she be watching?’

'သူမ ဘာကြည့်နေတာလဲ'

I can say, ‘She'll be watching’ or ‘She will be watching her favorite tv show’.

'သူမကြည့်မယ်' ဒါမှမဟုတ် 'သူမအကြိုက်ဆုံးတီဗီရှိုးကို ကြည့်မယ်' လို့ ပြောနိုင်ပါတယ်။

‘Who will they be talking to?’

'ဘယ်သူနဲ့ စကားပြောမှာလဲ'

Again, very similar.

တဖန်အလွန်တူသည်။ ဖြေဖို့ကတော့

To answer,I can say,

'သူတို့အမေနဲ့ စကားပြောမယ်'

‘They will be talking to their mom.’

လို့ ပြောလို့ရပါတယ် ။

The last question has ‘be going to be’.

နောက်ဆုံးမေးခွန်းက 'ဖြစ်မယ်' တဲ့။

‘When are we …’ here the subject is ’we’.

'ငါတို့ ဘယ်တော့လဲ...' ဟူသော အကြောင်းအရာမှာ 'ငါတို့' ဖြစ်သည်။

So we start with the ‘be verb’ – ‘are’.

ဒါကြောင့် 'be verb' – 'are' နဲ့ စတယ်။

‘When are we going to be meeting Casey?’

'ငါတို့ ဘယ်တော့ Casey နဲ့ တွေ့မှာလဲ'

I can say,

'ငါတို့ ဒီည Casey နဲ့ တွေ့မယ်' လို့

‘We are going to be meeting Casey later tonight.’

ပြောနိုင်ပါတယ် ။

It says, ‘They _blank_ at school tomorrow.’

'မနက်ဖြန် ကျောင်းမှာ သူတို့ _blank_ ' လို့ ပြောတယ်။

I want you to use ‘will' and then the verb ‘study’, for this tense.

ဒီ tense အတွက် 'will' နဲ့ 'study' ဆိုတဲ့ verb ကို သုံးစေချင်ပါတယ်။

Remember, in the future continuous tense,

အနာဂတ်စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ်တင်းမာမှုတွင်

no matter what the subject, we say ‘will be’ and then verb +ing.

မည်သည့်အကြောင်းအရာကိုမဆို 'ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်' ပြီးနောက် ကြိယာ +ing ဟုပြောသည်ကို သတိရပါ။

So the correct answer for this sentence is ‘they will be studying’

ဒါကြောင့် ဒီဝါကျအတွက် အဖြေမှန်က 'သူတို့ စာကျက်မယ်'

‘They will be studying at school tomorrow.’

'မနက်ဖြန် ကျောင်းမှာ စာကျက်မယ်' တဲ့။

The next sentence says.

နောက်စာကြောင်းက ဆိုတယ်။

‘Jesse _blank_ a TV show later.’

'Jesse _blank_ နောက်မှ တီဗီရှိုးတစ်ခု လုပ်မယ်။'

Here, instead of ‘will’ try to use ‘be going to be’.

ဒီနေရာမှာ 'will' အစား 'be going to be' ကို သုံးကြည့်ပါ။

‘Jesse _blank_ watch a TV show later.’

'Jesse _blank_ တီဗီရှိုးကို နောက်မှကြည့်မယ်။'

I want you to use the verb ‘watch’.

ကြိယာ 'watch' ကို သုံးစေချင်တယ်။

So, Jessie is a ‘he’ or it can be a ‘she’.

ဒါကြောင့် Jessie ဟာ 'သူ' ဒါမှမဟုတ် 'သူမ' ဖြစ်နိုင်ပါတယ်။

Sometimes the name is used for a boy or a girl.

Either way I need to use the ‘be’ verb – ‘is’.

What's the contraction for ‘will not’?

Well it definitely isn't ‘willn’t’.

သေချာတာကတော့ 'နေမှာ' မဟုတ်ဘူး။

The contraction is ‘won't’.

ကျုံ့ခြင်းသည် 'မဖြစ်' ပါ။

‘We won't be studying at the library today.’

'ဒီနေ့ စာကြည့်တိုက်မှာ စာမသင်ရဘူး'

And finally, ‘Sally and I will be meet our friends soon.’

နောက်ဆုံးတော့ 'ဆယ်လီနဲ့ ငါ မကြာခင် ငါတို့သူငယ်ချင်းတွေနဲ့ တွေ့တော့မယ်။'

Remember, we need ‘will be’ and then verb +ing.

'will' နဲ့ verb +ing လိုတယ်ဆိုတာ သတိရပါ။

So the correct answer is,

‘We are …’, here's the ‘be’ verb, ‘not’

'ငါတို့…' ၊ ဒီမှာ 'be' ကြိယာ 'not'

so this is negative.

ဆိုတော့ ဒါက အနုတ်လက္ခဏာပါ။

And then we say ‘going to be’

ပြီးတော့ ငါတို့က 'going to be'

and then verb +ing.

