In this grammar course, I’ll  be teaching the future tense.

I’ll talk about the future simple,  future continuous, future perfect,  

ਮੈਂ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਸਧਾਰਨ, ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ, ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ,

and future perfect continuous tenses. There’s a lot of important information.

In this video, I will introduce the future simple tense

ਇਸ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਵਿੱਚ, ਮੈਂ 'will' ਅਤੇ 'be going to' ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਕੇ

using 'will' and 'be going to'.

ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਸਧਾਰਨ ਕਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ।

This is a very important tense that will help you express future actions and plans.

There's a lot to learn, so let's get started.

The future simple tense can be used to express a future action.

ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਸਧਾਰਨ ਕਾਲ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।

Let's take a look at some examples.

ਆਓ ਕੁਝ ਉਦਾਹਰਣਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਮਾਰੀਏ।

‘I'm cold.’

'ਮੈ ਠੰਡਾ ਹਾਂ.'

Well that's right now.

ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਹੈ.

‘I will close the window.’

We start with the subject ‘will’.

In this example, I'm making a sudden decision because how I feel right now.

I will close the window because I'm cold right now.

‘I will be at the library tomorrow.’

'ਮੈਂ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ।'

Again, you start with the subject and then ‘will’.

ਦੁਬਾਰਾ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ 'ਕਰਾਂਗੇ'।

After that, you have the base verb.

ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਅਧਾਰ ਕਿਰਿਆ ਹੈ।

You can use the ‘be’ verb to talk about a confirmed plan.

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ 'be' ਕਿਰਿਆ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ।

‘I will be at the library tomorrow.’

'ਮੈਂ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ।'

The economy will get better next year.

ਅਗਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਅਰਥਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

In this case, the subject is ‘the economy’.

ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ, ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ 'ਆਰਥਿਕਤਾ'।

Again, we follow with ‘will’ and the base verb ‘get’.

ਦੁਬਾਰਾ, ਅਸੀਂ 'will' ਅਤੇ ਅਧਾਰ ਕਿਰਿਆ 'get' ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

‘The economy will get better next year.’

'ਅਗਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਅਰਥਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।'

I'm making a prediction here about something that will happen in the future.

ਮੈਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਚੀਜ਼ ਬਾਰੇ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।

And finally, ‘I will help you with your homework.’

ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ, 'ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹੋਮਵਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।'

I'm making a future plan to help you.

ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਣਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।

‘I will help you with your homework.’

'ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹੋਮਵਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।'

It doesn't say when but I am talking about the future.

ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਕਿ ਕਦੋਂ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।

Let's move on.

ਚਲੋ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

You can also use ‘be going to’ to express a future action.

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਭਵਿੱਖੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਣ ਲਈ 'be going to' ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ।

It's almost the same as ‘will’.

ਇਹ ਲਗਭਗ 'ਇੱਛਾ' ਵਾਂਗ ਹੀ ਹੈ।

Here are some examples.

ਇੱਥੇ ਕੁਝ ਉਦਾਹਰਣਾਂ ਹਨ।

‘There's no milk.

'ਦੁੱਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।

I'm going to buy some.’

ਮੈਂ ਕੁਝ ਖਰੀਦਣ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।'

So what you see here is the subject and then the ‘be’ verb - ‘am’.

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋ ਉਹ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ 'ਹੋ' ਕਿਰਿਆ - 'ਅਮ'।

‘I am’

'ਮੈਂ ਹਾਂ'

And then here we used a contraction ‘I'm’.

ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਇੱਥੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਸੰਕੁਚਨ 'ਮੈਂ' ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।

‘I'm going to buy some.’

'ਮੈਂ ਕੁਝ ਖਰੀਦਣ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।'

I made a decision to buy some because there's no milk.

ਮੈਂ ਕੁਝ ਖਰੀਦਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਦੁੱਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।

The next sentence says, ‘It looks like it's going to snow tomorrow.’

ਅਗਲਾ ਵਾਕ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, 'ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਫ਼ ਪੈਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ।'

Here the subject is ‘it’ and so I use the ‘be’ verb – ‘is’.

ਇੱਥੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ 'it' ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ 'be' ਕਿਰਿਆ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ - 'is'।

‘it is’

'ਇਹ ਹੈ'

‘It's’ is the contraction.

'ਇਹ' ਸੰਕੁਚਨ ਹੈ।

‘It's going to’ And then we use the base verb ‘snow’.

'ਇਹ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ' ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਅਧਾਰ ਕਿਰਿਆ 'ਬਰਫ਼' ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

The word ‘tomorrow’ shows that this is a future action.

'ਕੱਲ੍ਹ' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਹੈ।

‘He's going to take a trip in the summer.’

'ਉਹ ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੈਰ ਕਰਨ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।'

Because the subject is ‘he’, we use the ‘be’ verb – is.

ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ 'he' ਹੈ, ਅਸੀਂ 'be' ਕਿਰਿਆ – is ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

And we can use the contraction ‘he's’. ‘he is’ or ‘he's’ going to

ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਸੰਕੁਚਨ 'he's' ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ। 'ਉਹ ਹੈ' ਜਾਂ 'ਉਹ' ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ

And then the base verb ‘take’

ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਅਧਾਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਆ 'ਲੈਣਾ'

‘take a trip in the summer’

'ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਰੋ'

Again an action happening in the future.

ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਰ ਰਹੀ ਇੱਕ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ।

Let's move on.

ਚਲੋ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

Now, let's take a look at the negative form of

ਹੁਣ, ਆਓ

the future simple tense.

ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਸਧਾਰਨ ਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਨਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਰੂਪ 'ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਮਾਰੀਏ।

The first example says, ‘Stan will not like his English score.’

ਪਹਿਲੀ ਉਦਾਹਰਨ ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, 'ਸਟੈਨ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦਾ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਸਕੋਰ ਪਸੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਵੇਗਾ।'

No matter what the subject is, we follow with ‘will not’ and then the

ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਅਸੀਂ 'will not' ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ

base form of the verb.

ਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਦੇ ਅਧਾਰ ਰੂਪ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

‘Stan will not like his English score.’

'ਸਟੇਨ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦਾ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਸਕੋਰ ਪਸੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਵੇਗਾ।'

‘We won't give you money anymore.’

'ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹੁਣ ਪੈਸੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਵਾਂਗੇ।'

In this case, the subject is ‘we’.

ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ, ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ 'ਅਸੀਂ'।

And we follow with the contraction ‘won't’.

ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਸੰਕੁਚਨ 'ਨਹੀਂ' ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

It sounds really different and it's different from other contractions,

ਇਹ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਹੋਰ ਸੰਕੁਚਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਹੈ,

but ‘won't’ is the contraction for ‘will not’

ਪਰ 'won't' 'will not' ਲਈ ਸੰਕੁਚਨ ਹੈ

so you can say ‘we will not’ or ‘we won't’.

ਇਸਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਹਿ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ 'We will not' ਜਾਂ 'We will not'।

They're the same.

ਉਹ ਇੱਕੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਹਨ।

‘We won't give you money anymore.’

'ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹੁਣ ਪੈਸੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਵਾਂਗੇ।'

Again, you notice the base verb ‘give’ after ‘not’.

ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਫਿਰ, ਤੁਸੀਂ 'ਨਾ' ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਆਧਾਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਆ 'ਦੇਣ' ਵੱਲ ਧਿਆਨ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ।

‘He is not going to fly until next week.’

'ਉਹ ਅਗਲੇ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਤੱਕ ਉੱਡਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।'

This sentence uses ‘be going to’.

ਇਹ ਵਾਕ 'be going to' ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

The subject is ‘he’.

ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ ‘ਉਹ’।

And therefore the ‘be’ verb we use is – ‘is’

ਅਤੇ ਇਸਲਈ 'be' ਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਅਸੀਂ ਵਰਤਦੇ ਹਾਂ - 'is'

However we put a ‘not’ after the ‘be’ verb.

ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ 'be' ਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ 'not' ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

‘He is not going to …’ And then the base verb.

'ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ...' ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਅਧਾਰ ਕਿਰਿਆ।

‘He is not going to fly until next week.’

'ਉਹ ਅਗਲੇ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਤੱਕ ਉੱਡਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।'

The last sentence says, ‘You are not going to go to the party tonight.’

ਆਖਰੀ ਵਾਕ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, 'ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅੱਜ ਰਾਤ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ।'

The subject is ‘you’ and so we use the ‘be’ verb – ‘are’.

ਵਿਸ਼ਾ 'ਤੁਸੀਂ' ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਸੀਂ 'be' ਕਿਰਿਆ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ - 'are'।

‘You are not going to go …’ That's the base verb.

'ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ...' ਇਹ ਮੂਲ ਕਿਰਿਆ ਹੈ।

‘… to the party tonight.’

'... ਅੱਜ ਰਾਤ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਲਈ।'

Let's move on.

ਚਲੋ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

Now let's take a look at how to form basic questions in the future simple tense.

ਹੁਣ ਆਓ ਦੇਖੀਏ ਕਿ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਸਧਾਰਨ ਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੂਲ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਬਣਾਏ ਜਾਣ।

The first sentence says, ‘He will play with us.’

ਪਹਿਲਾ ਵਾਕ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, 'ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਖੇਡੇਗਾ।'

To turn this into a question, all we have to do is change the order of the

ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਵਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲਣ ਲਈ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼

first two words.

ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦੋ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਕ੍ਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ।

So ‘He will becomes ‘Will he’.

ਇਸ ਲਈ 'ਉਹ ਵਿਲ' ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

‘Will he play with us?’

'ਕੀ ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਖੇਡੇਗਾ?'

‘The next sentence says, ‘He is going to play with us.’

'ਅਗਲਾ ਵਾਕ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, 'ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਖੇਡਣ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।'

This one uses ‘be going to’.

ਇਹ 'be going to' ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

The subject is ‘he’.

ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ ‘ਉਹ’।

And so the ‘be’ verb to use is – ‘is’.

ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵਰਤਣ ਲਈ 'be' ਕਿਰਿਆ ਹੈ - 'is'।

Then we have ‘going to’ and then the base verb.

ਫਿਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ 'going to' ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਅਧਾਰ ਕਿਰਿਆ ਹੈ।

‘He is going to play with us.’

'ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਖੇਡਣ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।'

When I make a question, I simply again change the order of the first two words.

ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਕੋਈ ਸਵਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦੋ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਕ੍ਰਮ ਬਦਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

‘Is he going to play with us?’

'ਕੀ ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਖੇਡਣ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ?'

Now if the subject were to be ‘you’ or ‘we’ or ‘they’,

ਹੁਣ ਜੇਕਰ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ 'ਤੁਸੀਂ' ਜਾਂ 'ਅਸੀਂ' ਜਾਂ 'ਉਹ' ਹੋਣਾ ਸੀ, ਤਾਂ

we would say ‘they are’.

ਅਸੀਂ 'ਉਹ ਹਨ' ਕਹਾਂਗੇ।

And so the question would say, ‘Are they'.

ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਵਾਲ ਕਹੇਗਾ, 'ਕੀ ਉਹ ਹਨ'।

'Are they going to play with them?’

'ਕੀ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਖੇਡਣ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ?'

for example.

ਉਦਾਹਰਣ ਲਈ.

So again, remember, for ‘will’ in the future simple tense,

The first two sentences use ‘will’ for the future simple tense.

To answer I can say, ‘My team will win the game.’

ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਕਹਿ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ, 'ਮੇਰੀ ਟੀਮ ਖੇਡ ਜਿੱਤੇਗੀ।'

‘When will they arrive?’

'ਉਹ ਕਦੋਂ ਆਉਣਗੇ?'

‘They will arrive in two hours.’

Now these two sentences have ‘be going to’.

‘Where is he going to study?’

In this case, I have the ‘be’ verb – ‘is’ because the subject is ‘he’.

For this checkup let's take a look at the will usage for the future simple tense.

The first example says, ‘Jen and Paul [blank] home soon’

Remember, when using ‘will’ for the future simple tense,

‘I will be a scientist after I graduate.’

'ਮੈਂ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਟ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿਗਿਆਨੀ ਬਣਾਂਗਾ।'

Now try this one, ‘We [blank] that because it smells bad.’

ਹੁਣ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਜ਼ਮਾਓ, 'ਅਸੀਂ [ਖਾਲੀ] ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਦਬੂ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ।'

I want you to use the negative form with the verb ‘eat’.

ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ 'ਖਾਣਾ' ਕਿਰਿਆ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਰੂਪ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰੋ।

Here we say, ‘will not eat’ or remember we can use the contraction ‘won't’.

ਇੱਥੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ, 'ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਵਾਂਗੇ' ਜਾਂ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੋ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਸੰਕੁਚਨ 'ਨਹੀਂ' ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

‘We will not eat that’ or ‘We won't eat that because it smells bad’.

Now look for the mistake in this sentence.

‘I will eat a pizza for lunch.’

Remember, we need the base form of the verb.

Angie and I will play a game.’

And finally, ‘Will she be cook dinner?’

ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ, 'ਕੀ ਉਹ ਰਾਤ ਦਾ ਖਾਣਾ ਬਣਾਵੇਗੀ?'

This is a question.

‘We [blank] going to _blank_ soccer.’

'ਅਸੀਂ [ਖਾਲੀ] _blank_ ਫੁਟਬਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।'

I want you to use the verb ‘watch’.

ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ 'ਵਾਚ' ਕਿਰਿਆ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰੋ।

Remember, for ‘be going to’ in the future simple tense,

‘We are going to’ and then the base verb ‘watch’.

'ਅਸੀਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ' ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਅਧਾਰ ਕਿਰਿਆ 'ਵਾਚ'।

‘We are going to watch soccer.’

'ਅਸੀਂ ਫੁਟਬਾਲ ਦੇਖਣ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।'

‘I [blank] going to [blank].’

The verb is ‘talk’.

And I want you to use the negative form.

ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਰੂਪ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰੋ।

In this case, the subject is ‘I’.

ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ, ਵਿਸ਼ਾ 'ਮੈਂ' ਹੈ।

And so I use the ‘be’ verb – ‘am’.

In a question, especially a ‘WH’ question, we start with the ‘WH’ word,

and then the ‘be’ verb.

‘are’ is the correct ‘be’ verb because the subject is ‘you’.

Then we have ‘going to’.

‘You are going to’ that's correct.

'ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ' ਇਹ ਸਹੀ ਹੈ।

But we need the base form of the verb.

ਪਰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਦੇ ਅਧਾਰ ਰੂਪ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ।

‘You are going to study at home.’

That sounds a little strange.

Remember, we don't need the ‘will’ here.

We're using ‘be going to’ and we need to change the ‘be’ verb to match the subject.

uh-oh We have two verbs here.

‘Is he going to’ - that's correct.

In this video, I will introduce the future continuous English grammar tense.

This tense can be used to express an ongoing action in the future.

I'll go over the basics of this lesson.

One usage of the future continuous tense

is to talk about an ongoing action that will happen in the future.

ਇੱਕ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਕਿਰਿਆ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ।

We include when this action will be happening.

ਅਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਦੋਂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

We can use ‘will be’ or ‘be going to be’.

To do this, let's take a look at some examples.

ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ, ਆਓ ਕੁਝ ਉਦਾਹਰਣਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਮਾਰੀਏ.

‘I will be taking the test soon.’

So you can see here we have the subject and then ‘will be’.

After that, we include verb +ing.

The word ‘soon’ at the end of this sentence indicates when this action will be happening.

This sentence means the same thing as the first sentence,

ਇਸ ਵਾਕ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਵਾਕ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੀ ਹੈ,

but instead of ‘will be’, we used ‘be going to be’.

ਪਰ 'ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ' ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਅਸੀਂ 'ਹੋਣ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ' ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।

Here the subject is ‘I’.

ਇੱਥੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ‘ਮੈਂ’ ਹੈ।

And therefore we have the ‘be’ verb ‘am’.

ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ 'be' ਕਿਰਿਆ 'am' ਹੈ।

‘I am going to be’ And then verb +ing.

'ਮੈਂ ਬਣਨ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ' ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਕਿਰਿਆ + ing.

‘I am going to be taking the test soon.’

'ਮੈਂ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਟੈਸਟ ਦੇਣ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।'

I can also use the contraction and say.

ਮੈਂ ਸੰਕੁਚਨ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਹਿ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ.

‘I'm going to be taking the test soon.’

'ਮੈਂ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਟੈਸਟ ਦੇਣ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।'

The next sentence says, ‘He will be sleeping by 10 p.m.’

ਅਗਲਾ ਵਾਕ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, 'ਉਹ ਰਾਤ 10 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਸੌਂ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ'

And the last sentence says, ‘They are going to be …’

ਅਤੇ ਆਖਰੀ ਵਾਕ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, 'ਉਹ ਹੋਣ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ...'

Here, because the subject is ‘they’, we use ‘are’.

ਇੱਥੇ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ 'ਉਹ' ਹੈ, ਅਸੀਂ 'are' ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

‘They are going to be studying …’ There's the verb +ing

'ਉਹ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ...' ਇੱਥੇ ਕਿਰਿਆ +ing

‘… next October.’

'... ਅਗਲੇ ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ।'

‘by 10 pm’ and ‘next October’ show when these actions will be happening.

'ਰਾਤ 10 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ' ਅਤੇ 'ਅਗਲੀ ਅਕਤੂਬਰ' ਦਿਖਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਕਦੋਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ।

The future continuous tense is also used to show

ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਕਾਲ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਇਹ ਦਰਸਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ

that a short action in the future is happening

ਕਿ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਛੋਟੀ ਕਿਰਿਆ ਵਾਪਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ

during or while a longer action is in progress in the future,.

ਜਾਂ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਲੰਬੀ ਕਿਰਿਆ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।

We can use the word ‘when’ to show when the shorter action occurs.

ਅਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ ਲਈ 'ਕਦੋਂ' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਛੋਟੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਦੋਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।

Take a look at the first example,

ਪਹਿਲੀ ਉਦਾਹਰਣ 'ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਮਾਰੋ,

‘I will be sleeping when they arrive.’

'ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਆਉਣਗੇ ਮੈਂ ਸੌਂ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ।'

Here we see two actions,

ਇੱਥੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਦੋ ਕਿਰਿਆਵਾਂ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹਾਂ,

‘I will be sleeping’ and ‘they arrive’.

'ਮੈਂ ਸੌਂ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ' ਅਤੇ 'ਉਹ ਪਹੁੰਚਦੇ ਹਨ'।

The part of the sentence that's in the future continuous tense is the longer action

ਵਾਕ ਦਾ ਉਹ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਜੋ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਲੰਮੀ ਕਿਰਿਆ ਹੈ

that's in progress in the future.

ਜੋ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।

‘I will be sleeping.’

'ਮੈਂ ਸੌਂ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ |'

Remember, ‘I will be’ and then verb +ing.

ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੋ, 'ਮੈਂ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ' ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਕਿਰਿਆ + ing.

This is the action that is ongoing in the future.

ਇਹ ਉਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।

Then we see ‘when they arrive’.

ਫਿਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹਾਂ 'ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਪਹੁੰਚਦੇ ਹਨ'।

This is in the present tense.

ਇਹ ਵਰਤਮਾਨ ਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ।

‘they arrive’

'ਉਹ ਪਹੁੰਚਦੇ ਹਨ'

This is the shorter action that happens while this action is ongoing.

ਇਹ ਛੋਟੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਵਾਪਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।

‘We will be having dinner when the movie starts.’

'ਫਿਲਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਣ 'ਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਰਾਤ ਦਾ ਖਾਣਾ ਖਾਵਾਂਗੇ।'

This is very similar to the first sentence.

ਇਹ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਵਾਕ ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਜੁਲਦਾ ਹੈ।

‘We will be having dinner …’

'ਅਸੀਂ ਰਾਤ ਦਾ ਖਾਣਾ ਖਾਵਾਂਗੇ ...'

That's the ongoing action that will happen in the future.

ਇਹ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਰੇਗੀ।

And while this is happening, the movie will start.

ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਫਿਲਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

But again, we use the present tense here.

ਪਰ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ, ਅਸੀਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਵਰਤਮਾਨ ਕਾਲ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

‘the movie starts’

'ਫਿਲਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ'

So we will be having dinner when the movie starts.

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜਦੋਂ ਫਿਲਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਰਾਤ ਦਾ ਖਾਣਾ ਖਾਵਾਂਗੇ।

‘Tina is going to be working when you leave.’

'ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਤਾਂ ਟੀਨਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ |'

Remember, we can use ‘be going to be’ in this tense so,

ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੋ, ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਤਣਾਅ ਵਿੱਚ 'be going to be' ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਇਸ ਲਈ,

‘She is going to be working when you leave.’

'ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਛੱਡਣ 'ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।'

This shorter action will happen while this ongoing action is in progress.

ਇਹ ਛੋਟੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਉਦੋਂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।

And finally, ‘It will be raining when you go shopping’.

ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ, 'ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਖਰੀਦਦਾਰੀ ਕਰੋਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ'।

Again, this is the ongoing action.

ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਫਿਰ, ਇਹ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਹੈ.

And this is the shorter action.

ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਛੋਟੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਹੈ।

Let's move on.

Now, I'll talk about the negative form of the future continuous tense.

ਹੁਣ, ਮੈਂ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਨਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਰੂਪ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।

Here are some examples:

ਇੱਥੇ ਕੁਝ ਉਦਾਹਰਣਾਂ ਹਨ:

‘He will not be reading before bed.’

'ਉਹ ਸੌਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।'

For the negative form, after the subject and ‘will’, we say ‘not be’.

ਨਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਰੂਪ ਲਈ, ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਅਤੇ 'will' ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਅਸੀਂ 'not be' ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

And then verb +ing.

ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਕਿਰਿਆ +ing.

‘He will not be reading before bed.’

'ਉਹ ਸੌਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੜ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।'

He'll be doing something else.

ਉਹ ਕੁਝ ਹੋਰ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

The next sentence says,

ਅਗਲਾ ਵਾਕ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,

‘My dad won't be cheering when the game ends.’

'ਖੇਡ ਖਤਮ ਹੋਣ 'ਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜੀ ਖੁਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੇ।'

So this is very similar to the first sentence.

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਵਾਕ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਹੈ।

We have the subject, ‘my dad,’

ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ, 'ਮੇਰੇ ਡੈਡੀ',

and instead of ‘will not’ we use the contraction ‘won't’.

ਅਤੇ 'will not' ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਅਸੀਂ ਸੰਕੁਚਨ 'ਨਹੀਂ' ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

Remember, ‘won't’ is a contraction for ‘will not’.

ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੋ, 'won't' 'wil not' ਲਈ ਸੰਕੁਚਨ ਹੈ।

‘My dad won't …’ and then we have ‘be’ verb +ing.

'ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ ...' ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ 'be' ਕਿਰਿਆ +ing ਹੈ।

‘My dad won't be cheering when the game ends.’

'ਖੇਡ ਖਤਮ ਹੋਣ 'ਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜੀ ਖੁਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੇ।'

The next sentence says, ‘He is not going to be working tomorrow.’

ਅਗਲਾ ਵਾਕ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, 'ਉਹ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।'

Here we have the ‘be going to be’.

ਇੱਥੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ 'ਹੋਣ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ' ਹੈ।

So ‘he’ is the subject and so we use the ‘be’ verb ‘is’.

ਇਸ ਲਈ 'he' ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਸੀਂ 'be' ਕਿਰਿਆ 'is' ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

After the ‘be’ verb, we say ‘not’.

'ਹੋ' ਕਿਰਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਅਸੀਂ 'ਨਾ' ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

He is not going to ‘be’ verb +ing.

ਉਹ ‘ਹੋਣਾ’ ਕ੍ਰਿਆ+ਇੰਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।

‘He is not going to be working tomorrow.’

'ਉਹ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।'

Remember, we can also use a contraction here and say,

ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੋ, ਅਸੀਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਸੰਕੁਚਨ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਹਿ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ,

‘He isn't going to be working tomorrow.’

'ਉਹ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ।'

That's okay as well.

ਇਹ ਵੀ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ।

‘We aren't going to be shopping on Sunday.’

'ਅਸੀਂ ਐਤਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਖਰੀਦਦਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।'

Here the subject is ‘we’.

ਇੱਥੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ ‘ਅਸੀਂ’।

And so the ‘be’ verb to use is ‘are’.

ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵਰਤਣ ਲਈ 'be' ਕਿਰਿਆ 'are' ਹੈ।

I use the contraction here ‘aren't’ for ‘are not’.

ਮੈਂ ਇੱਥੇ 'are not' ਲਈ ਸੰਕੁਚਨ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

‘We are not …’ or ‘We aren't going to be shopping on Sunday.’

'ਅਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ ...' ਜਾਂ 'ਅਸੀਂ ਐਤਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਖਰੀਦਦਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।'

Now let's talk about how to form basic questions in the future continuous tense.

ਹੁਣ ਆਓ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰੀਏ ਕਿ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੁਨਿਆਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਬਣਾਏ ਜਾਣ।

Take a look at this first sentence.

ਇਸ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਵਾਕ 'ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਮਾਰੋ.

It says, ‘He will be traveling next month.’

ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ, 'ਉਹ ਅਗਲੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ।'

Now, to turn this into a question,

ਹੁਣ, ਇਸਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਵਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲਣ ਲਈ,

all you have to do is change the order of the first two words.

The future perfect tense is used to express an action in the future

ਭਵਿੱਖ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਕਾਲ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਕਿਰਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ

that will happen by a specific time in the future.

