An Outdoor English Lesson About Spring! Enjoy!

So the other day, I did a lesson about spring,

그래서 저번에 봄에 대한 레슨을 했었는데,

and I thought because it was such a nice spring day,

너무 좋은 봄날이라 나와서

I should come out and do a little bit of a review for you.

리뷰를 좀 해봐야 겠다는 생각이 들었습니다.

As you can see, I'm wearing my spring jacket,

보시다시피 저는 봄 재킷을 입고

and I'm also wearing my rubber boots.

있고 고무 장화도 신고 있습니다.

It's nice to have rubber boots in the spring,

봄에 고무 장화를 신는 것이 좋습니다.

so that when you walk in something like this puddle,

그래서 여러분이 이런 웅덩이를 걸을 때,

and we have lots of puddles, my feet don't get wet.

우리는 웅덩이가 많기 때문에 발이 젖지 않습니다.

We've been having quite a few spring showers lately.

최근 봄비 소식이 꽤 있습니다.

So there's definitely puddles in the driveway,

and it's nice to have rubber boots,

so I can walk through them without getting my feet wet.

When you walk over here,

you can notice that the grass is turning green.

It's really nice to see the grass turning green.

Soon we'll have to mow it.

It certainly is a lot nicer than it was a few weeks ago

This tree though, doesn't have leaves yet.

It is going to leaf out in the next couple of weeks.

Right now, you can see that this tree has buds on it,

I can't wait for this tree to leaf out,

because then I will have some shade,

and I can sit under there on a hot day,

and the sun won't burn me,

one of the problems that I have sometimes

in the spring and in the summer.

Now unfortunately, the geese,

안타깝게도

which usually migrate south in the winter,

겨울에 남쪽으로 이동했다가

and come back in the spring, they're not here today.

봄에 돌아오는 거위들은 오늘 여기에 없습니다.

Actually, that's not true.

They were here earlier this morning,

and they decided to go somewhere else.

As we walk this way,

I just wanna say it's nice to be outside in the spring.

In the springtime,

there's a lot of opportunities to go outside for fresh air.

신선한 공기를 마시러 밖에 나갈 기회가 많습니다.

I am really enjoying the fresh air and the spring breeze

that's blowing this morning.

오늘 아침에 불어오는 봄바람과 신선한 공기를 정말 좋아합니다.

Hopefully it's not making the audio sound weird.

오디오 사운드가 이상하게 들리지 않기를 바랍니다.

Sometimes when it's too windy, that happens.

가끔 바람이 많이 불면 그런 일이 생깁니다.

Hey, when you look at my vehicles,

이봐, 내 차량을 볼 때

the red van has normal tires on it,

빨간색 밴에는 일반 타이어가 장착되어

but the blue van still has snow tires on it.

있지만 파란색 밴 에는 여전히 스노우 타이어가 장착되어 있습니다.

One of the things we do in spring

우리가 봄에 하는 일 중 하나는 차량에서

is we take the snow tires off our vehicles.

스노우 타이어를 빼는 것입니다 .

We take the winter tires off, and we put on normal tires.

겨울용 타이어를 빼고 일반 타이어를 장착합니다.

If I'm quiet, you can hear a bird chirping,

내가 조용하면 새가 지저귀는 소리가 들릴 것입니다.

definitely another sign of spring.

확실히 봄의 또 다른 신호입니다.

Hopefully my microphone is picking that up.

내 마이크가 그것을 집어들기를 바랍니다.

As we walk this way,

이 길을 걷다 보면

you'll see that this tree has buds on it as well.

이 나무 에도 새싹이 있는 것을 볼 수 있습니다.

Soon, these three trees will leaf out,

곧 이 세 그루의 나무가 잎사귀를 펼칠 것이고

and we'll have lots of shade over here too.

여기도 많은 그늘이 생길 것입니다.

And I'm glad I have my rubber boots on still,

그래도 고무 장화를 신고 있어서 다행입니다. 여기

because if you can see down here, there's a lot of mud.

아래를 보면 진흙이 많이 있거든요.

You can even see my footprints after I step here.

이곳에 발을 디딘 뒤에도 내 발자국을 볼 수 있습니다.

So I'm glad I'm wearing rubber boots,

그래서 고무 장화를 신고 있어

so that I can step in the mud with no problems.

문제 없이 진흙탕을 밟을 수 있어 기쁩니다.

I was going to show you daffodils and tulips,

수선화와 튤립을 보여드리려고 했는데

but I actually think there's only daffodils here.

사실 여기는 수선화밖에 없는 것 같아요.

So this is a bed, a flower bed.

그래서 이것은 침대, 화단입니다.

These are daffodils.

수선화입니다.

Those are the nice yellow flowers.

예쁜 노란꽃들입니다.

They will bloom in about two or three weeks.

그들은 약 2-3주 후에 꽃을 피울 것입니다 .

And hopefully we can get some together into bouquets,

and sell them.
