talaga syempre gusto kong malaman kung ano ang pag-aaralan mo

I want to be a teacher just like you  how did you become a great teacher

Gusto kong maging isang guro tulad mo paano ka naging isang mahusay na guro

well it all began when I was at the high school  the last year to be exact ly I was not sure about

what I wanted to study then I mean what career  to study so I decided not to study for the moment

I started working hard to save money so I kind  of study a professional career later I had a  

nagsimula akong magtrabaho nang husto para makaipon ng pera kaya medyo nag-aaral ako ng propesyunal na karera mamaya nagkaroon ako ng maraming

lot of different jobs son I was a carpenter  an assistant a bricklayer a seller a waiter

iba't ibang trabaho anak ako ay isang karpintero isang katulong isang bricklayer isang nagbebenta isang waiter

well I had to work hard for some  years but unluckily I couldn't  

well kailangan kong magtrabaho nang husto sa loob ng ilang taon ngunit sa kasamaang palad ay hindi ako nakapag

but my salary was not so good I didn't  earn enough to pay the University

but one day I decided I was going to start  no matter what and maybe you're asking how

I passed that test and I got a vacancy I was so  happy even when I didn't know how I would pay

nakapasa ako sa pagsusulit na iyon at nakakuha ako ng vacant sobrang saya ko kahit na hindi ko alam kung paano ako magbabayad.

marami siyang tanong sa akin like saan ka nakatira. ano ang pinagkakakitaan mo

who are your parents what are your plans  for the future how much do you earn a month

na magulang mo ano ang plano mo sa kinabukasan magkano ang kinikita mo sa isang buwan

you know I come from a poor City my parents  are poor and we went through difficult times  

alam mo na galing ako sa mahirap na Lungsod mahirap ang mga magulang ko at pinagdaanan namin ang mahirap na panahon

I explained that to the woman who was  interviewing me she was a psychologist

ipinaliwanag ko iyon sa babaeng nag-iinterbyu sa akin siya ay isang psychologist

and then she told me something that was  going to change the course of my life  

at pagkatapos ay sinabi niya sa akin ang isang bagay na magpapabago sa takbo ng aking buhay

she told me you shouldn't study at this University  

sinabi niya sa akin na hindi ka dapat mag-aral sa Unibersidad na ito

you are poor and you don't earn enough  money you should go to a public university

mahirap ka at hindi sapat ang iyong kinikita dapat kang pumunta sa isang public university

I was like I didn't know what to answer she  continued you better go to a public university

I was shocked by what she had told me I always  wanted to go to that University because I knew

it was one of the best in the country of course it  was not cheap but I wanted to study there anyway

and when she said you can't do it I felt terrible  I felt that all my dreams were collapsing  

and when she said you can't do it I nakaramdam ako ng kakila-kilabot Naramdaman kong gumuho ang lahat ng aking mga pangarap

that day I went to my apartment and I was thinking  about what she had told me I was so depressed

noong araw na iyon ay pumunta ako sa aking apartment at iniisip ko ang sinabi niya sa akin na nanlumo ako

but then I got angry just because she told me  I couldn't I wasn't going to listen to her am  

ngunit pagkatapos ay nagalit ako dahil lamang sa sinabi niya sa akin na hindi ako pupunta. para makinig sa kanya

I right well the next day I went back  to the office and paid to take my test

tama ba ako kinabukasan bumalik ako sa opisina at nagbayad para kumuha ng pagsusulit

as I told you before I passed the test and I was  in I was very happy but I still didn't know how I

and they gave it to me that's how I could pay  the University but it was a lot of money anyway

the money I earned every month wasn't enough  by my second year of college I already owed

I investigated a lot to find a solution  then I find out that the University was  

marami akong nag-imbestiga para makahanap ng solusyon noon Nalaman ko na ang Unibersidad ay

given a scholarship but this scholarship was  only for the best students in the University  

binigyan ng iskolarsip ngunit ang iskolarsip na ito ay para lamang sa

when I was at the school I failed maths many times  and I had to go to the summer school to fix it

I was not a good student but I had to do it this  time I had no option I had to be the best student

if I wanted to continue studying I had to  become the best student and have high grades  

Kung gusto kong ipagpatuloy ang pag-aaral kailangan kong maging pinakamahusay na mag-aaral at magkaroon ng matataas na marka

it was not easy but I had to do it anyway so I  decided to work really hard to reach that goal

hindi ito madali ngunit kailangan kong gawin ito kaya nagpasya akong magsumikap na maabot ang layuning iyon

and you know what the worst thing was that I had  to be the best student and work at the same time  

at alam mo kung ano ang pinakamasamang bagay na mayroon ako to be the best student and work at the same time

yeah I had to keep working as a teacher to pay  the university the bank loan and all my stuff

I spent a lot of nights studying hard sometimes  I didn't sleep because I had an important exam

the next morning I had to get a perfect score if  I wanted to get that scholarship it was not easy

I didn't eat well remember I lived alone and most  

hindi ako nakakain ng maayos tandaan na namuhay akong mag-isa at kadalasan ay

of the times I didn't have enough  time to cook some healthy food  

wala akong sapat na oras para magluto ng masustansyang pagkain

so I sometimes just fry something to it  or ordered something to eat for delivery

kaya Minsan ay nagpiprito lang ako dito o nag-uutos ng makakain para sa paghahatid

but all those efforts one day ped off seriously  I worked hard and I became the best student in  

ngunit lahat ng mga pagsisikap na iyon isang araw ay seryosong nagsumikap ako at ako ang naging pinakamahusay na estudyante sa

the University I got the scholarship even  when I had always been the worst student

Unibersidad na nakuha ko ang scholarship kahit na ako ay palaging ang pinakamasamang estudyante

can you believe it I graduated  from University and now here I am  

maaari mo ba maniwala ka nagtapos ako sa Unibersidad at ngayon heto ako ako

I am a licensed English teacher I earn enough  money to pay the rent and everything I'm so happy

ay isang lisensiyadong guro sa Ingles na kumikita ako ng sapat na pera para bayaran ang renta at lahat ng bagay ay napakasaya ko

I just want to tell you that if you want  something to happen don't just wait for it  

gusto ko lang sabihin sa iyo na kung gusto mo ang isang bagay na mangyari huwag lamang maghintay para mangyari

to happen do something about it whatever but  try to do something you can do it I trust you

gawin mo kahit ano pa man pero subukan mong gumawa ng isang bagay kaya mo yan may tiwala ako sayo

that story was amazing thank you Dad I  promise I will work hard to reach my dreams