နဲ့ verb +ing လို့ပြောတာ။

‘We are not going to be seeing the play when he performs.’

'သူဖျော်ဖြေချိန်မှာ ငါတို့မြင်ရတော့မှာမဟုတ်ဘူး။'

Now find the mistake in this sentence.

‘They won't be stay at home when the delivery man visits.’

‘They won't be’

'သူတို့မဖြစ်ဘူး'

That's correct in the negative form.

အဲဒါက အဆိုးမြင်ပုံစံနဲ့ မှန်တယ်။

However, we need verb +ing.

ဒါပေမယ့် ကြိယာ +ing လိုပါတယ်။

‘They won't be staying at home when the delivery man visits.’

'ပို့ဆောင်ပေးသူ လာလည်တဲ့အခါ အိမ်မှာ နေကြမှာ မဟုတ်ဘူး။'

And finally, ‘Terry is going to working when the manager arrives’.

‘Terry’ is a ‘he’ or ‘she’ so ‘is’ is the correct ‘be’ verb to use.

'Terry' သည် 'he' သို့မဟုတ် 'she' ဖြစ်သောကြောင့် 'is' သည် မှန်ကန်သော 'be' ကြိယာဖြစ်သည်။

‘going to’ that's also correct.

'သွားမယ်' ဒါလည်းမှန်တယ်။

What we're missing here is ‘be’.

This tense is used to express an action in the future

The future perfect tense is used to express an action in the future

အနာဂတ် ပြီးပြည့်စုံသော တင်းမာမှုကို

that will happen by a specific time in the future.

အနာဂတ်တွင် တိကျသောအချိန်တစ်ခုဖြင့် ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာမည့် အနာဂတ်တွင် လုပ်ဆောင်ချက်တစ်ခုကို ဖော်ပြရန်အတွက် အသုံးပြုသည်။

Let's look at some examples.

ဥပမာအချို့ကို ကြည့်ကြပါစို့။

The first sentence says,

ပထမစာကြောင်းက

‘The snow will have stopped by April.’

'ဧပြီလတွင် နှင်းများ ရပ်တန့်သွားလိမ့်မည်' ဟုဆိုသည်။

We start with the subject.

ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ဘာသာရပ်ဖြင့် စတင်သည်။

In this case, ‘The snow’.

ဒီနေရာမှာ 'နှင်း'။

Then, we follow with ‘will have’ and the past participle of the verb.

ထို့နောက် ' will have' နှင့် ကြိယာ၏အတိတ် participle ဖြင့် လိုက်လုပ်ပါ။

In this case, we used ‘stopped’ for the verb ‘stop’.

ဤကိစ္စတွင်၊ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် 'stop' ကြိယာအတွက် 'stop' ကိုသုံးသည်။

At the end of the sentence, you'll notice ‘by April’.

‘by April’ shows the specific time in the future when this action will have happened.

The next sentence says,

In this sentence,

ဤဝါကျတွင်

‘By the time he graduates’ or the specific time in the future.

'သူဘွဲ့ရသည့်အချိန်' သို့မဟုတ် အနာဂတ်အတွက် သီးခြားအချိန်ဖြစ်သည်။

comes at the beginning of the sentence

ဝါကျရဲ့အစမှာ လာတာ

so ‘by’ plus ‘a time in the future’

မို့ 'by' အပေါင်း 'a time in the future' က

can come at the end or it can come at the beginning.

အဆုံးမှာ လာနိုင်တယ် ဒါမှမဟုတ် အစမှာ လာနိုင်တယ်။

‘By the time he graduates, he will have completed…’

'သူဘွဲ့ရပြီးရင် ပြီးသွားမှာ...'

Again, you see ‘subject + will + have’ and the past participle of the verb.

တဖန် 'subject + will + have' နှင့် ကြိယာ၏ past particip ကို သင်တွေ့မြင်ရပြန်သည်။

In this case, ‘completed’.

ဒါဆိုရင် 'ပြီးပါပြီ'။

‘By the time he graduates, he will have completed five years of study.’

'သူဘွဲ့ရပြီး ငါးနှစ်ကြာအောင် စာသင်ရလိမ့်မယ်။'

The next sentence says,

နောက်စာကြောင်းက

‘Her arm will have fully healed by the summer.’

'သူမ၏လက်သည် နွေရာသီတွင် အပြည့်အဝ အနာပျောက်စေလိမ့်မည်' ဟုဆိုသည်။

In this example, ‘by the summer’, the future specific time, comes at the end.

ဤဥပမာတွင်၊ 'နွေရာသီရောက်ပြီ'၊ အနာဂတ်တိကျသောအချိန်သည် အဆုံးတွင် ရောက်လာသည်။

By this time in the future, her ‘arm’, that's the subject, will have ‘healed’,

Now for the negative form, what I do is say, ‘subject’ and ‘will not have’,

There it is again, ‘will not have’ and then the past participle of speak ...

which is ‘spoken’.

'ပြောပြီ' ဆိုတဲ့ စကားရဲ့အတိတ်ပါ၀င်မှုလည်း ရှိတယ်။

Here, instead of the word ‘by’, we used ‘before’ to show a specific time in the

'မင်း ညစာ 6 နာရီမှာ မစားရဘူး' လို့ပြောတယ်

Here, again, we've used ‘by 6 p.m.’ to show a time in the future.

၊ နောက်တော့ အချိန်တစ်ခုပြဖို့ 'ညနေ 6 နာရီ' မှာ ထပ်ပြီးသုံးထားတယ်။

And again, you see ‘you will not have’ and then the past participle of eat which

တစ်ဖန် 'မစားရ' ဟူသော ဆွမ်း၌

is ‘eaten’.

'စား' သော အတိတ်ကို မြင်၏။

The last sentence says, ‘By noon …’, there's the time again,

နောက်ဆုံးစာကြောင်းက 'မွန်းတည့်မှ...'၊

‘I will not have taken off to Japan.’

'ငါ ဂျပန်ကို မသွားတော့ဘူး' လို့ ပြော

‘taken’ is the past participle of ‘take’.

ပြန်တယ် ။ 'ယူ' သည် 'ယူ' ၏အတိတ်အပိုင်းဖြစ်သည်။

Let's move on.

Now, let's move on to how to form questions in the future perfect tense.

ကဲ၊ အနာဂတ် ပြီးပြည့်စုံတဲ့ တင်းမာမှုမှာ မေးခွန်းတွေ ဘယ်လိုဖွဲ့စည်းရမလဲဆိုတာ ဆက်ကြည့်ရအောင်။

The first sentence here says,

ဤနေရာတွင် ပထမစာကြောင်းက

‘You will have gone to work by 10 a.m.’

'မင်း မနက် 10 နာရီမှာ အလုပ်သွားလိမ့်မယ်' လို့ ပြောထားပြီး

To turn this into a question, all we have to

ဒါကို မေးခွန်းတစ်ခုအဖြစ် ပြောင်းလဲဖို့အတွက်

do is switch the order of the first two words.

ပထမစကားလုံးနှစ်လုံးရဲ့ အစီအစဥ်ကို ပြောင်းလိုက်ပါ။

‘You will’ becomes ‘Will you’.

'သင်' 'သင်' ဖြစ်လာသည်။

You'll notice that the rest of the question stays the same as the sentence.

ကျန်မေးခွန်းများသည် ဝါကျနှင့်တူနေမည်ကို သတိပြုမိပါလိမ့်မည်။

‘Will you have gone to work by 10 a.m.?’

'မင်း မနက် 10 နာရီမှာ အလုပ်သွားရမှာလား'

You can answer by saying, ‘Yes, I will have.’

'ဟုတ်တယ်၊ ငါရလိမ့်မယ်' ဟုဆိုခြင်းဖြင့် သင်သည် ပြန်ပြောနိုင်သည်။

or ‘No, I will have not.’

ဒါမှမဟုတ် 'မဟုတ်ဘူး၊ ငါမရှိတော့ဘူး'

The next sentence says, ‘She will have woken up by noon.’

နောက်စာကြောင်းက 'နေ့လည်မှာ နိုးလာလိမ့်မယ်' တဲ့။

Again, to turn this into a question just switch the first two words.

တစ်ဖန်၊ ဤအရာကို မေးခွန်းတစ်ခုအဖြစ် ပြောင်းလဲရန် ပထမစကားလုံးနှစ်လုံးကို ပြောင်းရုံသာဖြစ်သည်။

‘She will’ becomes ‘Will she’.

'သူမ' 'Will She' ဖြစ်လာသည်။

‘Will she have woken up by noon?’

'နေ့လည်က နိုးလာမှာလား'

Again, the rest of the sentence stays the same.

နောက်တဖန် ကျန်ဝါကျများသည် အတူတူပင်ဖြစ်သည်။

‘Will she have woken up by noon?’

'နေ့လည်က နိုးလာမှာလား'

To reply, you can say, ‘Yes, she will have.’

or ‘No, she will have not.’

Now, I'll talk about how to form ‘WH’ questions in the future perfect tense.

အခုတော့ အနာဂတ်ပြီးပြည့်စုံတဲ့ တင်းမာမှုမှာ 'WH' မေးခွန်းတွေကို ဘယ်လိုပုံစံနဲ့ ဖွဲ့ရမလဲဆိုတာကို ပြောပြပါမယ်။

If you notice on the board, each of these questions begins with the ‘WH’ word.

သင်ပုန်းပေါ်တွင် သတိပြုမိပါက ဤမေးခွန်းတစ်ခုစီသည် 'WH' စကားလုံးဖြင့် စတင်သည်။

‘Where’, ‘what’, ‘who’, and ‘when’.

'ဘယ်'၊ 'ဘာ'၊ 'ဘယ်'၊ 'ဘယ်အချိန်'။

Then after each ‘WH’ word comes the word ‘will’.

In this case, ‘you’.

ဒီနေရာမှာ 'သင်'။

And then, ‘have’ and after that the past participle of the verb.

ထို့နောက် ' have ' နှင့် ပြီးနောက် ကြိယာ၏ past participle ၊

In this case, it's ‘traveled’.

ဤကိစ္စတွင်၊ ၎င်းသည် 'ခရီး' ဖြစ်သည်။

‘Where will you have traveled by December?’

'ဒီဇင်ဘာလမှာ ဘယ်ကို ခရီးထွက်မှာလဲ'

I can answer by saying, ‘I will have traveled to Germany and Denmark.’

'ကျွန်တော် ဂျာမနီနဲ့ ဒိန်းမတ်ကို ခရီးထွက်မယ်' လို့ ဖြေနိုင်ပါတယ်။

There are many possible answers here and this is just an example.

The next question says, ‘What will they have done …’

‘done’ is the past participle of ‘do’.

'ပြီးပြီ' ဆိုတာက 'လုပ်တယ်' ရဲ့အတိတ်အပိုင်းပါ။

‘… by the end of the evening?’

'ညနေကုန်ပြီလား?'

I can answer by saying, ‘They will have done their homework.’

'သူတို့ အိမ်စာတွေ ပြီးပြီ' လို့ ဖြေနိုင်သည် ။

The next question says, ‘Who will she have interviewed by 5 p.m.?’

နောက်မေးခွန်းက 'ညနေ ၅ နာရီမှာ ဘယ်သူက အင်တာဗျူးမှာလဲ' တဲ့။

Again, ‘who will’ + the subject ‘have’ and the past participle of the verb.

တဖန် 'မည်သူ' + ဘာသာရပ် ' have' နှင့် ကြိယာ၏အတိတ်ပါဝင်မှု။

I can answer this question by saying,

ဒီမေးခွန်းကို

‘She will have interviewed the teachers by 5 p.m.’

'ဆရာမတွေကို ညနေ 5 နာရီမှာ အင်တာဗျူးလုပ်မယ်' လို့ ပြောပြီး

And finally, ‘When will they have started to learn?’

နောက်ဆုံးအနေနဲ့ 'သူတို့ ဘယ်အချိန်စပြီး သင်ယူမှာလဲ' လို့

One way to answer this question is to say,

ဖြေနိုင်ပါတယ်။ ဤမေးခွန်းကိုဖြေဆိုရန်နည်းလမ်းတစ်ခု

‘They will have started to learn in January.’

Let's start this checkup for the future perfect tense.

Take a look at the first sentence.

ပထမစာကြောင်းကို လေ့လာကြည့်ပါ။

It says, ‘We _blank_ that book by tomorrow.’

အဲဒါက 'ငါတို့ _ အဲဒီစာအုပ်ကို မနက်ဖြန်မှာ လွတ်မယ်' လို့ ပြောပါတယ်။

The verb to use is ‘read’.

သုံးရမည့် ကြိယာမှာ 'ဖတ်' သည်။

Remember, in the future perfect tense, we start with the subject,

အနာဂတ် ပြီးပြည့်စုံသော တင်းမာမှုတွင် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် အကြောင်းအရာနှင့် စတင်ကာ

and we have that here, ‘we’.

ဤနေရာတွင် 'ငါတို့' ရှိသည်ကို သတိရပါ။

Then say, ‘will have’ and the past participle of the verb.

ထို့နောက် 'ရှိမည်' နှင့် ကြိယာ၏အတိတ်ပါဝင်မှုကို ပြောပါ။

So here we need to say ‘will have’.

What is the past participle of ‘read’?

The correct answer is ‘read’.

They're spelled the same, but they are pronounced differently.

စာလုံးပေါင်းတူသော်လည်း အသံထွက် မတူပါ။

‘We will have read that book by tomorrow.’

'ငါတို့ ဒီစာအုပ်ကို မနက်ဖြန်မှ ဖတ်ရလိမ့်မယ်။'

The next sentence says, ‘She _blank_ the video by bedtime.’

နောက်စာကြောင်းက 'She _blank_ အိပ်ရာဝင်ချိန်က ဗီဒီယိုပါ' ဟုဆိုသည်။

Here we have ‘not’ so I want you to try the negative form.

ဒီမှာ ငါတို့မှာ 'မဟုတ်ဘူး' ဆိုတော့ မင်းကို အဆိုးမြင်ပုံစံကို စမ်းကြည့်စေချင်တယ်။

And the verb to try is ‘watch’.

ကြိုးစားရန် ကြိယာမှာ 'စောင့်ကြည့်' ဖြစ်သည်။

In the negative form, we start with the subject.

အဆိုးမြင်ပုံစံတွင်၊ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ဘာသာရပ်ဖြင့် စတင်သည်။

And instead of ‘will have’, we say ‘will not have’.

'ရှိမည်' အစား 'မရှိ' ဟုဆိုသည်။

‘She will not have …’ Then we need the past participle of the verb.

'သူမမှာ…' ထို့နောက်ကြိယာ၏အတိတ်ပါဝင်မှုလိုအပ်သည်။

In this case, it is ‘watched’.

ဤကိစ္စတွင် 'စောင့်ကြည့်' သည်။

‘She will not have watched the video by bedtime.’

'အိပ်ရာဝင်ချိန်က ဗီဒီယိုကို သူမ မကြည့်ဖြစ်ဘူး။'

Now find the mistake in the next sentence.

အခု နောက်ဝါကျမှာ အမှားကို ရှာပါ။

‘Ryan will not have be to Cuba by summer.’

'ရိုင်ယန်က နွေရာသီမှာ ကျူးဘားကို ရောက်မှာ မဟုတ်ဘူး။'

This is the negative form because we have ‘will not have’.

ဤသည်မှာ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့တွင် 'ရှိမည်မဟုတ်' ဖြစ်သောကြောင့် အပျက်သဘောဆောင်သည်။

That's correct.

အဲဒါမှန်တယ်။

But we need the past participle of ‘be’.

ဒါပေမယ့် 'be' ရဲ့အတိတ်ပါဝင်မှုလိုတယ်။

So we need to change it to ‘been’.

ဒါကြောင့် အဲဒါကို 'ဖြစ်' လို့ ပြောင်းရမယ်။

‘Ryan will not have been to Cuba by summer.’

'ရိုင်ယန်က နွေရာသီမှာ ကျူးဘားကို မရောက်ဖြစ်ဘူး။'

The last sentence says, ‘I will have go to school by 8 30 a.m.’

နောက်ဆုံးစာကြောင်းက 'မနက် ၈း၃၀ မှာ ကျောင်းတက်မယ်' လို့

Here, we have the affirmative, ‘will have’.

အခိုင်အမာ ဆိုထားပါတယ်၊

But, uh oh, we forgot the past participle of ‘go’ which is ‘gone’.

ဒါပေမယ့် 'သွားပြီ' ဖြစ်တဲ့ 'သွား' ရဲ့အတိတ်အပိုင်းကို မေ့သွားတယ်။

‘I will have gone to school by 8 30 a.m.’

'မနက် 8 30 မှာ ကျောင်းတက်မယ်'

This tense can be used to describe an ongoing action

ဤတင်းမာမှု ကို အနာဂတ်တွင် သတ်မှတ်ထားသော အချိန်အတိုင်းအတာတစ်ခုအထိ ဆက်လက်တည်တံ့မည့်

or situation that will last for a specified period of time in the future.

The future perfect continuous tense is used to talk about an ongoing situation

အနာဂတ် ပြီးပြည့်စုံသော စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် တင်းမာမှုအား

that will be in progress for a period of time at a specific point in time in the future.

အနာဂတ်တွင် အချိန်အတိုင်းအတာတစ်ခုအထိ အချိန်အတိုင်းအတာတစ်ခုအထိ လုပ်ဆောင်သွားမည့် လက်ရှိအခြေအနေတစ်ခုအကြောင်း ပြောဆိုရန်အတွက် အသုံးပြုသည်။

Let's take a look at some examples.

ဥပမာအချို့ကို လေ့လာကြည့်ရအောင်။

The first sentence says,

ပထမဝါကျတွင်

‘She will have been living in Ireland for 10 years at that point.’

'သူမသည် အိုင်ယာလန်တွင် ၁၀ နှစ်ကြာ နေထိုင်နေလိမ့်မည်' ဟုဆိုသည်။

So no matter what the subject, in this case we have ‘she’,

ဒါကြောင့် ဘယ်လိုအကြောင်းအရာပဲဖြစ်ဖြစ်၊ ဒီနေရာမှာ 'she' ရှိတယ်၊

we follow with ‘will have been’ and then ‘verb +ing’.

'will have' နဲ့ လိုက်ပြီးတော့ 'ကြိယာ +ing' နဲ့ လိုက်နေပါတယ်။

So, ‘She will have been living in Ireland …’

ထို့ကြောင့် 'သူမသည် အိုင်ယာလန်တွင် နေထိုင်လိမ့်မည်...'

Then this sentence has the duration.

ထို့နောက် ဤစာကြောင်းတွင် ကြာချိန်ရှိသည်။

What period of time will this last? ‘for 10 years’

ဤအချိန်ကာလသည် အဘယ်အချိန်ကာလဖြစ်မည်နည်း။ '10 နှစ်'

And when?

