In this video, I'm gonna talk to you about adjectives order in a sentence using more than one

في هذا الفيديو ، سأتحدث إليكم عن ترتيب الصفات في جملة باستخدام أكثر من

adjective to modify a noun.

صفة لتعديل الاسم.

Now this is a very important topic

الآن هذا موضوع مهم للغاية

because if you use more than one adjective to modify a noun,

لأنك إذا استخدمت أكثر من صفة لتعديل اسم ما ،

you have to follow a specific order, so you need to keep watching.

فعليك اتباع ترتيب معين ، لذلك عليك متابعة المشاهدة.

Let's take a look at this adjective order.

دعنا نلقي نظرة على ترتيب الصفة هذا.

It looks like a lot at first, but you will learn very fast and practice will help.

يبدو الأمر كثيرًا في البداية ، لكنك ستتعلم بسرعة كبيرة وستساعدك الممارسة.

Let's have a look together.

First, we will use the adjectives describing quality or giving your opinion.

أولاً ، سوف نستخدم الصفات التي تصف الجودة أو إبداء رأيك.

Like delicious, beautiful, or good.

مثل لذيذ ، جميل ، أو جيد.

Then, we will talk about size. Adjectives like tall, short, big.

ثم سنتحدث عن الحجم. الصفات مثل طويل ، قصير ، كبير.

Then comes age. Like old, young, new, twenty-year-old.

ثم يأتي العمر. مثل العجوز ، الشاب ، الجديد ، في العشرين من عمره.

Then comes shape. Adjectives like round, or square.

ثم يأتي الشكل. الصفات مثل دائري أو مربع.

Then color - red, green, blue.

ثم اللون - الأحمر والأخضر والأزرق.

Origin - like Korean, Mexican, or American.

الأصل - مثل كوري أو مكسيكي أو أمريكي.

Material - like glass, gold, or wooden.

المواد - مثل الزجاج أو الذهب أو الخشب.

And finally, purpose adjectives like sport or coffee.

وأخيرًا ، صفات الغرض مثل الرياضة أو القهوة.

Remember my cup from the first video?

تذكر كوب بلدي من الفيديو الأول؟

Well we could say - it's a great big old round white Korean plastic cup.

حسنًا ، يمكننا أن نقول - إنه كوب بلاستيكي كوري أبيض قديم رائع.

So a great - giving my opinion.

عظيم - إبداء رأيي.

big - the size.

كبير - الحجم.

old - the age.

العمر - العمر.

round - for the shape .

مستدير - للشكل.

white - the color.

أبيض - اللون.

Korean - for the origins.

الكورية - للأصول .

plastic - the material.

البلاستيك - المادة.

That's the adjective order. I cannot break it. I have to follow it.

هذا هو ترتيب الصفة. لا أستطيع كسرها. علي أن أتبعها.

Don't worry guys.

لا تقلقوا يا رفاق. في

Most of the time you will only use one maybe two or three adjectives in one sentence.

معظم الأوقات ، ستستخدم فقط صفة واحدة ربما صفتين أو ثلاث في جملة واحدة.

But still you have to follow this order.

لكن لا يزال عليك اتباع هذا الأمر.

Let's now look together at a few sentences with multiple adjectives.

لنلقِ نظرة الآن معًا على بعض الجمل ذات الصفات المتعددة.

For example, these beautiful young girls went to school.

على سبيل المثال ، هؤلاء الفتيات الجميلات يذهبن إلى المدرسة.

First, how many adjectives do you see in that sentence?

أولاً ، كم عدد الصفات التي تراها في تلك الجملة؟

I see two adjectives beautiful and young.

أرى صفتين جميلتين وشابتين.

The order is beautiful - your opinion.

الترتيب جميل - رأيك.

And then, 'young' for age.

وبعد ذلك ، "الشباب" بالنسبة للعمر.

Second example.

I have dirty old running shoes.

How many adjectives can you see?

There are three.

How many adjectives?

There are three adjectives.

هناك ثلاث صفات.

Hot - your opinion.

ساخن - رأيك.

Green - the colour.

أخضر - اللون.

Korean - the origins.

الكورية - الأصول.

And finally, Canada is a nice large country.

وأخيرًا ، كندا بلد كبير لطيف.

Two adjectives.

صفتان.

Nice - for your opinion.

لطيف - لرأيك.

And large - for the size.

وكبير - للحجم.

Let's now review the sentences together for pronunciation.

Very nice. And finally,

Now how many adjectives can you see in this sentence?

I see two adjectives.

And is the order correct?

Tall - is the size.

طويل - هو الحجم.

British - the origins.

البريطانية - الأصول.

So it is correct. Yes.

لذلك هذا صحيح. نعم.

Size comes before origins.

الحجم يأتي قبل الأصول.

She is a tall British woman.

هي امرأة بريطانية طويلة.

I have a red big ball.

لدي كرة حمراء كبيرة.

How many adjectives?

كم عدد الصفات؟

Two.

اثنين.

And is the order correct?

وهل الترتيب صحيح؟

Red is the color

الأحمر هو اللون

and big is the size.

والكبير الحجم.

Well no it isn't.

حسنًا ، لا ليس كذلك.

It should be - I have a big red ball.

يجب أن يكون - لدي كرة حمراء كبيرة.

Size comes before color.

الحجم يأتي قبل اللون.

I got a gold new watch.

حصلت على ساعة ذهبية جديدة.

Again, I suppose you know - two adjectives.

Gold for the material.

and new for the age.

And age comes before material so it should be

We have two adjectives.

And size comes before color so it should be,

And finally,

Three adjectives.

ثلاث صفات.

Is the order correct?

Well it is correct.

We have 'cute' for your opinion. '

لدينا "لطيف" لرأيك.

'little' for the size.

'white' for the color.

And the order is correct.
