It means a few things. Let's start

When we ask "What do you mean?"

We're asking for more explanation. We're saying

For example: if someone said to you

You know, if you give me £1,000, then I will give you £1,000,000

This makes no sense!

So maybe you want to say:

When you want to say something is your responsibility

당신이 무언가를 말하고 싶을 때

There is an expectation of you to do something

당신이 무언가를 할 것이라는 기대가 있습니다

For example: "I was meant to take my memory medicine, but I forgot!"

예를 들면: "나는 기억력 약을 먹기로 되어 있었는데 잊어버렸어요!"

haha I'm sorry really bad joke

Another meaning of saying "to be meant to do something"

"어떤 일을 하게 되어있다"라는 말의 또 다른 의미

People use this also to talk about fate and destiny

사람들은 운명과 운명에 대해 말할 때도 이것을 사용합니다.

When you want to say: "This is my fate! This is my destiny in life!"

"이건 내 운명이야! 이건 내 인생의 운명이야!"

"I am meant to do this thing"

"나는 이 일을 하도록 운명지어졌다"

For example: Who do you think is meant to sit on the Iron throne?

Another meaning of mean talks about the consequence of something

Well I have the answer

Or perhaps a more common example, in a breakup

The next meaning of mean is the OPPOSITE to "nice" or "friendly"

That means: The opposite of being friendly, the opposite of being nice

The next meaning of mean. Something has a special significance to you

It is special to you in some way. For example:
