a big hello to all those watching  around the world maybe you are in the uk

un gran saludo a todos los que miran en todo el mundo, tal vez estén en el Reino Unido,

maybe in europe or maybe somewhere else

tal vez en europa o tal vez en otro lugar,

thank you very much for joining me  today on this special live stream

muchas gracias por acompañarme hoy en esta transmisión en vivo especial,

something very different a few days  ago we planned to do a live stream

algo muy diferente unos días. Hace tres días planeamos hacer una transmisión en vivo

talking about a particular  subject we had to scrap that

hablando de un tema en particular que tuvimos que desechar

because of course three days ago here in the uk

porque, por supuesto, hace tres días aquí en el Reino Unido,

a lot of people felt shocked surprised  saddened by the news of the death  

mucha gente se sintió conmocionada, sorprendida, entristecida por la noticia de la muerte

of the queen of england queen elizabeth ii

de la reina de Inglaterra, la reina Isabel II.

who had been well the queen of this country  the leader of this country the monarch

quien había sido la reina de este país la líder de este país la monarca

there are many ways of describing her

hay muchas maneras de describirla

for 70 years she was a part of everyone's life  

durante 70 años ella fue parte de la vida de todos lo

i know from my own point of view from  my own experience she was always there

sé desde mi propio punto de vista por mi propia experiencia siempre estuvo ahí

and i suppose a word that many  people used is the word constant

something that's always  with you so for many people

even if they are not royalists or monarchists

and i have to say i am not a  big monarchist or a royalist

however i do find the stability that  is given by having a king or queen

and i suppose reassurance  so so imagine three days ago

the shock when the queen sadly passed away

and now we are in a state of something  called morning morning you mourn someone

and i suppose i should mention now that  yesterday we we lost a member of our own family

y supongo que debería mencionar ahora que ayer perdimos a un miembro de nuestra propia familia

and i suppose i should say straight away

before i get too upset that we did  lose a member of our family yesterday

sadly mr steve's mother  passed away yesterday morning

and well i don't think i need to tell you that  we are all in a state of shock at the moment

and mr steve won't be here

steve of course a regular contributor he  is the person who is always by my side

Steve, por supuesto, es un colaborador habitual. Es la persona que siempre está a mi lado.

and yesterday we received the news in  the early hours of yesterday morning

y ayer recibimos la noticia en las primeras horas de la mañana de

that sadly mr steve's mother  had passed away at the age of 91

que, lamentablemente, la madre del señor steve había fallecido a la edad de 91 años,

so i i don't need to tell you that  we are feeling a little bit unhappy

así que no necesito decirles que nos sentimos un poco infelices,

but i had to come here today to let you know

pero tuve que venir aquí hoy. para

because i know many of you arrange your day

your sunday around my live streams

so i thought it was only  fair to come on here today

and let you know what was happening  the reason why i wasn't here

or should i say the reason why my live  stream is not the same as it normally is

my first thought was to cancel today's  live stream i wasn't going to be here

we weren't going to do anything

but from my own point of view it didn't feel right

it only felt fair to let you know  so this is a very short message

or even have any experience with uk culture  must find all of this rather strange

people feeling shocked and surprised  at the passing of the queen

sintiéndose conmocionada y sorprendida por el fallecimiento de la reina

and also the feeling of  sadness that everyone is having

y también el sentimiento de tristeza que todos están teniendo,
