Happy New Year and An Update

Well, hello.

I wanna start this video first of all

by saying happy new year.

I hope you're enjoying 2022.

So far, it seems like a pretty good year

even though it's only been a few days.

I wanted to say happy new year

and I wanted to kind of tell you that I've had a good break,

but it's been a little bit different

than what we were expecting.

Three out of the six people in my house

have tested positive for COVID.

As we started the Christmas break, we did some testing,

we had some rapid tests, and one of my kids had COVID,

and then another one.

And then, yeah, I think it just kind of spreads from there.

What I will tell you is that I'm also not feeling well

as of a couple of days ago, but it seems fairly mild.

The people in my house that have had COVID,

they've had some sniffles, like a runny nose,

a little bit of a cough, a little bit of a sore throat,

and I'm kind of having those same symptoms.

We're all vaccinated, we're all double vaccinated.

I even have my booster shot

so I think that's helpful as well.

But I just wanna say that I haven't tested positive

for COVID, but I certainly don't feel great today.

Today is Thursday by the way.

So that's going to mean that my break from YouTube

is going to be a few days longer.

I don't feel like doing a live lesson tomorrow or Saturday,

so Friday and Saturday,

because I feel like I'm not sure I can talk for an hour.

Like I don't have a super sore throat,

but it's kind of scratchy

and I just think it would be a bad idea.

So I'm gonna hold off

and I'm not going to do a live lesson tomorrow or Friday.

Sorry, tomorrow or Saturday.

I'm losing track of the days.

I am planning, hopefully, to still have a video out for you

next Tuesday.

We'll see though.

I'm not sure how things will go.

And then, I do wanna just state again, don't stress.

We're not like really badly sick or anything like that.

For my one son, he was sick for a day

and then he was better again so it wasn't too big of a deal,

but certainly it's a little bit weird

'cause we're kind of stuck at home.

We've been stuck at home for about eight or nine days

and it looks like we'll be stuck at home for a few days more

as well.

So anyways, thanks for watching this little update.
