HOLIDAY: English Speaking Practice | Have A REAL English Conversation

It's beautiful isn't it? It's just so nice being out of the house and

travelling, seeing the world. Have you ever been to Egypt before? What was your

favourite ever holiday in your whole life? favourite place?

How long ago was that?

And how did you get there? Did you fly, go by boat, did it take a long time?

I think my favorite place was a trip I did to

Eiderfjord which is one of the fjords in Norway and I traveled there actually on

a cruise ship. I was working on the cruise ships at the time so I got to

visit lots of different places and Eiderfjord we went to three times.

absolutely loved it every time I was there. I had such a wonderful time so

lots of fond memories. Is there somewhere in the world that you're desperate to

see that you haven't yet seen?

I really want to go to Australia. Australia, New

Zealand, that kind of area of the world. I have seen a lot of the world already I

must admit. Also more places in South America I need to go to see. So tell me

all about your favourite ever holiday.

so tell me what you did, how long you were

there, how you felt, the food you ate, tell me all about it.

Have you ever had a bad holiday experience? Have you ever like for

example, have you ever been ill on holiday or had an accident?

I've been very lucky I have to admit I think the worst thing that ever happened

to me was on a surfing holiday; the surfboard got pushed from underneath me

it came up into the air and it hit me in the face and cut my eye open and that

was the biggest trauma of any holiday I've ever had. It wasn't bad I just had a

black eye for the whole holiday so everyone was looking at me strange. And

have you ever been on a holiday that you found disappointing?

I went to New York the last time I went to New York I've been about three or

four times I've always loved it. But my last time I didn't really plan what I

was going to do and the weather was terrible; it just rained torrential rain

the whole time and I didn't have an umbrella or a raincoat. I had silly shoes

on and I just felt miserable the whole day, so that was really a really

disappointing trip but otherwise I've tended to enjoy all of my holidays. And

when's when's your next holidays? Do you have a holiday due at any point? Where

are you going to go next, and who will you go there with?

Have you done many trips like on your own just you?

I haven't ever been

anywhere by myself, apart from when I was working on the cruise ship obviously I

didn't have anyone with me but I wouldn't be brave enough to go on my own.

I always like to have someone with me.

Anyway for now let's just enjoy the rest of this holiday. Is there anything you'd

like to do tonight? Maybe we can go and have a meal or something?

Or go on a boat? What do you fancy?

Well now I think we should go and have a dip

in the pool what do you think? Great um I'm just gonna get my swimsuit on and I'll
