all right here we are so did  you bring the the shopping

list of course I did John I'm not  that forgetful but you know what I  

just realized I didn't add x x how can  you forget X we eat them every morning

well maybe if you helped me make the  list once in a while I wouldn't forget

things here we go again I'm just saying  you had one job make the list it's not that

hard oh like your job isn't buying  more stupid t-shirts you don't even

we you've got what 20 of them  now so please don't tell me

anything what they're not  stupid Sarah and I we them

sometimes right and I suppose that new  jacket you bought last week was also

necessary what can I tell you it was on  sale it had a great discount I had to take

it we don't need more clothes  John you're always spending  

money on on things we don't need and then  complain when I buy a new pillow for the

couch you're right a new pillow  Sarah you've bought like five in  

the last month seriously how many  pillows does one couch need tell

me what well sorry if I actually  care about making the house look

nice but you wouldn't  understand that good J of course

not all you care about is your precious  football jerseys Am I Wrong tell me all  

right because pillows are so much  more important than I don't know  

actual food speaking of which  what else did you forget on the

list I didn't forget anything else John  but if we are talking about forgetting

things you forgot to check the fridge  this morning didn't you so tell

me how are we supposed to know  what we need I don't know tell me

John this is going to be a long day  isn't it look I don't want to fight  

today please why don't we go grocery  shopping later while we come down a

little we can go to the store on the fifth  floor to see more things for the home okay let's

go hey this one's nice it's comfortable and  it's got those built-in USB ports pretty  

cool right cool it's ugly John it looks like it  belongs in a bachelor pad we need something more

elegant elegant we're buying a couch  not planning a wedding this one is

practical I can't believe you you just  want something cheap and convenient

but I actually want the house to look  I don't know good I like this one over

here that one it's way too  fancy for us s and look at the

price no absolutely not we  can't spend that much on a

couch oh so now you care about spending too  much but buying $30 t-shirts every week is

fine I can't believe it here we go again  you know what I don't want to fight

please let's take whatever you want  okay take the expensive one that's

okay yeah we can eat fried egg with  some potatoes for some months right why

not I don't want anything I don't  like this couch or any other forget it  

it also now you don't want anything  who can understand you I can't believe

it Sarah I don't want to fight with  you please why don't we better I don't

know let's better eat something okay  I am hungry I suppose you are too

I have seen that the foot court is on  the fourth floor we better go there to

eat all right here we are we  can order some food is that

okay yeah let's sit here I'm trying to be  healthy and we've been eating junk all week

you can't be serious on a  Sunday come on Sarah it's the

weekend let's get a burger or  pizza something we can actually

enjoy enjoy you're going to enjoy  sickness that's what you're going to enjoy

oh please you're kidding right  one Burger isn't going to kill

me besides you had that chocolate cake last  night so don't talk to me about healthy

eating that cake was a special occasion and  you didn't seem to mind having two slices

of course well I wasn't  going to let it go to waste

right fine eat your burger but don't  complain when your jeans don't fit next

week you know sometimes I wonder  if we ever agree on anything

anymore me too honestly but hey at  least we are good at arguing that's

something that's probably not  something to be proud of you

know maybe not but look at us we've  been married for years and we are still

standing yes of course but why do we fight  so much this is not good and you know

it lately our fights have been more  constant and very exhausting I feel that

way I feel that way too I'm tired of  fighting with you all the time John very

tired we almost never agree on what we're  going to eat one day that's not good at

all maybe we've just outgrown each  other I mean we used to have so much fun

together now it feels like we're just I  don't know what is the word probably stuck

are you saying you think we  should end it is that what you

want I don't know Sarah I don't want  to keep fighting like this day after

day it's draining and I don't  think either of us is happy

right you're right we've both been  miserable and we keep blaming each other for

everything but do you really think it's  worth giving up on everything we've

built I don't want to but maybe we've changed  

maybe we're not the same people  who fell in love all those years

ago do you remember why we got married  why we fell in love in the first

place yeah I do we used to laugh at the  dumbest things we were always on the same

page I loved how you could make even the  worst days feel brighter it was awesome

yeah and I love how you always  made me feel safe no matter

what you were my rock John we promised to be  there for each other through the good and the

bad and now it feels like we're barely hanging on  but I don't want to lose that I don't want to lose  

you we've been focusing on all the wrong  things instead of tearing each other

down we need to start building each  other up again we need to find that  

connection we had we can do that we've made  it this far right we just need to try harder

to listen more to understand each other  better we can fix this John I know we

can I know we can too I don't want to  throw away everything we've been through

together we've had so many good times  and there is no reason we can't have more

so what do you say no more silly  fights other couches or pillows or

t-shirts yeah we'll do it together we'll  figure it out one step at a time I promise  

I love you JN I have always loved you and  I will love you for the rest of my life  

I love you too babe you are my life I promise  you we will figure this out I hope you liked