နဲ့ ဘယ်အချိန်လဲ။

Remember, we need a point in time in the future.

အနာဂတ်တွင် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် အချိန်မီ အမှတ်ရရန် လိုအပ်ကြောင်း သတိရပါ။

In this case, we just use a general expression, ‘at that point’.

ဤကိစ္စတွင်၊ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ယေဘူယျအသုံးအနှုန်းဖြစ်သော 'ထိုအချက်' ကိုသာ အသုံးပြုသည်။

Here, it's not specific and that's okay.

We'll see some specific examples in the next sentence.

Here, the specific time in the future comes at the beginning of the sentence.

ဤတွင်၊ အနာဂတ်တွင် သတ်မှတ်ထားသောအချိန်သည် ဝါကျ၏အစတွင် ရောက်လာသည်။

‘By midnight’ And, again, we see ‘will have been’ +

'By midnight' နှင့် ' will have been' + verb 'ing' တို့ကိုလည်း

verb 'ing'.

တွေ့ရပြန်သည်

‘By midnight, he will have been sleeping for four hours.’.

။ 'သန်းခေါင်ကျော်ရင် လေးနာရီလောက် အိပ်ရလိမ့်မယ်။'

Here we have ‘for four hours’.

This shows the duration or how long this action will be in progress.

So, again, ‘By midnight he will have been sleeping for four hours.’

ဒါကြောင့် တစ်ဖန် 'သန်းခေါင်ယံမှာ လေးနာရီကြာအောင် အိပ်ရလိမ့်မယ်' တဲ့။

The last sentence says, ‘In June …’

နောက်ဆုံးစာကြောင်းက 'ဇွန်လမှာ…' လို့ပြောတယ်

Here, again, we have the specific time in the future at the beginning of the sentence.

၊ ဒီမှာတော့ ဝါကျရဲ့အစမှာ အနာဂတ်အတွက် တိကျတဲ့ အချိန်ရှိတယ်။

‘In June, ‘we’ that's the subject.

'ဇွန်' မှာ 'ငါ' က အဲဒီအကြောင်းအရာပဲ။

‘we'll have been studying …’ There's the ‘verb +ing’.

'ငါတို့လေ့လာမယ်...' 'ကြိယာ +ing' ရှိတယ်။

‘… at this university for four years.’

'... ဒီတက္ကသိုလ်မှာ လေးနှစ်ရှိပြီ'

Here is the duration, ‘for four years’.

ဤတွင် 'လေးနှစ်' ဟူသော ကြာချိန်ဖြစ်သည်။

ယခု ပြီးပြည့်စုံသော စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် တင်းမာမှုတွင် အနာဂတ်မေးခွန်းများကို မည်သို့ဖွဲ့စည်းရမည်ကို လေ့လာကြည့်ကြပါစို့။

Here, the sentence says,

ဤတွင်၊

‘Sean will have been playing soccer for a year by December.’

'Sean သည် ဒီဇင်ဘာလတွင် ဘောလုံးကစားမည်' ဟု ဆိုထားသည်။

To turn this into a question, all we have to do is switch the order of the first two

၎င်းကို မေးခွန်းတစ်ခုအဖြစ် ပြောင်းလဲရန် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့လုပ်ဆောင်ရမည့်အရာမှာ ပထမ

words.

စကားလုံးနှစ်လုံး၏ အစီအစဥ်ကို ပြောင်းရန်ဖြစ်သည်။

So instead of ‘Sean will’, I can say ‘Will Sean’.

ဒါကြောင့် 'Sean will' အစား 'Will Sean' လို့ ပြောလို့ရပါတယ်။

‘Will Sean have been playing soccer for a year by December?’

'Sean ဟာ ဒီဇင်ဘာလမှာ တစ်နှစ်လောက် ဘောလုံးကစားမှာလား။'

You'll notice that the rest of the sentence stays the same.

ကျန်တဲ့ဝါကျတွေက အတူတူပဲဆိုတာ သတိထားမိမှာပါ။

I can answer by saying, ‘Yes, he will have.’

'ဟုတ်တယ်၊ သူရလိမ့်မယ်' လို့ ဖြေနိုင်တယ်။

or ‘No, he will have not.’

သို့မဟုတ် 'မဟုတ်ဘူး၊ သူရှိမှာမဟုတ်ဘူး။'

The next sentence says,

နောက်စာကြောင်းက

‘They will have been working there for three months by that time.’

'အဲဒီမှာ သုံးလကြာအောင် အလုပ်လုပ်ရလိမ့်မယ်' တဲ့။

Again, I changed the order of the first two words.

တစ်ဖန်၊ ပထမစကားလုံးနှစ်လုံး၏ အစီအစဥ်ကို ပြောင်းလဲခဲ့သည်။

To turn this into a question ‘They will’ becomes ‘Will they’.

