Wow A New Video! I Am Back! Find out why I was gone!

Hi Bob the Canadian here.

I know it’s been a while, but I’m back to making videos to help you learn English.

Well welcome back, it’s winter here in Canada.

I was sitting in my house this morning thinking, “What should I do today?”

And then I had a thought, “What have I done lately with my Youtube channel?”

You may have noticed that I put a video up late last spring, and then after that I didn’t

really make anymore new videos to help you folks learn English.

And there’s a story to that, there’s a reason why I haven’t made videos for almost

9 or 10 months.

And the reason is last spring I got sick.

I got really sick.

I don’t know how it happened, they think possibly it was because I went to the dentist.

But I ended up getting what was called a bacterial blood infection.

And it ended up on my heart of all places.

So I was in the hospital for four days and it took me almost till the end of July about

2 or 3 months to really feel better.

Around that time it was summer.

I had been off work.

I had been resting.

I had been recuperating, and there were a lot of things I needed to catch up on.

I needed to spend more time with my family.

My wife and I operate a flower farm up here in Ontario, Canada.

I needed to spend time helping to produce and sell flowers.

In the fall I went back to work and I needed to focus on work.

And above all I needed to just take a good look at my life and what I was spending my

time doing.

I decided I needed to eat healthier.

That’s hard for me, I’m not a big fruit and vegetable kind of guy.

I needed to make sure I was exercising so I started walking regularly.

And towards last December I started to feel a lot better.

It seems like a long time, but I started to feel great.

The New Year started and I started to think to myself.

I really need to start making videos again for you guys.

So this is my first one.

This is my, “Welcome Back!”

video.

I’m really looking forward to spending some time making videos for you.

the comments below, or message me via facebook.

Whatever you need to do to contact me, let me know and I’ll get right on it.

And just again, just a reflection on a balanced life, last time I did this I tried to make

three videos a week and I really think that might have been a little too many.

I know you guys enjoyed it.

I know you enjoyed having that many videos to watch, but I feel like going forward I’m

going to try and do this.

I’m going to try and make about 30 videos between now and the end of the year.

About one a week.

I think I’ll take a few breaks.

I’ll certainly do this, I will communicate better to you my subscribers there’s almost

2000 of you now, what I’m doing and where I’m at so you have sense if I’m taking

a two week break I’ll let you know that you can look forward to videos coming at a

certain time.

As it stands now, it's a beautiful winter day up here in Canada.

I’m really enjoying the snowfall.

I going to get this video edited down and uploaded in the next day.

And then my next plan is to just put together the next, “Learn English with Bob the Canadian”

video.

Look for that towards the end of this week.

And I’ll just try to do a good job assessing your needs and creating videos that help you

learn English.
