A very, very difficult case.

A wedding ring worth £5,000 goes missing just 3 hours before the wedding.

حلقه ازدواجی به ارزش 5000 پوند تنها 3 ساعت قبل از عروسی گم می شود.

After my first enquiries I knew that...

this was clearly a job for

a very experienced detective.

[Shouting] Err, yes, I'm just coming. Can I have a cup of tea?

>>Best man Tea?! Oh, OK.

>>چای بهترین مرد ؟! آهان باشه.

>>Inspector [Groan... Grunt...] 

>>بازرس [ ناله... غرغر...]

That's better.

[Thinking] Now I was ready to continue my investigation. I had one important question.

[در حال فکر] اکنون من آماده بودم که به تحقیقاتم ادامه دهم . یک سوال مهم داشتم

Which guest saw the ring last?

کدام مهمان آخرین بار حلقه را دید؟

I needed to ask all the wedding guests

باید از همه مهمان های عروسی بپرسم

and if anybody's story was different... ha!!

و اگر داستان کسی متفاوت بود ... ها!!

I decided to start with the most difficult person first,

تصمیم گرفتم اول از سخت ترین فرد

the mother of the bride. [Sound of door opening and closing]

یعنی مادر عروس شروع کنم. [صدای باز و بسته شدن در]

>>Inspector A word, madam.

>>بازرس یک کلمه خانم.

>>Bride's mother May I help you, Inspector?

>>مادر عروس میتونم کمکت کنم بازرس؟

>>Inspector [Thinking] Just as I thought: she was being

>>بازرس [تفکر] همان‌طور که فکر می‌کردم: او

difficult. Yes, when did you... [He's given a cup of tea]

سخت بود. بله، کی ... [او یک فنجان چای داده است]

Oh, bride, tea, lovely, thank you.

اوه، عروس، چای، دوست داشتنی، ممنون.

>>Bride's mother Inspector!

>>بازرس مادر عروس!

>>Inspector When did you last see the ring?

>>بازرس آخرین بار کی حلقه را دیدی؟

>>Bride's mother Inspector. I am the mother of the bride. So, of course, I was arranging the flowers on

the suits of the groom and the best man - I am an expert in the art of flowers you know.

>>Bride's mother Of course I saw the ring Inspector! The best man kept it in his jacket pocket. He showed

it to the groom. It was in a small red plastic box. 

آن را به داماد نشان داد. در یک جعبه پلاستیکی قرمز کوچک بود.

>>Inspector [Thinking] She really was a very difficult

>>بازرس [تفکر] او واقعاً زن بسیار دشواری

woman... But through hard work and patience, I got the information I needed.

بود... اما از طریق سخت کوشی و صبر ، اطلاعات مورد نیازم را به دست آوردم.

The best man kept the ring in a small red plastic box in his jacket pocket...

who took the ring out of the box? Was her story true? It was time to talk to the groom.

چه کسی حلقه را از جعبه بیرون آورده است؟ آیا داستان او حقیقت داشت؟ وقت صحبت با داماد بود.

And you?! When did you last see the ring?

و شما؟! آخرین بار کی حلقه را دیدی؟

>>Groom Me Inspector?? Well, err... Well... let me think, I was talking to the best man. He showed

>>بازرس داماد من؟؟ خب ارور...خب...بذار فکر کنم داشتم با بهترین مرد حرف میزدم.

me the ring. It was in a small blue plastic box,

>>Inspector [Thinking] Hmmm. Very interesting. But what

When did you last see the ring?

>>Bride [Sobbing] I was fixing my hair and my mother

was fixing the flowers for the best man and the groom. I saw the best man take a large

out of his pocket. He opened it and showed my wedding ring to the groom.

Inspector, you will find my ring, won't you??

بازرس حلقه منو پیدا میکنی نه؟؟

>>Inspector She's still asking difficult questions...

>>بازرس او هنوز سوالات سختی می پرسد...

And why does she keep crying all the time?

و چرا مدام گریه می کند؟

Next on my list: the best man.

بعدی در لیست من: بهترین مرد.

And you?!!

و شما؟!!

>>All Me?

>>همه من؟

>>Inspector No, not you, you.

>>بازرس نه، نه شما، شما.

>>All Me?

>>Inspector No...

>>Best man [Innocently] Who me?

>>بهترین مرد [بی گناه] من کیست؟

When did you last see the ring?

آخرین بار کی حلقه را دیدی؟

>>Best man Ah, well, I was talking to the groom. The

>> بهترین مرد آه، خوب، داشتم با داماد صحبت می کردم.

ring was in a small red wooden box.

حلقه در یک جعبه چوبی قرمز کوچک بود.

I kept it in my jacket pocket.

توی جیب کاپشنم نگهش داشتم.

I showed it to the groom.

به داماد نشان دادم.

That's the last time I saw it.

آخرین باری بود که دیدمش

>>Inspector [Thinking] Just as I thought: another character I can't trust.

>>بازرس [تفکر] همان طور که فکر می کردم: شخصیت دیگری که نمی توانم به آن اعتماد کنم.

I knew I had to keep my eyes and ears open. Which guest was lying?

می دانستم که باید چشم و گوشم را باز نگه دارم. کدام مهمان دروغ می گفت؟

I needed a place to think -

من به جایی برای فکر کردن نیاز داشتم -

but I couldn't go back to the bathroom...

اما نمی توانستم به دستشویی برگردم ...

then I found the solution

سپس راه حل را پیدا کردم

- the garden.

- باغ.

Each one of these...

هر کدام از این...

people had told me their story…

مردم داستان خود را به من گفته بودند...

But who did I trust?

اما من به چه کسی اعتماد کردم؟

Something was not quite right... What was it?? [Thunderstorm]

یه چیزی درست نبود... چی بود؟؟ [طوفان]

[Thinking] It came to me suddenly, as if

[فکر کردن] ناگهان به سراغم آمد، انگار

in a dream... But I knew it wasn't a dream. No, all my experience and my excellent detective

در خواب... اما می دانستم که این یک رویا نیست. نه، تمام تجربیات من و

skills made me realise that each and every one of them had made a mistake in their story.

مهارت های کارآگاهی عالی من باعث شد متوجه شوم که هر کدام از آنها در داستان خود اشتباه کرده اند.

The groom said the box was blue, but everyone else said it was red.  The bride said the

box was large, but everyone else said it was small. The best man said the box was wooden,

جعبه بزرگ است اما بقیه گفتند کوچک است. بهترین مرد گفت جعبه چوبی است،

but everyone else said it was made of plastic. [Thunder]

اما بقیه گفتند که از پلاستیک ساخته شده است. [تندر]

>>Inspector [Thinking] And with that, I had all the evidence I needed

>>بازرس [تفکر] و با آن، تمام شواهدی را که لازم داشتم در اختیار داشتم،

but I had one more question:

اما یک سؤال دیگر داشتم:

what's happened to the horse?

چه اتفاقی برای اسب افتاده است؟

[Thunder]

Who is the thief?