Let's look at some examples.

We start with the subject.

In this case, ‘The snow’.

ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ, 'ਬਰਫ਼'.

Then, we follow with ‘will have’ and the past participle of the verb.

The next sentence says,

ਅਗਲਾ ਵਾਕ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,

‘By the time he graduates, he will have completed five years of study.’

'ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਟ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪੰਜ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।'

In this sentence,

ਇਸ ਵਾਕ ਵਿੱਚ,

‘By the time he graduates’ or the specific time in the future.

'ਸਮੇਂ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਟ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ' ਜਾਂ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਾਸ ਸਮਾਂ।

comes at the beginning of the sentence

ਵਾਕ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ

so ‘by’ plus ‘a time in the future’

ਇਸ ਲਈ 'ਬਾਈ' ਪਲੱਸ 'ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਾਂ'

can come at the end or it can come at the beginning.

In this case, ‘completed’.

‘By the time he graduates, he will have completed five years of study.’

The next sentence says,

‘Her arm will have fully healed by the summer.’

'ਉਸਦੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਠੀਕ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।'

In this example, ‘by the summer’, the future specific time, comes at the end.

ਇਸ ਉਦਾਹਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ, 'ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ', ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦਾ ਖਾਸ ਸਮਾਂ, ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

By this time in the future, her ‘arm’, that's the subject, will have ‘healed’,

Now, let's talk about the negative form of the future perfect tense.

ਹੁਣ, ਆਉ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਨਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਰੂਪ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰੀਏ।

Here are some examples.

Let's take a look.

ਆਓ ਇੱਕ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਮਾਰੀਏ।

The first sentence says,

ਪਹਿਲਾ ਵਾਕ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,

‘I will not have graduated from university by July.’

'ਮੈਂ ਜੁਲਾਈ ਤੱਕ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ।'

First, I want to point out that at the end, I have the specific time in the future,

ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਦੱਸਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ, ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ

‘byJuly’.

'ਜੁਲਾਈ ਤੱਕ' ਦਾ ਖਾਸ ਸਮਾਂ ਹੈ।

Now for the negative form, what I do is say, ‘subject’ and ‘will not have’,

ਹੁਣ ਨਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਰੂਪ ਲਈ, ਮੈਂ ਕੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, 'ਵਿਸ਼ੇ' ਅਤੇ 'ਹੋਵੇਗਾ' ਨਹੀਂ,

then we put the past participle of the verb.

ਫਿਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਦਾ ਪਿਛਲਾ ਭਾਗ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

‘Ollie and Max will not have spoken ...’

'ਓਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਕਸ ਨੇ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ...'

There it is again, ‘will not have’ and then the past participle of speak ...

ਉੱਥੇ ਇਹ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਹੈ, 'ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ' ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਬੋਲਣ ਦਾ ਪਿਛਲਾ ਭਾਗ ...

which is ‘spoken’.

ਜੋ 'ਬੋਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ' ਹੈ।

‘… before the plane leaves.’

'... ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਦੇ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ।'

Here, instead of the word ‘by’, we used ‘before’ to show a specific time in the

ਇੱਥੇ, ਸ਼ਬਦ 'ਬਾਈ' ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ, ਅਸੀਂ

future.

ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਖਾਸ ਸਮਾਂ ਦਰਸਾਉਣ ਲਈ 'ਪਹਿਲਾਂ' ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।

That's okay as well.

The next sentence says,

‘You will not have eaten dinner by 6 p.m.’

'ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਾਮ 6 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਰਾਤ ਦਾ ਖਾਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਧਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ'

Here, again, we've used ‘by 6 p.m.’ to show a time in the future.

ਇੱਥੇ, ਦੁਬਾਰਾ, ਅਸੀਂ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਾਂ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ ਲਈ 'ਸ਼ਾਮ 6 ਵਜੇ' ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।

And again, you see ‘you will not have’ and then the past participle of eat which

ਅਤੇ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋ 'ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ' ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਖਾਣ ਦਾ ਪਿਛਲਾ ਭਾਗ ਜੋ

is ‘eaten’.

'ਖਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ' ਹੈ।

The last sentence says, ‘By noon …’, there's the time again,

ਆਖ਼ਰੀ ਵਾਕ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, 'ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਤੱਕ ...', ਫਿਰ ਸਮਾਂ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ,

‘I will not have taken off to Japan.’

'ਮੈਂ ਜਾਪਾਨ ਲਈ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ।'

‘taken’ is the past participle of ‘take’.

'ਲੈਣਾ' 'ਲੈਣ' ਦਾ ਪਿਛਲਾ ਭਾਗ ਹੈ।

Now, let's move on to how to form questions in the future perfect tense.

ਹੁਣ, ਆਓ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧੀਏ ਕਿ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਬਣਾਏ ਜਾਣ।

The first sentence here says,

ਇੱਥੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਵਾਕ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,

‘You will have gone to work by 10 a.m.’

'ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਵੇਰੇ 10 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਕੰਮ 'ਤੇ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਹੋਵੋਗੇ'

To turn this into a question, all we have to

ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਵਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲਣ ਲਈ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼

do is switch the order of the first two words.

You can answer by saying, ‘Yes, I will have.’

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ, 'ਹਾਂ, ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।'

or ‘No, I will have not.’

The next sentence says, ‘She will have woken up by noon.’

Again, to turn this into a question just switch the first two words.

To reply, you can say, ‘Yes, she will have.’

If you notice on the board, each of these questions begins with the ‘WH’ word.

So let's take a look at the first question.

ਤਾਂ ਆਓ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਵਾਲ 'ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਮਾਰੀਏ।

‘Where will’…’ then you add ‘the subject’.

'ਕਿੱਥੇ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ'...' ਫਿਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ 'ਵਿਸ਼ਾ' ਜੋੜਦੇ ਹੋ।

In this case, ‘you’.

ਇਸ ਕੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ, 'ਤੁਸੀਂ'.

And then, ‘have’ and after that the past participle of the verb.

ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ, 'have' ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਦਾ ਪਿਛਲਾ ਭਾਗ।

In this case, it's ‘traveled’.

ਇਸ ਕੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ, ਇਹ 'ਯਾਤਰਾ' ਹੈ.

‘Where will you have traveled by December?’

'ਦਸੰਬਰ ਤੱਕ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ?'

I can answer by saying, ‘I will have traveled to Germany and Denmark.’

ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ, 'ਮੈਂ ਜਰਮਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਡੈਨਮਾਰਕ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।'

There are many possible answers here and this is just an example.

ਇੱਥੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਭਵ ਜਵਾਬ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਕੇਵਲ ਇੱਕ ਉਦਾਹਰਣ ਹੈ।

The next question says, ‘What will they have done …’

‘… by the end of the evening?’

'... ਸ਼ਾਮ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਤੱਕ?'

I can answer by saying, ‘They will have done their homework.’

ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ, 'ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੋਮਵਰਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।'

The next question says, ‘Who will she have interviewed by 5 p.m.?’

ਅਗਲਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, 'ਸ਼ਾਮ 5 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਕਿਸਦੀ ਇੰਟਰਵਿਊ ਕਰੇਗੀ?'

Again, ‘who will’ + the subject ‘have’ and the past participle of the verb.

ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਫਿਰ, 'who will' + ਵਿਸ਼ੇ 'have' ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਦਾ ਪਿਛਲਾ ਭਾਗ।

I can answer this question by saying,

ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਸਵਾਲ ਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਇਹ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਦੇ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ,

‘She will have interviewed the teachers by 5 p.m.’

'ਉਹ ਸ਼ਾਮ 5 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੰਟਰਵਿਊ ਲੈ ਲਵੇਗੀ'

And finally, ‘When will they have started to learn?’

ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ, 'ਉਹ ਕਦੋਂ ਸਿੱਖਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨਗੇ?'

One way to answer this question is to say,

‘They will have started to learn in January.’

Let's start this checkup for the future perfect tense.

ਆਉ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਸੰਪੂਰਣ ਕਾਲ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਜਾਂਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰੀਏ।

Take a look at the first sentence.

ਪਹਿਲੇ ਵਾਕ 'ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਮਾਰੋ.

It says, ‘We _blank_ that book by tomorrow.’

ਇਹ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, 'ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਤੱਕ ਖਾਲੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।'

The verb to use is ‘read’.

ਵਰਤਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਰਿਆ 'ਪੜ੍ਹਨਾ' ਹੈ।

Remember, in the future perfect tense, we start with the subject,

ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੋ, ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ, ਅਸੀਂ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ,

and we have that here, ‘we’.

ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਉਹ ਹੈ, 'ਅਸੀਂ'।

Then say, ‘will have’ and the past participle of the verb.

ਫਿਰ ਕਹੋ, 'will' ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਦਾ ਪਿਛਲਾ ਭਾਗ।

So here we need to say ‘will have’.

What is the past participle of ‘read’?

'ਪੜ੍ਹਨ' ਦਾ ਪਿਛਲਾ ਭਾਗ ਕੀ ਹੈ?

The correct answer is ‘read’.

ਸਹੀ ਜਵਾਬ 'ਪੜ੍ਹਨਾ' ਹੈ।

They're spelled the same, but they are pronounced differently.

ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ-ਜੋੜ ਇੱਕੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਵੱਖਰੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

‘We will have read that book by tomorrow.’

The next sentence says, ‘She _blank_ the video by bedtime.’

Here we have ‘not’ so I want you to try the negative form.

ਇੱਥੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ 'ਨਹੀਂ' ਹੈ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਰੂਪ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰੋ।

And the verb to try is ‘watch’.

ਅਤੇ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਿਆ 'ਵਾਚ' ਹੈ।

In the negative form, we start with the subject.

ਨਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ, ਅਸੀਂ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ.

And instead of ‘will have’, we say ‘will not have’.

ਅਤੇ 'will have' ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ, ਅਸੀਂ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ 'will not have'।

‘She will not have …’ Then we need the past participle of the verb.

'ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ...' ਫਿਰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਦੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ।

In this case, it is ‘watched’.

‘She will not have watched the video by bedtime.’

'ਉਸਨੇ ਸੌਣ ਵੇਲੇ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਖੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।'

Now find the mistake in the next sentence.

ਹੁਣ ਅਗਲੇ ਵਾਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਲਤੀ ਲੱਭੋ।

‘Ryan will not have be to Cuba by summer.’

'ਰਿਆਨ ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿਊਬਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।'

This is the negative form because we have ‘will not have’.

ਇਹ ਨਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ 'ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ' ਹੈ।

That's correct.

ਇਹ ਸਹੀ ਹੈ।

But we need the past participle of ‘be’.

ਪਰ ਸਾਨੂੰ 'ਹੋਣ' ਦੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ।

So we need to change it to ‘been’.

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਸਨੂੰ 'ਹੋ ਗਿਆ' ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ।

‘Ryan will not have been to Cuba by summer.’

'ਰਿਆਨ ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿਊਬਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।'

The last sentence says, ‘I will have go to school by 8 30 a.m.’

ਆਖਰੀ ਵਾਕ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, 'ਮੈਂ ਸਵੇਰੇ 8 30 ਵਜੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਜਾਣਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ'

Here, we have the affirmative, ‘will have’.

ਇੱਥੇ, ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਹਾਂ-ਪੱਖੀ ਹੈ, 'ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ'।

But, uh oh, we forgot the past participle of ‘go’ which is ‘gone’.

ਪਰ, ਓਹ, ਅਸੀਂ 'ਗੋ' ਦੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਭਾਗ ਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲ ਗਏ ਜੋ 'ਗਿਆ' ਹੈ।

‘I will have gone to school by 8 30 a.m.’

'ਮੈਂ ਸਵੇਰੇ 8 30 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਸਕੂਲ ਚਲਾ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ'

In this video, I will talk about the future perfect continuous tense.

This tense can be used to describe an ongoing action

or situation that will last for a specified period of time in the future.

ਜਾਂ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਦਾ ਵਰਣਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਰਹੇਗੀ।

The future perfect continuous tense is used to talk about an ongoing situation

ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਕਾਲ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ

that will be in progress for a period of time at a specific point in time in the future.

ਜੋ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਖਾਸ ਬਿੰਦੂ 'ਤੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਮਿਆਦ ਲਈ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ।

Let's take a look at some examples.

ਆਓ ਕੁਝ ਉਦਾਹਰਣਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਮਾਰੀਏ।

The first sentence says,

ਪਹਿਲਾ ਵਾਕ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,

‘She will have been living in Ireland for 10 years at that point.’

So no matter what the subject, in this case we have ‘she’,

we follow with ‘will have been’ and then ‘verb +ing’.

So, ‘She will have been living in Ireland …’

Then this sentence has the duration.

What period of time will this last? ‘for 10 years’

And when?

Remember, we need a point in time in the future.

We'll see some specific examples in the next sentence.

Here, the specific time in the future comes at the beginning of the sentence.

