Meaning of FED UP and HAD ENOUGH - A Really Short English Lesson with Subtitles

So in English, when we say, "I'm fed up.",

英語で「I'm fed up.」と言うときは、

it means that you don't want any more of something.

これ以上何かを欲しがらないという意味です。

Right now, in Canada, we are getting a lot of snow,

今、カナダで は雪がたくさん降っていて

and I love snow, but people who don't like snow

、私は雪が大好きですが、雪が 嫌いな人

might say, "I'm fed up with all the snow

は「周りの雪にうんざりしている」と言うかもしれません

"that we have around."

You see behind me, we got a nice dumping

of snow this morning.

Because I like snow, I wouldn't say that,

So again, two phrases, when you are fed up with something

or when you have had enough of something,

it means that you don't want to see any more of it
