How to Respond to These Common "How" Questions in English

So originally, I wasn't going to make

We have a lot of work to do on the farm

One of my favorite ways to respond

is to use the English phrase, "So far, so good."

I like this phrase

because it doesn't mean that everything's been amazing.

It doesn't mean that everything's been going badly.

It means that up until this point,

Let's imagine you've started a new job

So another way that you can answer a question

So a few weeks ago I was at a family reunion

This is another really subtle way to answer the question.