ဒါကို 'They will' ဆိုတဲ့ မေးခွန်းအဖြစ် ပြောင်းလဲဖို့ 'Will they' ဖြစ်သွားပါတယ်။

‘Will they have been working there for three months by that time?’

'အဲဒီမှာ သုံးလလောက် အလုပ်သွားလုပ်မှာလား။'

Again, the rest of the sentence stays the same.

နောက်တဖန် ကျန်ဝါကျများသည် အတူတူပင်ဖြစ်သည်။

I can answer by saying, ‘Yes, they will have.’

'ဟုတ်တယ်၊ သူတို့ရလိမ့်မယ်' လို့ ဖြေနိုင်တယ်။

or ‘No, they will have not.’

သို့မဟုတ် 'မဟုတ်ဘူး၊ သူတို့မှာ ရှိမှာမဟုတ်ဘူး။'

Let's move on.

ဆက်ကြရအောင်။

Now let's take a look at how to form ‘WH” questions in the future perfect continuous

ယခု အနာဂတ်တွင် ပြီးပြည့်စုံသော စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် တင်းမာမှု တွင် 'WH' မေးခွန်းများ မည်သို့ဖွဲ့စည်းရမည်ကို လေ့လာကြည့်ကြပါစို့

Take a look at the board.

ဘုတ်ကိုကြည့်ပါ။

All of these questions begin with a ‘WH’ word.

ဤမေးခွန်းများအားလုံးသည် 'WH' စကားလုံးဖြင့် စတင်သည်။

‘where’ ‘what’

'ဘယ်မှာလဲ' 'ဘာ'

‘who’ and ‘how long’

'ဘယ်သူ' နဲ့ 'ဘယ်လောက်ကြာမလဲ' ဆိုတဲ့

Take a look at the first question.

ပထမမေးခွန်းကို ကြည့်ပါ။

‘Where will you have been walking?’

'မင်းဘယ်ကိုလျှောက်နေတာလဲ'

To form a ‘WH’ question, we start with the ‘WH’ word, then ‘will’.

'WH' မေးခွန်းကို ဖွဲ့ရန်၊ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် 'WH' စကားလုံးဖြင့် စတင်ပြီးနောက် 'လိမ့်မည်'။

After that, we add the subject, ‘you’, ‘they’, ‘she’ and ‘you’.

ထို့နောက် 'သင်'၊ 'သူတို့'၊ 'သူမ' နှင့် 'သင်' တို့ကို ပေါင်းထည့်သည်။

After that, we add ‘have been’ + ‘verb +ing’.

ပြီးရင် 'have' + 'verb +ing' ကို ထည့်ပါမယ်။

‘Where will you have been walking?’

'မင်းဘယ်ကိုလျှောက်နေတာလဲ'

‘What will they have been playing?’

'သူတို့ ဘာကစားကြမှာလဲ'

‘Who will she have been talking to?’

'ဘယ်သူနဲ့ ပြောနေတာလဲ'

and ‘How long will you have been working …?’

'မင်း အလုပ်လုပ်တာ ဘယ်လောက်ကြာပြီလဲ...'

There's the ‘verb +ing’.

'ကြိယာ +ing' ရှိတယ်။

‘ … there by the time you finish?’

'... မင်း ပြီးတဲ့ အချိန်မှာ ဟိုမှာ ?'

So let's go through one more time and I'll show you how to answer these questions.

ဒီတော့ နောက်တစ်ကြိမ် ဆက်ကြည့်ရအောင်၊ ဒီမေးခွန်းတွေကို ဘယ်လိုဖြေရမလဲဆိုတာ ပြမယ်။

‘Where will you have been walking?’

'မင်းဘယ်ကိုလျှောက်နေတာလဲ'

I can answer by saying, ‘I will have been walking in the park.’

'ငါ ပန်းခြံထဲမှာ လမ်းလျှောက်မယ်' လို့ ဖြေနိုင်တယ်။

‘What will they have been playing?’

'သူတို့ ဘာကစားကြမှာလဲ'

‘They will have been playing video games.’

'သူတို့က ဗီဒီယိုဂိမ်းတွေ ကစားဖူးကြလိမ့်မယ်။'

‘Who will she have been talking to?’

'ဘယ်သူနဲ့ ပြောနေတာလဲ'

‘She will have been talking to her cousin.’

'သူမက သူ့ဝမ်းကွဲနဲ့ စကားပြောနေလိမ့်မယ်။'

And finally,

နောက်ဆုံးအနေနဲ့

‘How long will you have been working there by the time you finish?’

'မင်း ပြီးသွားတဲ့အခါ မင်းအဲဒီမှာ ဘယ်လောက်ကြာကြာ အလုပ်လုပ်မှာလဲ။'

‘By the time I finish, I will have been working there for five years.’

'ငါ ပြီးသွားတဲ့အခါ ငါအဲဒီမှာ အလုပ်လုပ်နေတာ ငါးနှစ်ရှိပြီ' တဲ့။

Let's move on.

ဆက်ကြရအောင်။

Let's start a checkup for the future perfect continuous tense.

အနာဂတ် ပြီးပြည့်စုံသော စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် တင်းမာမှုအတွက် စစ်ဆေးမှုကို စတင်ကြပါစို့။

Take a look at the board.

ဘုတ်ကိုကြည့်ပါ။

The first sentence says,

ပထမစာကြောင်းက

‘By 10 p.m., I _blank_ that game for three hours.’

'ည ၁၀ နာရီမှာ ငါ _blank_ အဲဒီဂိမ်းကို သုံးနာရီလောက်ကြာတယ်' တဲ့။

I’m looking to use the verb ‘play’.

'play' ဆိုတဲ့ ကြိယာကိုသုံးဖို့ ကြိုးစားနေပါတယ်။

Remember, in this tense, we need to have ‘subject’ + ‘will have been’ and then ‘verb +ing’.

ဒီ tense မှာ 'subject' + 'will have' နဲ့ 'verb +ing' ရှိဖို့လိုတယ်ဆိုတာ သတိရပါ။

So ‘By 10 p.m., I will have been playing …’

ဒီတော့ 'ည ၁၀ နာရီမှာ ငါကစားမယ်…'

Again, we need ‘verb +ing’.

နောက်တစ်ခါ 'ကြိယာ +ing' လိုတယ်။

‘… I will have been playing that game for three hours.

'... ငါ ဒီဂိမ်းကို သုံးနာရီကြာအောင် ကစားမယ်။

The next sentence says,

နောက်စာကြောင်းက

‘When she gets here, he _blank_ dinner for an hour.’

'သူဒီကိုရောက်ရင် တစ်နာရီလောက် ညစာစားတယ်။'

Try to use the verb ‘cook’.

ကြိယာ 'ချက်ပြုတ်' ကိုသုံးကြည့်ပါ။

Again, no matter what the subject, it doesn't change.

နောက်တစ်ခုက ဘာအကြောင်းအရာပဲဖြစ်ဖြစ် မပြောင်းလဲပါဘူး။

‘When she gets here, he will have been cooking …’

'သူဒီကိုရောက်ရင် ဟင်းချက်ရလိမ့်မယ်...'

‘When she gets here, he will have been cooking dinner for an hour.’

'ဒီကိုရောက်ရင် တစ်နာရီလောက် ညစာ ချက်ရလိမ့်မယ်'

Now, find the mistake in the next sentence.

ကဲ နောက်စာကြောင်းမှာ အမှားကိုရှာပါ။

‘Steve and Jan will not have be waiting for a year when it arrives.’

'စတိဗ်နဲ့ ဂျန်တို့ ရောက်လာတဲ့အခါ တစ်နှစ်လောက် စောင့်ရမှာ မဟုတ်ဘူး။'

Here, we have a negative form, ‘they will not have’.

ဤတွင်၊ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့တွင် အပျက်သဘောဆောင်သည့်ပုံစံ၊ 'သူတို့ရှိသည်' မဟုတ်ပါ။

Then we need ‘been’.

ပြီးရင် 'ဖြစ်' ရမယ်။

‘They will not have been …’

'သူတို့ မဖြစ်ဖူးဘူး…'

And then the ‘verb +ing’ is here so that's correct.

ပြီးတော့ 'ကြိယာ +ing' က ဒီမှာဆိုတော့ မှန်ပါတယ်။

‘Steve and Jan will not have been waiting for a year when it arrives.’

'စတိဗ်နဲ့ ဂျန်တို့ ရောက်လာတဲ့အခါ တစ်နှစ်လောက် စောင့်ရမှာ မဟုတ်ဘူး။'

The last sentence says,

နောက်ဆုံးစာကြောင်းက

‘It will have been work for 10 years on January 15th.’

'ဇန်န၀ါရီလ ၁၅ ရက်မှာ အလုပ်ဖြစ်မှာ ၁၀ နှစ်ရှိပြီ' တဲ့။

So maybe here I’m talking about a computer or a TV.

ဒါကြောင့် ဒီမှာ ကွန်ပျူတာ ဒါမှမဟုတ် တီဗီအကြောင်း ပြောနေတာ ဖြစ်နိုင်တယ်။

Maybe some kind of machine.

စက်တစ်မျိုးဖြစ်နိုင်တယ်။

‘it’ ‘It will have been …’

'အဲဒါ' 'ဖြစ်လိမ့်မယ်...'

I see the mistake here.

အမှားကို ဒီမှာတွေ့တယ်။

We need ‘verb +ing’.

'ကြိယာ +ing' လိုတယ်။

‘It will have been working for 10 years on January 15th.

‘‘ဇန်နဝါရီ ၁၅ ရက်မှာ လုပ်လာတာ ၁၀ နှစ်ရှိပြီ။