‘By midnight’ And, again, we see ‘will have been’ +

'ਅੱਧੀ ਰਾਤ ਤੱਕ' ਅਤੇ, ਦੁਬਾਰਾ, ਅਸੀਂ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹਾਂ 'will have been' +

verb 'ing'.

ਕਿਰਿਆ 'ing'।

‘By midnight, he will have been sleeping for four hours.’.

'ਅੱਧੀ ਰਾਤ ਤੱਕ, ਉਹ ਚਾਰ ਘੰਟੇ ਸੌਂ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।'

Here we have ‘for four hours’.

ਇੱਥੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ 'ਚਾਰ ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਲਈ' ਹੈ।

This shows the duration or how long this action will be in progress.

ਇਹ ਅਵਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਿੰਨੀ ਦੇਰ ਤੱਕ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ।

So, again, ‘By midnight he will have been sleeping for four hours.’

ਤਾਂ ਫਿਰ, 'ਅੱਧੀ ਰਾਤ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਚਾਰ ਘੰਟੇ ਸੌਂ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।'

The last sentence says, ‘In June …’

Here, again, we have the specific time in the future at the beginning of the sentence.

ਇੱਥੇ, ਦੁਬਾਰਾ, ਵਾਕ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਾਸ ਸਮਾਂ ਹੈ।

‘In June, ‘we’ that's the subject.

‘… at this university for four years.’

'… ਚਾਰ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿਚ।'

Here is the duration, ‘for four years’.

ਇੱਥੇ ਮਿਆਦ ਹੈ, 'ਚਾਰ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਲਈ'।

Now, let's look at the negative form of the future perfect continuous tense.

ਹੁਣ, ਆਓ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਨਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਰੂਪ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖੀਏ।

In the affirmative form, we say ‘subject’ + ‘will have been’ and then ‘verb +ing’.

ਹਾਂ-ਪੱਖੀ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ, ਅਸੀਂ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ 'ਵਿਸ਼ੇ' + 'ਹੋਵੇਗਾ' ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ 'ਕਿਰਿਆ + ing'।

In the negative form, however, we say, ‘subject’ + ‘will not have been’

ਨੈਗੇਟਿਵ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ, ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਅਸੀਂ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ, 'ਵਿਸ਼ਾ' + 'ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ'

and then ‘verb +ing’.

ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ 'ਕਿਰਿਆ + ing'।

Let's take a look at some examples.

ਆਓ ਕੁਝ ਉਦਾਹਰਣਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਮਾਰੀਏ।

The first sentence here says,

ਇੱਥੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਵਾਕ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,

‘At that point, I will not have been living in Spain for 10 years.’

'ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ, ਮੈਂ 10 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਪੇਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।'

And so you see it.

ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋ.

‘I’ is the subject.

Again, we see the ‘subject’ + ‘will not have been’ and then ‘verb +ing’,

ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਫਿਰ, ਅਸੀਂ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹਾਂ 'ਵਿਸ਼ਾ' + 'ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ' ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ 'ਕ੍ਰਿਆ + ਕਰਨਾ',

‘sleeping’.

'ਸਲੀਪਿੰਗ'।

The last sentence says,

ਆਖਰੀ ਵਾਕ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,

‘By then, we will not have been studying at this university for three years.’

'ਉਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ, ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿਚ ਤਿੰਨ ਸਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।'

Again, we see the ‘subject’ + ‘we will not have been’ and then ‘verb +ing’

ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਫਿਰ, ਅਸੀਂ ਇੱਥੇ 'ਵਿਸ਼ਾ' + 'ਅਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇਗਾ' ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ 'ਕਿਰਿਆ + ing'

here, ‘studying’.

ਇੱਥੇ 'ਅਧਿਐਨ ਕਰਨਾ'।

Let's move on.

ਚਲੋ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

Now let's take a look at how to form questions in the future perfect continuous tense.

ਹੁਣ ਆਓ ਦੇਖੀਏ ਕਿ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਬਣਾਏ ਜਾਣ।

Here, the sentence says,

ਇੱਥੇ, ਵਾਕ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,

‘Sean will have been playing soccer for a year by December.’

'ਸੀਨ ਦਸੰਬਰ ਤੱਕ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਲਈ ਫੁਟਬਾਲ ਖੇਡਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।'

To turn this into a question, all we have to do is switch the order of the first two

ਇਸਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਵਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲਣ ਲਈ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦੋ

words.

ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਕ੍ਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਣਾ ਹੈ।

So instead of ‘Sean will’, I can say ‘Will Sean’.

ਇਸ ਲਈ ‘ਸੀਨ ਵਿਲ’ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ‘ਵਿਲ ਸੀਨ’ ਕਹਿ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

‘Will Sean have been playing soccer for a year by December?’

'ਕੀ ਸੀਨ ਦਸੰਬਰ ਤੱਕ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਲਈ ਫੁਟਬਾਲ ਖੇਡਦਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ?'

You'll notice that the rest of the sentence stays the same.

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੇਖੋਗੇ ਕਿ ਬਾਕੀ ਦੀ ਵਾਕ ਉਹੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।

I can answer by saying, ‘Yes, he will have.’

ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ, 'ਹਾਂ, ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।'

or ‘No, he will have not.’

ਜਾਂ 'ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।'

The next sentence says,

ਅਗਲਾ ਵਾਕ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,

‘They will have been working there for three months by that time.’

'ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਤਿੰਨ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।'

Again, I changed the order of the first two words.

ਦੁਬਾਰਾ, ਮੈਂ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦੋ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਕ੍ਰਮ ਬਦਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

To turn this into a question ‘They will’ becomes ‘Will they’.

ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਵਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲਣ ਲਈ 'ਉਹ ਕਰਨਗੇ' 'ਕੀ ਉਹ' ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

‘Will they have been working there for three months by that time?’

'ਕੀ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੱਕ ਉਥੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ?'

Again, the rest of the sentence stays the same.

ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਫਿਰ, ਬਾਕੀ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਉਹੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ.

I can answer by saying, ‘Yes, they will have.’

ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ, 'ਹਾਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।'

or ‘No, they will have not.’

ਜਾਂ 'ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।'

Now let's take a look at how to form ‘WH” questions in the future perfect continuous

ਹੁਣ ਆਓ ਦੇਖੀਏ ਕਿ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ

tense.

ਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ 'WH' ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਬਣਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

Take a look at the board.

ਬੋਰਡ 'ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਮਾਰੋ.

All of these questions begin with a ‘WH’ word.

ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਵਾਲ 'WH' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।

‘where’ ‘what’

'ਕਿੱਥੇ' 'ਕੀ'

'ਕੌਣ' ਅਤੇ 'ਕਿੰਨਾ ਚਿਰ'

Take a look at the first question.

ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਵਾਲ 'ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਮਾਰੋ।

‘Where will you have been walking?’

'ਕਿੱਥੇ ਤੁਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ?'

To form a ‘WH’ question, we start with the ‘WH’ word, then ‘will’.

'WH' ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ, ਅਸੀਂ 'WH' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਫਿਰ 'will'।

After that, we add the subject, ‘you’, ‘they’, ‘she’ and ‘you’.

ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਅਸੀਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਜੋੜਦੇ ਹਾਂ, 'ਤੁਸੀਂ', 'ਉਹ', 'ਉਹ' ਅਤੇ 'ਤੁਸੀਂ'।

After that, we add ‘have been’ + ‘verb +ing’.

ਅਤੇ 'ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ...?'

There's the ‘verb +ing’.

ਇੱਥੇ 'ਕ੍ਰਿਆ + ing' ਹੈ।

‘ … there by the time you finish?’

' ... ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਖਤਮ ਹੋਣ ਤੱਕ ਉੱਥੇ?'

So let's go through one more time and I'll show you how to answer these questions.

ਤਾਂ ਚਲੋ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਹੋਰ ਚੱਲੀਏ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿਖਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਵਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਦੇਣੇ ਹਨ।

‘Where will you have been walking?’

'ਕਿੱਥੇ ਤੁਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ?'

I can answer by saying, ‘I will have been walking in the park.’

ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ, 'ਮੈਂ ਪਾਰਕ ਵਿਚ ਸੈਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।'

‘What will they have been playing?’

'ਉਹ ਕੀ ਖੇਡਦੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ?'

‘They will have been playing video games.’

'ਉਹ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਗੇਮਾਂ ਖੇਡ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।'

‘Who will she have been talking to?’

'ਉਹ ਕਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ?'

‘She will have been talking to her cousin.’

'ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਚੇਰੇ ਭਰਾ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।'

And finally,

ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ,

‘How long will you have been working there by the time you finish?’

'ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਉੱਥੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਵੋਗੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ?'

‘By the time I finish, I will have been working there for five years.’

'ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਪੰਜ ਸਾਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ।'

Let's move on.

ਚਲੋ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

Let's start a checkup for the future perfect continuous tense.

ਆਉ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਸੰਪੂਰਣ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਕਾਲ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਜਾਂਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰੀਏ।

Take a look at the board.

ਬੋਰਡ 'ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਮਾਰੋ.

The first sentence says,

ਪਹਿਲਾ ਵਾਕ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,

‘By 10 p.m., I _blank_ that game for three hours.’

'ਰਾਤ 10 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ, ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਗੇਮ ਨੂੰ ਤਿੰਨ ਘੰਟੇ ਲਈ _blank_ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।'

I’m looking to use the verb ‘play’.

ਮੈਂ 'ਪਲੇ' ਕਿਰਿਆ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ/ਰਹੀ ਹਾਂ।

Remember, in this tense, we need to have ‘subject’ + ‘will have been’ and then ‘verb +ing’.

ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੋ, ਇਸ ਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ, ਸਾਨੂੰ 'ਸਬਜੇਕਟ' + 'will have been' ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ 'verb +ing' ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।

So ‘By 10 p.m., I will have been playing …’

ਇਸ ਲਈ 'ਰਾਤ 10 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ, ਮੈਂ ਖੇਡ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ ...'

Again, we need ‘verb +ing’.

ਦੁਬਾਰਾ, ਸਾਨੂੰ 'ਕਿਰਿਆ + ing' ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ।

‘… I will have been playing that game for three hours.

'… ਮੈਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਹ ਗੇਮ ਖੇਡਦਾ ਰਹਾਂਗਾ।

The next sentence says,

ਅਗਲਾ ਵਾਕ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,

‘When she gets here, he _blank_ dinner for an hour.’

'ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਇੱਥੇ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਘੰਟੇ ਲਈ _blank_ ਡਿਨਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।'

Try to use the verb ‘cook’.

ਕਿਰਿਆ 'ਕੂਕ' ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰੋ।

Again, no matter what the subject, it doesn't change.

ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਫਿਰ, ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਦਲਦਾ।

‘When she gets here, he will have been cooking …’

'ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਇੱਥੇ ਆਵੇਗੀ, ਉਹ ਖਾਣਾ ਬਣਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ...' '

‘When she gets here, he will have been cooking dinner for an hour.’

ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਇੱਥੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਘੰਟੇ ਲਈ ਰਾਤ ਦਾ ਖਾਣਾ ਬਣਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।'

Now, find the mistake in the next sentence.

ਹੁਣ, ਅਗਲੇ ਵਾਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਲਤੀ ਲੱਭੋ.

‘Steve and Jan will not have be waiting for a year when it arrives.’

'ਸਟੀਵ ਅਤੇ ਜੈਨ ਦੇ ਆਉਣ 'ਤੇ ਇਕ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।'

Here, we have a negative form, ‘they will not have’.

ਇੱਥੇ, ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਇੱਕ ਨਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ, 'ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੇ'।

Then we need ‘been’.

ਫਿਰ ਸਾਨੂੰ 'ਹੋਇਆ' ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

‘They will not have been …’

'ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਏ ਹੋਣਗੇ ...'

And then the ‘verb +ing’ is here so that's correct.

ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ 'ਕਿਰਿਆ + ing' ਇੱਥੇ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਸਹੀ ਹੈ।

‘Steve and Jan will not have been waiting for a year when it arrives.’

'ਸਟੀਵ ਅਤੇ ਜੈਨ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਆਵੇਗਾ।'

The last sentence says,

ਆਖਰੀ ਵਾਕ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,

‘It will have been work for 10 years on January 15th.’

'15 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ 10 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।'

So maybe here I’m talking about a computer or a TV.

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਇੱਥੇ ਮੈਂ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਜਾਂ ਟੀ.ਵੀ. ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।

Maybe some kind of machine.

ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਕਿਸੇ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀ ਮਸ਼ੀਨ।

‘it’ ‘It will have been …’

'ਇਹ' 'ਇਹ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ...'

I see the mistake here.

ਮੈਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਗਲਤੀ ਦੇਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।

We need ‘verb +ing’.

ਸਾਨੂੰ 'ਕਿਰਿਆ + ing' ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ।

‘It will have been working for 10 years on January 15th.

'ਇਹ 15 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ 10 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
