a big hello to all those watching  around the world maybe you are in the uk

um grande olá para todos aqueles que estão assistindo ao redor do mundo talvez você esteja no reino unido

maybe in europe or maybe somewhere else

talvez na europa ou talvez em outro lugar

thank you very much for joining me  today on this special live stream

muito obrigado por se juntar a mim hoje nesta transmissão ao vivo especial

something very different a few days  ago we planned to do a live stream

algo muito diferente em alguns dias atrás planejamos fazer uma transmissão ao vivo

talking about a particular  subject we had to scrap that

falando sobre um assunto específico que tivemos que descartar

because of course three days ago here in the uk

porque é claro que três dias atrás aqui no Reino Unido

a lot of people felt shocked surprised  saddened by the news of the death  

muitas pessoas ficaram chocadas surpresa triste com a notícia da morte

of the queen of england queen elizabeth ii

da rainha da inglaterra rainha elizabeth ii

who had been well the queen of this country  the leader of this country the monarch

que foi bem a rainha deste país a líder deste país a monarca

there are many ways of describing her

há muitas maneiras de descrevê-la

for 70 years she was a part of everyone's life  

por 70 anos ela fez parte da vida de todos

i know from my own point of view from  my own experience she was always there

eu sei do meu próprio ponto de vista por minha própria experiência ela sempre esteve lá

and i suppose a word that many  people used is the word constant

e suponho que uma palavra que muitas pessoas usaram é a palavra constante,

something that's always  with you so for many people

algo que está sempre com você, para muitas pessoas,

even if they are not royalists or monarchists

mesmo que não sejam monarquistas ou monarquistas,

and i have to say i am not a  big monarchist or a royalist

e devo dizer que não sou um grande monarquista ou monarquista.

however i do find the stability that  is given by having a king or queen

ver eu acho a estabilidade que é dada por ter um rei ou rainha

gives some sort of stability

dá algum tipo de estabilidade

and i suppose reassurance  so so imagine three days ago

e suponho que tranquilização, então imagine três dias atrás

the shock when the queen sadly passed away

o choque quando a rainha faleceu tristemente

and now we are in a state of something  called morning morning you mourn someone

e agora estamos em um estado de algo chamado manhã de manhã você está de luto por alguém

and i suppose i should mention now that  yesterday we we lost a member of our own family

e suponho que devo mencionar agora que ontem perdemos um membro de nossa própria família

and i suppose i should say straight away

e suponho que devo dizer imediatamente,

before i get too upset that we did  lose a member of our family yesterday

antes que fique muito chateado por termos perdido um membro de nossa família ontem,

sadly mr steve's mother  passed away yesterday morning

infelizmente, a mãe do sr steve faleceu ontem de manhã

and well i don't think i need to tell you that  we are all in a state of shock at the moment

e bem, acho que não preciso dizer a você que estamos todos em estado de choque no momento

and mr steve won't be here

e o sr steve não estará aqui

steve of course a regular contributor he  is the person who is always by my side

steve, claro, um colaborador regular, ele é a pessoa que está sempre ao meu lado

and yesterday we received the news in  the early hours of yesterday morning

e ontem recebemos a notícia nas primeiras horas da manhã de ontem

that sadly mr steve's mother  had passed away at the age of 91

que, infelizmente, a mãe do senhor steve faleceu aos 91 anos,

so i i don't need to tell you that  we are feeling a little bit unhappy

então não preciso dizer que estamos nos sentindo um pouco infelizes,

but i had to come here today to let you know

mas tive que vir aqui hoje para que você saiba

because i know many of you arrange your day

porque e eu sei que muitos de vocês organizam seu dia de

your sunday around my live streams

domingo em torno de minhas transmissões ao vivo,

so i thought it was only  fair to come on here today

então pensei que era justo vir aqui hoje

and let you know what was happening  the reason why i wasn't here

e contar o que estava acontecendo, o motivo pelo qual eu não estava aqui

or should i say the reason why my live  stream is not the same as it normally is

ou devo dizer o motivo do meu show a transmissão não é a mesma que normalmente

my first thought was to cancel today's  live stream i wasn't going to be here

meu primeiro pensamento foi cancelar a transmissão ao vivo de hoje eu não estaria aqui não

we weren't going to do anything

but from my own point of view it didn't feel right

mas do meu ponto de vista não parecia certo,

it only felt fair to let you know  so this is a very short message

a very short live stream on top  of everything that's happened

already here over the past three days

and i would imagine that many  people who don't live in the uk

e eu imagino que muitas pessoas que não moram no Reino Unido

or even have any experience with uk culture  must find all of this rather strange

ou sequer têm alguma experiência com a cultura do Reino Unido deve achar tudo isso um tanto estranho, as

people feeling shocked and surprised  at the passing of the queen

pessoas se sentem chocadas e surpresas com a morte da rainha

and also the feeling of  sadness that everyone is having

e também com o sentimento de tristeza que todos estão tendo
